First had Johnny last year to service my boiler, he also serviced my gas fire, he is very good, he told me about my roof when he checked my chimney and he was right, he has also fixed my toilet, and my shower, and then I had a fault with my boiler and he fixed that to. He is polite and friendly and doesn't leave a mess, and his costs are reasonable, so if you need a plumber who knows what he's doing give him a call.

Jonny and his team have carried out a number of jobs for us now, including a boiler replacement at home and repairs/servicing on our rental property. He goes above and beyond to make sure problems are resolved. The communication is excellent, they turn up on time, and are clean an tidy. I'd definitely recommend JB Plumbing and heating, and so glad we've found a reliable company to use going forward.

I would highly recommend. I had been having trouble finding replacement bath taps with an old style fitting. James went the extra mile and managed to find replacements and fit them where other plumbers hadn't.

Fantastic service. Very honest. I was quoted £400 and £220 to fix a radiator from other companies. James saw the pics and provided a very reasonable price. Was respectful in every way and even took shoes off when working. Cleaned up after. Great service - and I’ll be using James to replace a bathtub in the forseeable future. We needed a new gas hub to be fitted on the same day. A trusted builder recommended Rapid heating. To our delight, they sent the gas safe engineers later in the afternoon on the same day. The hob was fitted to a high standard, tested and they even cleaned up afterwards. I can highly recommend this organisation.

Very speedy, friendly and professional service. Came out to have a look at my leaking boiler within 24 hours of first contact, and when it was deemed my old boiler was past the point of saving (though they did try), I was able to have a new boiler fitted within a couple of days. Great work, very efficient, much better boiler, over and above service. Price was excellent on all fronts and generally a pleasure to deal with in a situation that is usually unwanted. Superb job. Marley did a great job and was patient with my questions etc. Had issue with boiler, MCR Gas came out, said it was unsafe and returned the following week to fit new boiler. Full day job from Marley who was superb all day. Great lad, pleasant and hard working. Was back by 9am the morning after to finish off some pipe work and help with a thermostat issue. We really wanted a local company so we got better customer service and definitely weren't disappointed. The lads came to swap our old boiler for a new combi boiler, they were all friendly, really professional and did a fantastic job. New boiler looks great and we have decent heating and water pressure for the first time since we moved in 4 years ago. Hive was fully explained and they even helped us to get a radiator up and working again. Definitely recommend and will definitely be using again. Thanks guys

I was previously with a different boiler company and had nothing but problems, I messaged Chris 9am and by 7pm he was at mine checking the issues I had, explained to me what was wrong and sent us an estimate to get it all fixed, we booked him the following day and he arrived back a matter of days later where he sorted out our issue and completed our service that needed doing! We can't thank him enough, after a long 4 years with our previous company we are so glad to have moved and found Chris and this company, we most certainly will be recommending others to us MCR Gas!

February 2025 Paul and Will have just installed a new bathroom for me and as expected, they've done an excellent job (photos below). Great project management from Paul and nothing was too much trouble. The end result looks superb - almost too good to use!!!! It's a bonus that Paul and Will are an absolute pleasure to have in your house, which counts for a lot when you've a job that extends over a few days. November 2024 Paul has just fitted a new combi boiler, 5 radiators and a Hive thermostat and I couldn't be more impressed. When he came out to quote on the job Paul listened to what I wanted and explained the different options, without pressurising me at all. His quote was also very competitive. Knowing that I wanted the job done as soon as possible, Paul moved a few jobs round to fit me in within a couple of weeks and ended up giving up his weekend to do the job. Most importantly, Paul and Will carried out the work to a very high standard, leaving me with a toasty house! Communication was excellent throughout and from the outset Paul kept me informed of how things were progressing and he always turned up when he said he would. Once the boiler was fitted, he took time to make sure I understood how everything worked and explained the aftercare package. It's great to find such a reliable, friendly and trustworthy local trader.... I've already booked Paul to refit my bathroom in the new year.

Paul has done amazing. We've not had proper hot water and no heating for years. We've gone from a combi to a heated water tank which is better for us. And moved the system into the loft. You wouldn't even know they have been. Very clean and tidy. Great communication and help with the thermostat also. Thanks paul. Would recommend 1000% all the way.

At the height of the cold snap on Saturday morning my boiler, about 20 years old, broke down. Paul came out in the afternoon and made a temporary fix. I decided it was time to have a new boiler. Paul and his son Will managed to do this on Thursday. Paul gave a very competitive quote and despite some extra work needed stuck to it.I think this is exceptional service and I recommend both Paul and Will without reservation. John Willcox (Todmorden)
