I made an appointment to have my wash basin taps replaced as 1 had broken. I am v.pleased with the service from John would definitely recommend.

I used the website to book John to replace the taps in my bathroom. He arrived the following day with all the necessary parts and did an excellent job. I wouldn't hesitate in using his services again and recommending him to others.

We had a number of small plumbing jobs after the New Year and contacted John. It was the first time we had used his services and found him very helpful, with a professional, no-nonsense approach to the jobs. The Tameside Handyman has done a few jobs for us: replacing sockets and light switches, replacing the element of an oven and installing an outside light. John was easy to communicate with. He came when he said he would. Everything was very clear and as quoted. Everything was done to a very high standard. When some of the jobs were a bit more complicated than initially thought, John was able to advise on solutions and still get the job done. Gav fitted some skirting board for me and did a great job. there was an awkward section where the floor level changed and he did a really smart job on it. He turned up on time and was polite and friendly throughout. Definitely going to be getting more work from us, and I would 100% recommend

This is the third time Simon has helped me. Previously he has built some furniture. This time he put some mirrors and pictures up and built a gaming chair. He always does an amazing job. He responds really quickly to my queries and is clear on price and the time needed. He is respectful of my home, always tidies as he works and is very calming and methodical. He takes all the stress out of having work done.

Simon did a fantastic job dismantling and reassembling a sizable Ikea wardrobe. He was helpful, respectful, and courteous throughout. All his tools/ boxes/ cases were exceptionally clean and the indoor shoes a nice touch. He also assembled a very large bunk bed, something way beyond the average person’s capability. Highly recommended.

The work was carried out to a very high standard and the price was very reasonable. We also felt comfortable letting Gary have a key to enable him to carry out his work when we were out. Mike did several jobs for me in one day from attaching mirrors, hooks and assembling some beastly flatpack furniture. He spent time in asking the right questions to provide an accurate and competitive quote. He kept in touch over the booking period, provided a clear date and arrival time. Steve did an excellent job completing a range of repairs in the kitchen and bathroom. He also fitted two doors, built a gate and repaired brickwork in the garden. He took real pride in his work and suggested what should be long lasting solutions. It is fantastic to have long list of jobs complete! He was able to come out quickly to give a quote and started work a few days later. The price he charged was fair and good value for money.

I contacted Steve regarding repairs that needed doing on the outside of my property, i was promptly contacted and told what was required and given a quote. Steve came and did all my repairs to a very high standard and even replaced a leaky outside tap. All in very challenging weather! Andy has done various work for us over the last two weeks - all to a very high quality. Starting on the bathroom, he replaced two floor tiles, re-grouted the floor, replaced a broken wall tile on the window bottom, painted the woodwork and replaced two wall cabinets. He then moved on to decorating the spare and main bedrooms, painting the woodwork/walls and making the messy window bottoms look like new. Andy was punctual, always polite and cleaned up after himself every day. He even went out of his way to fix a ceiling light for us, that had a loose wire.
