Woke up to a broken boiler with water leaking from it. Called Micheal and he was over straight away. Considering it was just after Christmas I was so pleased that he came over so early and told me what the problem was. Decided to bite the bullet and buy a new boiler. Was given options and no pressure , and was stunned that Michael installed this on the same day. Huge relief as had plans at home for new year . Will highly recommend doctor plumb and grateful to Michael for coming to the rescue

The issue was that the downstairs toilet had gotten very slow at empting over the years with a gurgling coming sound from the toilet. My suspicion was that the pipes had collapsed under the lawn where it had sunk, hence my procrastination in getting it fixed. I had dug up the lawn to expose the pipe and made an incision for a camera inspection. My first contact with SOS Drainage & Plumbing Ltd was through their online quote enquiry form. They got back to me immediately and suggested they could visit my property that same day as they already had a job in my area that morning. They immediately got to work using high pressure jetting equipment from their purpose built vehicle. After a couple of hours it was very reassuring to see inside the fully intact pipes. The on-screen camera pictures showed the removal of the blockage which was actually ingrowing roots. They were totally removed from the house, all the way into the main sewer some 20 meters away into the road. I highly recommend SOS Drainage & Plumbing Ltd to anyone who may be worried about their similar drainage issues. I would not hesitate to use them again, it was worth every penny. Thank you Tom and colleague for giving us back the use of our downstairs toilet.

I cannot praise the guys at SOS enough- we had a horrible outside drain blockage which was worse than we thought- the guys really went to work on it using everything- even when I thought this might be a challenge or possibly unfixable- they managed to get the rubber cone off and get more access. It needed further drainage cleared from a main drain at neighbours. But ultimately a job well done. Appreciated greatly Tom and family team.

Very good and tidy worker - keeps mess under control even when removing old tiles etc. Knows his stauff and inspires confidence which is not misplaced. Has installed two showers, replaced a toilet and basin, replaced several taps, repaired a toilet cistern, replaced a hot water cylinder (dramatically improving the shower pressure). Really pleased with his work - highly recommended. Also extremely happy with the tilers he uses.

Had a new boiler fitted and all my radiators overhauled with new valves plus a new radiator in my bathroom! Adam and his friend Dan did an amazing job. When I contacted him he took time to listen to my requirements and suggested a boiler to meet my needs, he quoted very quickly and was true to the quote. He arrived 15 mins early on the agreed day and got straight to work. The job was done to an extremely high standard and he tidied up after himself even relaying a carpet that had to be pulled back. I was recommended Slattery Plumbers by a friend - we both live in apartments and have no gas so needed a new electric boiler (not many places install electric boilers). Firstly to deal with a local independent company rather than a big national company makes a huge difference. You are treated so well and when I ring and say its Angie, they know exactly who I am. The lady I spoke to, Bianca, is super efficient as well and we chat away on the phone. Secondly after my quote arrived for the work, I rang and spoke to Bianca regarding a query and within a couple of hours she had come back to me with the answer. I then wished to proceed and in just over a week my new boiler was installed. The chap arrived to install my boiler and it is amazing. Not sure how I have managed for the past few years with my old one. After he had left you literally would not know he had been in my apartment, other than there was my new amazing boiler in all its glory. Would I recommended them? Absolutely 100%. Don't hesitate. They are a wonderful company, very competitively priced and really look after their customers, both before and after. This was my second time using them and will not go anywhere else.

This is a fab firm of plumbers.We had a problem to-day with our combi boiler due to cold weather.A very helpful lady in the office booked the job in for the same day.A heating engineer attended,as promised,at 5.00 p.m.,and completed the necessary repairs.The service we received to-day was quite exceptional.This is an excellent company run by very professional,conscienscious and knowledgeable staff.Very highly recommended.

My landlord sent Duncan as I was having a few troubles . Duncan was so professional and went above and beyond . Gas certificate done and wireless thermostat fitted. Would highly recommend and understood my needs and some issues was causing my daughter with ASD to have meltdowns he totally understood. Had our Viessmann boiler serviced by Phil this afternoon. Friendly guy and took the time to explain everything to me, even after having a nightmare of a job in the morning which over-ran (completely understandable, these things happen and he did apologise). Will certainly use Thompsons in future! Service record and invoice are sent electronically after the job is completed.

Original service by the company was poor. The guy who came to serve us didn't seem like he knew what he was doing at all. Installed our boiler awfully and decided to duct tape it to the wall because the glue/moulding wasn't holding it. He also propped it up with a PVC pole. I complained to the company and left a 1* review. This was picked up the next day by the manager, who came out with the same guy to ensure he fixed his mistakes. The worker and the manager came and refitted the entire boiler and our cupboards back into place all in one sitting. Manager was an incredibly nice, apologetic, and thorough guy. Very happy he came out to sort things out as I was feeling very anxious about the state it was left in previously. Thanks! Now we have hot water again AND our kitchen put back together.
