We have recently had a loft to gable extension on our 1930’s semi and family bathroom refurbishment. We have gone from a 3 bed with separate bathroom and toilet to 5 bed and 2 bath. It was our first major reno project so we were understandably nervous about choosing the right builder - especially given all the horror stories you hear out there. However, I felt compelled to write this review as we had a really wonderful experience with PJ Builders from start to finish and would happily/confidently recommend them to friends and family. We’ve already booked in for further work to be completed over the coming months. Paul and his team are hardworking, honest and reliable. Each of them showed care in our home - even tidying up at the end of each day. We were kept fully informed of what the plan for the day was at the start and end of the day so we knew who was coming and when. They were punctual and professional. Furthermore, they’re all a lovely bunch of people to speak to over a brew. Paul was always on hand via phone and site visits to make sure everything was running smoothly. Any hiccups, snags or issues were raised and rectified every time. Paul was also very patient with us when we kept adding on extras we wanted (e.g. all new internal doors, taking down a porch etc). We’re absolutely delighted with our new loft extension and very pleased that it all came in on budget too! The quality of the finish is wonderful as they have pride in their work. For example; Paul wasn’t happy with the finish on the guttering due to the height of the scaffolding (an issue I doubt I’d have noticed) so he had the chaps redo it until the finish was up to his standard. Overall, it’s been a great experience from beginning to end. For reference, we hired PJ Builders from start to completion and were happy with every stage. Including drawing up the plans. I’ll come back to add some photos once I’ve finished painting & decorating the new rooms. Thank you Paul and team!!!

Really happy with the work that PJ Builders did on our loft conversion. Hard working and diligent, they got through all the work with the minimum of fuss and I was kept up-to-date throughout. Would recommend and would use again.

Best Builders I've worked with in Leeds Yorkshire Cannot recommend Paul and his team enough, very professional. They've placed PFC metal profiles under our sagging kitchen floor. They gave us an expected time scale of when the work would be completed and this was met. very reasonably priced, Would definitely use PJ Building Services again in the future.

Amazing Professional Service From Start to Finish Work Required Chimney Support Gallows Bracket, fit Flashing to window and Repair and install Lintel. I called PJ Builders off chance due to a crazy quote from another building company. PJ Builders were installing a Lift Conversion around the corner from my house and I just called the number on the side of the van. Within 24 hrs they had arranged Building Control and a team of builders to do the required work and the work started less than a week later. We have to thank Paul and his team for their dedication with the support to the customer. I would HIGHLY recommend PJBuilding services for a professional finish and customer satisfaction.

Lee fitted our new wood floor throughout our 2 bed flat. He was very helpful in making sure we knew what we needed before the job started. His standard of work is five stars. He really takes care to make sure the small details look good. Would definitely recommend and use again in the future

Just fab. Lee arrived bang on time and was very personable. He turned our door round and cut it to fit perfectly in place. He was even happy to look at other things round the house that needed doing. His prices for work were very reasonable too. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend Lee's craftsmanship and will definitely use his services again in the future. He takes great pride in his work and ensures it's to a high standard. He advised me all his work is guaranteed and any issues would be resolved (I can't imagine it will be required though). Lee also made great suggestions as I explained the work I wanted completing, this was really helpful.

Lee very expertly modified our new Cotswold Company bathroom shelf cabinet to fit over our shaver point. It looked far better than I envisaged. Lee used a laser level to make sure that the existing screw holes lined up when the shaver point was repositioned! What wonderful attention to detail! Thanks Lee!

Darren has done many jobs for us over the years. He’s responsive and reliable, honest and professional. Always does a great job and I highly recommend him.

I asked Darren to make my old shed watertight again as roof was letting in water. Now its like new again and no problem in the wet weather. I also asked if Darren could attach wooden fence panels to an already existing metal railing fence as didn't want to lose garden or increase cost by adding new posts etc. In a nutshell job was done perfectly and price was good. Would definitely use Darren again.

Darren was extremely quick to respond and actually managed to do the repair the next day! If the weather had been wet he was very clear on the next date he could do the job. Very satisfied and highly recommend!

Darren as completed a lot of work for me over the past 2 years. 5 large jobs lasting weeks at a time, and half a dozen smaller jobs. I wouldn't use anybody else. 100% happy with his service, prices and everything else. He is one of the very rare honest guys who does not take the piss, his completely honest never tries to overcharge or rip you off. I contacted Oliver a weeks ago for my 2 bedroom property that needed full renovation including new floor in the whole property, replastering and painting the whole property, fencing the front and the back garden etc. Oliver arrived on time with his team and within a week the job was all done. Oliver and his team were very friendly, professional and they did an excellent job. After completing the job, they left the property very clean and tidy. Overall am very pleased with the work Oliver has done, great price for such quality work. It was really a good value for money.

Oliver did some painting for me. He came few days after I called him.first day, He advised me Very good. They did all my jobs in one day. I am happy with their work. Oliver and his colleague are very kind and nice people.I would recommend them to everyone.
