After finding an overnight leak from our hot water tank we did need help pretty quickly I rang M&R Plumbing & Heating Ltd and they said they had someone in the area and would get him to call. Michael duly arrived, he managed to drain the system for us and was able to leave with our water supply and central heating working while a new tank was ordered. This was fitted by Jake and his assistant who did a really professional and thorough job leaving everything neat and tidy. We also found the office staff were very friendly and helpful. We can't recommend this company enough and would certainly use them for any other jobs.

We choose M&R Plumbing and Heating to fit our new boiler because we wanted a local company that we could deal with face to face and have confidence that the advice prior to fitting and the finished job would suit what we required. Also that the installation would be completed on time and to an excellent standard and post fitting any questions or concerns we had would be dealt with effectively, all within a competitive price. That is exactly what we received. All the way through the home visit to advise on what system we needed through to the completed installation it could not have gone smoother. M&R kept us updated at every stage of the boiler fitting and system reinstatement, effectively managed a few questions and post fitting queries we had and were very professional at all times. The completed job is fantastic and we’ve noticed a significant positive difference with the new boiler, we would highly recommend M&R Plumbing & Heating without hesitation, fantastic reliable company to use.

I found Simon on Checkatrade following a fault on my old boiler. Simon came promptly and arrived when he said he would, through no fault of his own was unable to locate the fault (very old boiler). He was very informative as to what the issues could be and what the costs would be to carry out works to find the fault through a process of elimination. We also discussed the benefits of a new boiler. Without any pressure being applied we decided to opt for a new boiler. Simon gave us several options and left it with us to decide, which we did. Simon came back within two weeks and fit the new boiler with minimum disruption. I would highly recommend Simon to anyone. Excellent knowledge, communications, arrived when he said he would and was a pleasure to deal with.

Rob and Dan came to fit my new ideal boiler and hive thermostat today. The job was to remove the old boiler and replace it with a new one in a new location. Both the guys are extremely professional. The install is amazing we couldn’t be happier with it. They are super easy to get on with and made the whole process very easy with very little disruption. The job was booked in good time and we were very happy with the competitive price and their advice on products was spot on. They have left my property warm clean and ready for the next 7 years (at least) of trouble free heating. Highly recommended 10/10

Rob at Peak Plumbing went out of his way to help us over the phone first thing this morning when we had a plumbing emergency and then came to our house only an hour later. He checked the situation, gave us great advice then came back again later on with all the tools he needed to get the job done. Came across A Mellor out of necessity when my boiler broke on Xmas day in 2020. They replaced radiators and my boiler quickly and for a reasonable price. The engineers arrived at allotted time. Boiler delivered at the same time as engineers. Made sure we had water for day before turning off. Surfaces covered with dust sheets. Old boiler removed and new one fitted. Pipework altered to suit new boiler. Neat work - looks like spirit level and plumb line used. All rubbish removed and areas cleaned on finishing. Paperwork filled in and controls demonstrated to me. Would definitely recommend using this firm.

It was a bit of a non standard job since our old boiler was Biomass, it lead to a few complications but the team handled them all well and made sure they were solved before they finished. For non standard jobs like ours I would recommend asking for a visit to survey the job rather than looking at it remotely in order to get a more accurate quote and time frame. However the company provided us several quotes and options. Their communication was good and it was a particularly difficult job which they found a way to complete.

It took 3 attempts to diagnose and repair to continued loss of pressure to our boiler. While it was frustrating, we must say JB Heating stuck with it and resolved the problem. In addition, not only was the engineer very polite and courteous, the admin back at the office keep us fully informed each time from booking the appointments to confirming the time of the engineer’s arrival, as well as responding with further updates.
