We have recently had a loft to gable extension on our 1930’s semi and family bathroom refurbishment. We have gone from a 3 bed with separate bathroom and toilet to 5 bed and 2 bath. It was our first major reno project so we were understandably nervous about choosing the right builder - especially given all the horror stories you hear out there. However, I felt compelled to write this review as we had a really wonderful experience with PJ Builders from start to finish and would happily/confidently recommend them to friends and family. We’ve already booked in for further work to be completed over the coming months. Paul and his team are hardworking, honest and reliable. Each of them showed care in our home - even tidying up at the end of each day. We were kept fully informed of what the plan for the day was at the start and end of the day so we knew who was coming and when. They were punctual and professional. Furthermore, they’re all a lovely bunch of people to speak to over a brew. Paul was always on hand via phone and site visits to make sure everything was running smoothly. Any hiccups, snags or issues were raised and rectified every time. Paul was also very patient with us when we kept adding on extras we wanted (e.g. all new internal doors, taking down a porch etc). We’re absolutely delighted with our new loft extension and very pleased that it all came in on budget too! The quality of the finish is wonderful as they have pride in their work. For example; Paul wasn’t happy with the finish on the guttering due to the height of the scaffolding (an issue I doubt I’d have noticed) so he had the chaps redo it until the finish was up to his standard. Overall, it’s been a great experience from beginning to end. For reference, we hired PJ Builders from start to completion and were happy with every stage. Including drawing up the plans. I’ll come back to add some photos once I’ve finished painting & decorating the new rooms. Thank you Paul and team!!!

Best Builders I've worked with in Leeds Yorkshire Cannot recommend Paul and his team enough, very professional. They've placed PFC metal profiles under our sagging kitchen floor. They gave us an expected time scale of when the work would be completed and this was met. very reasonably priced, Would definitely use PJ Building Services again in the future.

Amazing Professional Service From Start to Finish Work Required Chimney Support Gallows Bracket, fit Flashing to window and Repair and install Lintel. I called PJ Builders off chance due to a crazy quote from another building company. PJ Builders were installing a Lift Conversion around the corner from my house and I just called the number on the side of the van. Within 24 hrs they had arranged Building Control and a team of builders to do the required work and the work started less than a week later. We have to thank Paul and his team for their dedication with the support to the customer. I would HIGHLY recommend PJBuilding services for a professional finish and customer satisfaction.

I contacted Steve regarding repairs that needed doing on the outside of my property, i was promptly contacted and told what was required and given a quote. Steve came and did all my repairs to a very high standard and even replaced a leaky outside tap. All in very challenging weather! The wind was howling but he got the job done and left my garden clean and tidy. Thanks very much!

My kitchen floor boards needed replacing and new kitchen units were also needed: Some areas of the floor, adjacent to the kitchen, were becoming dangerous. I needed someone with the ability to recover my floor boards and immediately contacted Property Repair Services. Steve came to take a look at the job and made immediate recommendations. I liked his suggestion of P5 boards, which he showed me while we visited a well-known DIY store. His advise was taken and I was not disappointed. He found great solutions for recovering and repairing a couple of joists, before laying the floor, and treated all of the kitchen floor joists with a chemical solution, protecting them from dry rot, wet rot, woodworm, etc. Then he built-in new kitchen units, which look superb. The workmanship is first class with a smooth professional finish. It’s good to know that companies like PRS exist. I definitely recommend Steve and the team for interior property repairs. Also, in the future, if I have any exterior work I will not hesitate to contact them.

Steve did an amazing job for me again. He rebuilt my back outhouse wall, fitted 2 window sills and did a number of other jobs. He also offered professional advice on the best way to market my house. I really appreciate his professionalism: he did a fantastic job, arrived when he said he would, charged what he said he would and even finished the job ahead-of-schedule because he works so hard. From our first enquiry to replace a bedroom floor, to completion of the work was only a 2 week time span. We found Steve to be fully understanding of the work we needed doing and appreciated his expertise and the alternative suggestions he offered. Darren has done many jobs for us over the years. He’s responsive and reliable, honest and professional. Always does a great job and I highly recommend him.

Darren was extremely quick to respond and actually managed to do the repair the next day! If the weather had been wet he was very clear on the next date he could do the job. Very satisfied and highly recommend!

Darren came to help with some odd jobs like putting up a blind, attaching a lock and putting pictures up. He was super quick, efficient and professional - I was really pleased with what he'd done and wouldn't hesitate to get him back for any future work I need help with.

Darren as completed a lot of work for me over the past 2 years. 5 large jobs lasting weeks at a time, and half a dozen smaller jobs. I wouldn't use anybody else. 100% happy with his service, prices and everything else. Andy has done various work for us over the last two weeks - all to a very high quality. Starting on the bathroom, he replaced two floor tiles, re-grouted the floor, replaced a broken wall tile on the window bottom, painted the woodwork and replaced two wall cabinets. He then moved on to decorating the spare and main bedrooms, painting the woodwork/walls and making the messy window bottoms look like new. Andy was punctual, always polite and cleaned up after himself every day. He even went out of his way to fix a ceiling light for us, that had a loose wire. We have already booked to have more work done over the coming months. Thanks Andy.
