After other people had come to look at my kitchen then blanked me without providing a quote, Britannia have been a breath of fresh air. Darran came the next day and provided a detailed quote for the work - removing an old oven and hob, and fitting a new dual fuel range cooker plus associated wiring needs - the day after. He suggested two days to come for the work, and the only delay then was on my side. I am really pleased with the work that he and Nigel have done.

The Britannia team did an excellent job, fitting our new radiators, servicing the boiler and flushing out our boiler (which the last company we used didn't do, which would have damaged our boiler further). We would highly recommend Britannia for both plumbing and electrical works

I'd used Mike for a couple of small plumbing jobs previously and he'd always been reliable so when I wanted a whole new bathroom, it was a no brainer to call him again. Mike provided a reasonable quote and was able to send me loads of options for different bathroom furniture. He was even able to source specific items based on images I sent him. The whole bathroom was ripped out and redone in the space of a week and the work was to a really high standard. He even came back a few weeks later to fix the radiator back on the wall once the decorating had been finished. I can't praise him highly enough. Honest, punctual and reliable which is hard to find nowadays. I wouldn't hesitate to contact him again if I needed any work on the house doing. Thanks, Mike!

What can I say, Mike is AMAZING. I originally met him when I called him for a shower repair one Sunday and he turned up the same day! Mike mended the shower plus some other stuff the same week and I booked him to replace my bathroom a few months later. Mike was very responsive and creative about what I wanted. He came when he said he would and gave me a fantastic, bespoke bathroom and separate toilet within 2 weeks. He also came back 6 months later to repair a tap, under warranty, at no cost to me and within 24 hours of the reported issue. I cannot recommend Mike and his team highly enough. They are brill.

I picked this company as it was local and for its positive reviews when the boiler broke and I was very happy with my choice . Their communication was great , came on time to the appointment and fixed it. Also did a few extra tasks like cleaning pipes which help the boilers efficiency and cleaned over the casing . I had a leak that required emergency attention, this worried me as a recently new home owner. Mr Mulla was polite, punctual, and professional. Not only did he reassure me that the leak had been fixed, but he also educated me about my home's plumbing system and things to look out for. Mr Mulla went above and beyond and I will be more than happy to use his services again should I need them.

Having recently moved into my new place I initially contacted Jim to conduct a routine boiler service however Jim discovered a range of faults with how my system had initially been fitted including a none functional stop tap. Jim was very honest and transparent with the difficulties in rectifiying the issues due to no functional external stop tap and stayed close to the initial quote cost even though the job took considerably more hours than initially planned. Would highly recommend Jim or any Gas & Plumbing needs.

I had a free standing gas cooker installed by Michael from iplumb. He rang me to let me know he was going to be a bit late which is great as not all tradesmen do this. He removed the old cooker and installed the new one with no fuss and talked me through what he was doing. He is a cracking young man who is very easy to talk to. I need my boiler servicing in March and have no hesitation in booking iplumb to do this. Great job.

My experience with HMC has been outstanding from start to finish. I’m a tenant at a managed block of apartments in Manchester and, I had an issue with my thermostat last week, resulting in me not having any hot water. Having called my Lettings agent, I was put through to the out of hours team, who then passed me on to Hash at HMC, accordingly. He was incredibly helpful and had all the time for me during our phone call. He ran through a few things with me on the call, to better understand what the issue was. A day or so later I next heard from Kelly at HMC, confirming what time I would be in to have someone come and fix the issue. She was also incredibly friendly to deal with and I appreciated the notice given. Chris arrived and swiftly ascertained what the issue was, and quickly sought to fix this. He answered all the questions I had for him and was generally really approachable and friendly to deal with. The issue was part of a building-wide issue, and needed a part to be ordered and for my landlord to approve the job. The latter took a further couple of days or so. Within such time I had further dealt with both Hash and Kelly, both of whom were incredibly informative and reassuring, also. Finally I dealt with Steve, who arrived with the part and he managed to sort my hot water issue out. Again, Steve was nothing short of incredibly professional, friendly and really informative. Overall, and as above, I have to say that my experience with HMC has been outstanding. I would’ve probably been really quite frustrated over the last few days (having not had any hot water for nearly 1 week) but, this has been entirely compacted due to the amazing level of care and customer service shown by the 4 individuals I’ve mentioned above (Hash, Kelly, Chris and Steve), at HMC. You are all an absolute asset to your company and I hope you are duly recognised for this. Thank you again!

I can’t thank this team enough! If it weren’t for Kelly, we’d still be stuck in week five without hot water. Kelly is a no-nonsense professional, and I truly admire that about her. She took charge of the situation and managed to get us hot water within 24 hours, despite the delays caused by agents and landlords. Steven was equally amazing professional, friendly, and efficient. He resolved the issue in minutes, replaced the necessary parts with zero hassle, and had our hot water running by the end of the night. I deeply appreciate the urgency and dedication they brought to this matter. When we were desperate for basic necessities, Kelly and Steven came through for us. I have had a new boiler installation done by Smart gas found them online. After reading reviews decided to give them a call. Installer Nick came out had a look and sent us a quote he wasnt pushey or trying to sell me something I didnt need. Nick couldn't help us enough, infact I called him again before I made decision to go ahead with deal. He went through all again and i checked there was no hidden charges he was so nice and reassuring. Paul and Nick came and team fitted the new boiler system removing the old water tank system while doing this work they was so clean and tidy couldnt believe by end we had a new boiler fitted work to high standards. I couldnt thank the team enough paul went through all instructions for the boiler calmly and politely. The next day we had a small leak nothing dramatic but called engineer Nick and he came straight away his really good and so helpful and kind true great workman. If anyone has hesitation about this company please dont the team are brilliant and there work is 100% high standards at a great reasonable price. Big thankyou to Nick for all you did topman.
