Just moved into our new home which was a bit like an 80's sitcom, ceilings were horrendous with artex and badly cracked. We were recommended MJM Plastering by a friend and I'm so glad we used them as they were very friendly and professional throughout. They were clear about what the job entailed, price was on point, left no mess and most importantly did a fantastic job at plastering the ceiling of our living room and main bedroom, Thanks again.

I hired Marcus to remodel my kitchen which involved knocking through an old coal shed and fitting bifold doors. I have never done any major work like this and didn't know where to start. Marcus was brilliant and walked me through every step of the process, from recommending a structural engineer to answering all of my questions. And he didn't complain about the difficult access problems where I live. It was a long project and Marcus and the rest of the team did their best to cause as little disruption as possible and make life as easy as possible, even going as far as to lend me oil radiators when my boiler broke! The team were self-sufficient with their own fridge and kettle but also great company and great to have a chat with! I was so pleased with the work that when they had finished I asked them to install some decking in the garden too. The transformation has improved my quality of life immeasurably. I feel very lucky to have found such great, trustworthy contractors as I know very little about the process and have since heard countless scary anecdotes from friends who had problems with theirs. I have no hesitation in recommending MJM Renovations who helped me create my dream home. Shout out to Ben too whose excellent work ethic and dedication really impressed me.

MJM did a great job on plastering our bedroom and hallway walls. Also used them to board up and cover a hole caused by a leak. Reliable and reasonably priced. Have recommended to friends and family and will use again

MJM Renovations recently completely replastered my new office. Marcus couldn't have been more helpful, and was able to do the work at short notice. When he realised my builder had taken down a bit too much of a supporting wall, he quickly solved the problem by putting up column. I was so impressed with his 'can-do' attitude and felt that nothing was too much trouble for him. The quality of the work was absolutely excellent, significantly better than plastering I have had done in the past by companies other than MJM. I would recommend Marcus and MJM Renovations without reservation, and will definitely use them again.

Amazing! The gentleman came to my house to see what needed doing and he was so friendly and knew exactly what to do. When he did the job, it was very efficient and he left the work area clean and tidy. Had contacted so many people to do the work and no one seemed to want to do it. One chap arranged to do it and never turned up! But Odd Job Heroes were fantastic and willing to do it for me no problems at all! Highly recommend and already have another job I’m wanting them to do :)

Mark arrived within just 5 minutes of the approx. time he said he would arrive. He very quickly realised what the fault was and got straight on with it. He was very thorough. Of course, we won't know for a day or so if his work has resolved the issue, but from his clear explanation of the work he carried we believe all will be well. Mark was very friendly and keen to explain all that he was doing.

Brilliant work by Odd Job Heroes!!! David arrived when he said he would and spent time considering the jobs, before providing an honest assessment of the work and costs involved. The end result being large gas BBQ built, garden fence prepared and then painted (two coats) and log shed roofs made fully waterproof. The invoice arrived promptly and was exactly what we had agreed. Next on the list will be the re-roofing of a large garden shed. Definitely using Odd Job Heroes again !

We had our complete bathroom and en-suite replaced, the workmanship was outstanding, attention to detail superb, nothing was too much trouble. He even sorted out a few other issues we were having while he was here, David is highly recommended..!!

I contacted Andy as I needed 2 TV brackets and a curtain rail putting up. I received a speedy response and having explained what I wanted I received a quote which I found reasonable and a date was given for work to be done. Andy attended as arranged and on time. Work was undertaken and a fab job was done. Andy even cleaned up after doing the work 👌 Definitely in my phone for all future handyman work. I highly recommend. Andy has done various work for us over the last two weeks - all to a very high quality. Starting on the bathroom, he replaced two floor tiles, re-grouted the floor, replaced a broken wall tile on the window bottom, painted the woodwork and replaced two wall cabinets. He then moved on to decorating the spare and main bedrooms, painting the woodwork/walls and making the messy window bottoms look like new. Andy was punctual, always polite and cleaned up after himself every day. He even went out of his way to fix a ceiling light for us, that had a loose wire. We have already booked to have more work done over the coming months. Thanks Andy.
