I have got to know this wonderful vets over the last few months as the charity I foster cats with use them. I absolutely cannot fault them, whether an injection, check over, microchip or major operation every single member of staff is polite and friendly. They clearly care a lot about animals and treat each pet with compassion and love. No question or query is ever too much trouble for them and they have helped put my mind at rest as a new cat fosterer. When my plan ends with the vet I use for my own cats comes to an end later in the year, I want to move them to LVC as I know they will be in excellent hands.

I've been taking my cat Bertie since August 2022 as a tiny kitten. He's been there on and off every month for one thing and another since that time, this last 8 months have been hard as he was diagnosed with hip displacia, especially this last week! I cannot thank Katherine his main vet and all the team for all their care, and going the extra mile for him and kindness. If I could give more stars 🌟 I would. Massive thank .. you all deserve it

What an amazing vets. I moved 10 miles away, but I cannot bring myself to change vets. I’ll do the journey every time. I trust all the staff. My dogs live the vets. They come and automatically sit on the scales and sometimes they even get treats. The service and health plan is highly recommended!!!

The vets was immaculate and you were greeted by a lovely fresh smell when entering. Alison on reception couldn't have been more helpful and clearly explained the pet plan we were taking out. She was very knowledgeable and put our minds at rest with our first fur baby. They were all brilliant and made sure our puppy was healthy. You didn't feel rushed and the customer service was outstanding. Would definitely recommend.

Our beautiful Puka has been spayed in Oakwood veterinary surgery. I think it was the best decision we made to bring her exactly to this vet clinic and we was travelling from ls12 area because clinic was recommended to me. We’ve been with Oakwood Vets for well over 15 years and they looked after both our cats that have now sadly passed away. We have nothing but praise for the team. Our cats received expert care for many years and we cannot thank them enough for the compassion shown when our eldest cat passed away earlier this year. We always have a wonderful experience when visiting the vet and we have to come once a month for our cat's injections. You can tell that the vet really cares about animals and the well being of them. He is highly knowledgeable and only prescribes what is really necessary. I wouldn't go to any other vet after bringing our cat to him.

Been dealing with Oakwood Veterinary since 2001, never been disappointed. Dr. Kothari is very professional and very straightforward. He did a major surgery on my Husky in 2016 with which I was very satisfied. Very kind and very reasonably priced. I would recommend them to everyone if they're looking for a professional and reasonable veterinary help.

Lovely Veterinary team. My English is not good, but they always repeat and slow down their speech very patiently, which makes me feel very warm and relaxed， The email communication is very clear, and the charges are transparent and reasonable. After I adopted the cat, I checked all the practices I can find in Leeds. In terms of transportation, price and service, it was the best choice for me. Highly recommend this practice.

Brought my 2 kittens in on Thursday for neutering and spaying and I cannot praise the staff enough. From the reception staff to the surgeon and everyone inbetween we were made to feel cared for and welcome. "I take my dog, Taffy, to Beechwood Vets in Headingley for her annual vaccinations and health checks. The staff are always incredibly thorough, carefully checking everything and explaining any health concerns clearly. When Taffy needed surgery, they gave us an appointment straight away. Today, she had her surgery, and I couldn’t be more impressed. The reception staff and the entire team were so kind, helpful, and understanding. A particularly lovely lady at reception was so compassionate when I was worried and crying—she took the time to calm me down and reassure me, which meant so much. Their calm and caring attitude made Taffy feel at ease too. The surgery went smoothly, and I’m so grateful for the excellent care they provided. I’ve been coming to the Headingley Beechwood Vets since it opened with my cat and they are brilliant with her. She’s usually nervous at the vets but the staff all set her at ease, let her adjust and she gives her blood sample with no bother now. Highly recommend this vets!

Emma & the team have done 2 dentals for my cats Dec & Navy at a fraction of the price my usual vets wanted to charge. Their care has been exceptional. When I had concerns about Navy afterwards Emma phoned me & through chatting to her I realised he just needed longer to get used to not having his canines & also took longer to get over the anaesthetic. I wish i could give more than 5 stars! Absolutely Amazing couldn't recommend these vets enough. I was very anxious taking rocco for neutering and these guys made it a doddle. So lovely and helpful start to finish and his little operation cut is tiny and will be barely noticeable when healed. Wonderful staff in a lovely vets! Thank you guys again!

I called Home Comforts out, as sadly we had to put our elderly dog to sleep, and we wanted her to be at home, Emma at Home Comforts were recommend to us by our regular vet. They were helpful, kind and understanding from the start. Emma came out to and was wonderful so kind and gentle to our old girl. We were happy that she could pass peacefully at home. I would highly recommend Home Comforts, as I know friends and family would too.

The ladies at Home Comforts vets were wonderful with our cat when he had four teeth extracted. You can tell they really cared, they were professional, friendly and the procedure was very reasonably priced. Will definitely book with them again (although hopefully not too soon!).

I couldn't ask for a better , more thorough vet than Emily Legate. The surgery is amazing and the staff are highly knowledgeable and very reasonably priced which is an added bonus but ultimately I use this veterinary surgery because I had a years worth of unsolved issues with my prescious boys ear, in one visit we had swabs taken then discovered he had a deformed ear canal in the offending ear , then he was booked in swiftly for an ear flush under anesthetic, Emily filmed the ear canal and debris in it ,for me to better understand the situation with his ear. I can't praise these guys enough and they have my recommendation to any one who wants caring, thorough up to date and highly trained veterinary care . It's a big thumbs up from me and Roman dog. I wish I could put 10 stars !!

I'd just had a bad experience with another vet practice (not in Otley). I was nervous about trying another after moving, but I couldn't have felt more reassured. The staff were so lovely! I wasn't rushed, the vet went out of their way to make my cat feel comfortable, and gave me lots of great advice. So grateful to have such caring, professional and reasonably priced vet practice nearby who truly put animals before all else. Can't recommend them enough.

The best vets all the family has had the pleasure of using. The prices are very reasonable, ample parking at the side/rear of the surgery. Appointments can be booked in advance and also given same day or within a day or two upon phoning. We have over the years had to use the out of hours service for the dogs and we are always impressed with the high quality of service provided. We are always kept informed if any of the animals have to stop overnight or have been in for day surgery. We would not take our animals anywhere other than cross green vets !

I absolutely love this vet. It's independent and works with the owner to care for their ill animal. It's not just about money. The vets are very nice and the receptionist always books me in very quickly. She also deals with me freaking out over email quite a few times (sorry but thank you). I really love this little vet practice. It's how all vets should be run.

Really appreciated the vet's approach - talking me through all the processes as part of my cat's check up. This was a new vet that I had not met before. My cat was surprisingly friendly and relaxed despite having a jab. The reception staff are always friendly and helpful and I appreciate text reminders for appointments as I have a lot of family commitments to keep track of. If I was to make a recommendation it would be to give an annual update on pet plans and their benefits, annual update on changes in law (eg mandated microchips) and itemised receipts for any transactions. A great experience for my first time at the vets with my kitten. The reception staff were warm and welcoming and the vet was super nice and friendly she handled my kitten very well who was very sassy and naughty. All in all a great place and super easy and convenient.

Excellent vets with great service from both the vet and admin team. Have been my vet of choice for 3 dogs now stretching back over nearly 20 years. Building is easy to reach, sharing an access road with the car wash, but with dedicated parking and a small grass area at the front. Ramp access to the front door is easy to manage for the mobility impared. Inside is clean, bright and airy, with toilets available and a small waiting area, including an area especially for those with smaller pets that is marked as a dog-free zone. Reception / admin staff are polite and helpful, greeting customers warmly and happy to say hello to pets and try to put them at ease. I've never had to wait more than a minute or two before being called into the examination rooms. All of the vets I've seen are equally nice, friendly and cheerful, and empathic towards the animals they're treating. The examination rooms are 'compact', but big enough for the job at hand, clean and tidy. Whenever I've taken my dogs in, the vet has always taken the time to try and treat them as kindly as possible, making sure there's a little treat to be had for each injection taken or for being poked and prodded - but it's little things like letting the dog take a moment to sniff the stethescope before they're checked over that I think makes going to the vet a non-traumatic experience for them. Vets have always been happy to discuss treatment options with me and make recommendations for their care, and the prices seem fair and reasonable in my experience. Strongly recommend.

Always amazing with our Bailey who's a 14 week old miniature dachshund. He doesn't get nervous visiting and they always take good care of him every time we visit! Always quick to see you and easy enough to book appointments. Managed to get one this morning by calling up at 8.30am to see if there were any appointments. Managed to get one at 10am which was amazing. Poor Bailey's anal glands were full and needed to be expressed but the vets took very good care of him.

Once again Abbey House didn't let me down! I've been bringing my pets here for over 30yrs & travel a round trip of 30 miles - I couldn't even think of taking my pets anywhere else! Vets appointments can be traumatic for pets and owners but the staff always make sure everyone is comfortable. When we lost our cat they have offered as much compassion and help as they could. They truly cared for him when he was still alive and when we had to say good bye they were so professional and delicate. All the staff are always very helpful and polite. We’ve never had a problem with accommodating appointments even in emergency situation. Highly recommended vet!

I required an emergency appointment for my gorgeous but very poorly cat. They were the only emergency vets around when we needed one. My boy had to be put down but I was so impressed by the staff's kindness, efficiency, communication and knowledge and understanding that I have now registered my two new furbabies with them and taken the pet care plan.
