I bought a washing machine and had a bit of a disaster trying to install it all myself. Within three hours of calling Kirkby, I have a working washer and some new fitment under the sink, all at a very reasonable cost. Would highly recommend, thank you 🙏🙏

Had a tap hose burst under bathroom sink, called Lee told him we had been without water all nite (happened late the nite before) he arrived in under an hour, had the hoses on both taps out & replaced in less than 60 minutes and really reasonable price. 100% would recommend to anyone wanting a great plumber. We would highly recommend Pete. We have used him for a handful of plumbing emergencies the last couple of years and he's always been super quick to respond and resolve our issues (and reasonably priced too!) One of our issues was with an upstairs loo which was leaking and also making a dreasful "foghorn" noise when it flushed which he solved the same day and the other bathroom also had a leak and an old antique toilet with a wooden cistern that other plumbers were too afraid to go near. Not only did Pete fix this for us, but through a labour of love, he took it away, releaded it for us and sanded it / brought it back to life and it now looks beautiful back in the bathroom. Pete is a friendly, professional plumber and we wouldn't use or recommend anyone else. If you have an issue, you need someone there ASAP to fix it and want the job to be done right, first time. Then Pete is your man. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Just had Peter out today. I tried numerous plumbers who don’t turn up when they say they will and one who was really rude and expensive but Peter turned up within half an hour, communicated effectively, diagnosed the problem immediately (when previous plumbers didn’t) and fixed it there and then. Also, he’s actually a really nice man. Card only so nice and safe too. Thank you so much because I was getting so anxious after 2 weeks of unsuccessfully not fixing the leak!

Phoned Pete pm and arranged for am appt next day. Pete arrived on time, fitted a new part and gave info on the problem. Problem of water continually running into toilet bowl from cistern solved. Will use again as Pete was a pleasant plumber.

Chris from Peel Plumbing and Heating is fantastic. He has helped me with a faulty boiler and a leaking toilet cistern pipe in the past 18 months, and both times has come out late into the evening or on the weekend to sort it. He is cheerful and works hard, is focused and careful with his work, and he has sorted both issues quickly and without fuss. His rates are very reasonable and nothing is too much trouble. I couldn't recommend him enough.

Superb job. Marley did a great job and was patient with my questions etc. Had issue with boiler, MCR Gas came out, said it was unsafe and returned the following week to fit new boiler. Full day job from Marley who was superb all day. Great lad, pleasant and hard working. Was back by 9am the morning after to finish off some pipe work and help with a thermostat issue. I was previously with a different boiler company and had nothing but problems, I messaged Chris 9am and by 7pm he was at mine checking the issues I had, explained to me what was wrong and sent us an estimate to get it all fixed, we booked him the following day and he arrived back a matter of days later where he sorted out our issue and completed our service that needed doing! We can't thank him enough, after a long 4 years with our previous company we are so glad to have moved and found Chris and this company, we most certainly will be recommending others to us MCR Gas!

Outstanding Gas Boiler Installation Service I recently had a new gas boiler installed, and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. From start to finish, the process was smooth and stress-free. The team was professional, punctual, and incredibly knowledgeable, taking the time to explain my options and ensure I understood the installation process. The installation itself was carried out efficiently, by Josh and Stefan with great attention to detail. They left my home spotless, ensuring everything was cleaned up afterward. The boiler is working perfectly, and I can already see the improvement in heating efficiency. What really stood out was the excellent customer care. We really wanted a local company so we got better customer service and definitely weren't disappointed. The lads came to swap our old boiler for a new combi boiler, they were all friendly, really professional and did a fantastic job. New boiler looks great and we have decent heating and water pressure for the first time since we moved in 4 years ago. Matthew is highly skilled, professional, and goes out of his way to help. Matthew replaced our boiler in November, after it completely broke down on us! Matthew responded promptly when I requested a quotation to replace an old combi boiler and replace some inadequate pipework. He visited the property soon afterwards and spent more than an hour surveying the situation, listening to my concerns about the existing heating and plumbing and advising regards my requirements. There was no rush, no hard sell, just clear information, professional advice and choices to consider. He gave a clear indication of the lead-in time and the expected timespan for the work. When asked he had no hesitation in telling me his current charge for annual boiler service. Prior to his visit I had surveys and quotations from other installers. In fact some of them never even quoted, presumably because of the complexity of the work. I had no doubt after his visit that Matthew was my preferred installer even before his quotation arrived. I was pleased when his quotation was the most competitive. Follow-on communications by phone, text and emails were timely and reassuring. The new boiler is the Ideal Vogue Max 26kW with the added option of an integrated Ideal Halo interface with a Smart room Thermostat giving Wi-Fi and remote control as well as manual control. The boiler has a 12 year warranty. It is very quiet and efficient for central heating and hot water. The work was carried out in a professional and courteous manner. Thorough testing revealed a leaking isolating gas valve for the hob. Matthew replaced this immediately with a new valve from the van and he also replaced a seal on a radiator. Matthew is not rushed and takes pride in his workmanship. I am very pleased with his work and happy to recommend him.

I echo the positive words of the previous review by Mr Gwilliam. Tony took us through all the options from replacing our old boiler to buying a new one. Absolutely no pressure but just great advice. We decided to buy a new boiler. Tony kept us up to date all the way through the purchase and installation, and gave us great post installation service as well. He fitted us in to his diary at our most convenient time. He also came to see us late in the evening, understanding I generally don’t get home from work until late and so not around during the day to chat. We were blown away by how neat all the work was, and the clean up after installation was immaculate. We will use him again without a second thought, and would recommend him to you too. Thanks Tony.
