I am just moving to the area so don't know any local people or companies yet. After a gas engineer from another company had to cancel on me last minute, I called WTS in a bit of a panic and they were able to send me someone that same day, and at a reasonable price. Carl was professional and polite, and he showed up exactly on time. With pandemic measures in place (mask, gloves etc.) he still managed to be friendly as well as safe! One thing I would say is that there seems to be a problem with their phone system, in that the call was never able to connect when I was ringing them (not my phone, as I tested it with other numbers and it was working fine). But WTS were quick to ring me back and that connection always worked. Thank you for helping me out at the last minute. I will absolutely be calling WTS if I need their services again!

Fitted a new boiler for me in quick time, just as a cold spell hit. The engineer was excellent and because of where the boiler was being fitted hardly seen. Separately another man turned up to brick up the hole on the outside wall, and then the day after that the old boiler was removed. Couldn't fault the job.

Fantastic and professional plumber came and resolved a number of problems for us, some we didn't even know about! He diagnosed the problem knowing the water system of a house in detail and how everything is connected, this meant he could show us how a problem in the kitchen was related to a problem in the loft! Went and got all the parts then came straight back and fixed it! Saved us a lot of stress and potential worse problems further down the line! Many thanks! Would definitely recommend this plumbing company to others!

Had a burst hot water pipe that shut down our water supply. Called the house insurance emergency service THREE times and still no appointment so we got Paul’s number from a neighbour. A few text messages later, on a Saturday no less, Paul arrives and does a superb repair job!! Very polite and professional. Highly recommended!!

After clearing my blocked drain they advised the drain pipe was cracked and need to be replaced. they returned a week later and replaced the damaged pipe. Great job , tidy , and professional. They kept me iinformed of what they were doing at every stage. I would certainly not hesitate to use these guys again.

Have just had an absolutely superb experience from Robbie and his team at Shoosmith. I had a big problem with an upstairs toilet and after a call with Robbie he was able to send over one of his engineers Andy within just a few hours to take a look at the issue and after a couple of hours was able to rectify the leak and repair it. Andy was polite and above all extremely detailed with his work. Would absolutely recommend 100%.

Fantastic, professional and very helpful company. Used them twice now. Bought a new house and water wouldn't work. They arrived quickly and resolved the problem immediately with no charge. Then had a more recent problem, which they talked me through how to fix over the phone again ni charge. Genuinely a very nice and helpful organisation who clearly put the customer first. We had an issue with our heating I left an email through Simon’s website He called me back the following day and after I explained the fault Simon said he could come and have a look at what we thought was an air lock Simon messaged me to say he was on his way this afternoon at 3.30 Saturday 11/1/25 On arrival he discovered the motorised valve had failed he promptly left to collect a new one and replaced it The air lock was still there unfortunately but Simon would not be beaten with dogged persistence he eventually had us all up and running after 4 hours and finished at 7.30 with still another job to do many others would have given up I can’t recommend Simon enough and would not hesitate to call on him again Five star service and on a Saturday Well done Simon great job Thank you

Hired Louis + team to rip and refit our bathroom. Excellent service and communication throughout the whole process. They were happy to take on board and design choices that we specified as well as give advice where we were unsure. Just as the weather started to get our boiler packed up. Louis was recommended to me and was very quick to respond and come over to assess the job on the same day. He diagnosed the problem quickly, parts were ordered and delivered with next day delivery and the boiler was repaired successfully. Communication was very good throughout and Louis was very clear explaining the problem and gave good advice regarding what to do next.

Cannot fault these guys. From start to finish they were quick, clean and reassuring. The job took 2 days because of complications with my old boiler setup. The first day, two lads came over to uninstall the boiler (can’t remember their names sorry - but they both seemed great!) and then David came over to begin the install. David is a stand-up guy. Really genuinely lovely, and very knowledgeable. The second day Riley was over to assist, and was also really lovely and explained to me how to use my new system which I have set up tonight. The job was finished to a high standard and the guys cleaned up after themselves. Fantastic service and I’m really grateful to them for taking such a professional level of care.

Excellent, got a new boiler at a new site and the guys and the end product were all great. New boiler purrs quietly away like a contented cat. Price was also very reasonable indeed, about 40% less than the one other quote I got. Would of course re-hire.
