It has taken me weeks to write this review because I am devastated by the loss of my Lottie. The time had come to make that awful decision that all pet owners dread. I was told about Charlotte and her home euthanasia service by my own vet and I am just so grateful. Charlotte was wonderful. She handled Lottie so gently, showed my husband and myself such kindness and compassion. She made such a sad situation bearable and I can't thank her enough. I would recommend Charlotte to anyone in the same situation as myself. She took control and organised everything including Lottie's cremation. I will be forever grateful.

Charlotte was very kind, considerate and respectful, she explained the whole procedure, gave us time to say our final goodbyes. She sent us a card with our dogs paw print and nose print on which so thoughtful. We requested an individual cremation and she returned the ashes to us with some beautiful little memories including some fur in a lovely bottle. We have another old dog and when her time comes I will most definitely use Charlotte's services again.

Charlotte made one of the most difficult decisions and experiences we’ve ever had to face much more bearable. We had to say goodbye to our 15 year old springer, Maddie, who was so loved by all in the family. Charlotte was kind, compassionate, responsive and gave us ample time to say goodbye in the most peaceful way possible. We wre referred to Paragon when our diabetic dog Jasper developed cataracts. Jasper is 14 years old but wasn't enjoying life being unable to see. We were given a consultation with James Rushton. He examined Jasper very thoroughly. He explained all the risks and costs of the surgery. We were kept informed at every stage of the process. We can't speak highly enough of Paragon and would highly recommend them.

My little dog is being looked after at Paragon Referrals with the Cardiology team. They have been absolutely amazing every time. I have tried several places before but this place is exceptional. I never feel alone during my little girls difficult journey as I know that she is in the best hands. Paragon Vets especially Chris Linney has done an amazing job doing their magic on my pooch, she had big surgery to help her heart and although it’s a ongoing progress, I wouldn’t have her here today, if it wasn’t for Chris and his team. He has reassured me that she is doing well and what the next steps are and that they are happy with her progress. It’s a long journey.

We travelled almost 60 miles to be greeted by very friendly and welcoming staff. The vet was very knowledgeable and treat our dog with care. We left with the answers that we were looking for with regards to her illness. Would highly recommended this practice.

They took in our exceedingly poorly 4 year old dog. They were so caring, and understanding. Every day we had 2 updates, they were clear and understandable, and really did set our mind at ease. They were easy to contact when needed, and coming from Bolton, we were able to visit quite a way outside of their open hours. Very very happy with them... Our dog? 6 days in ICU, and now back home and recovering...!

The best vets all the family has had the pleasure of using. The prices are very reasonable, ample parking at the side/rear of the surgery. Appointments can be booked in advance and also given same day or within a day or two upon phoning. We have over the years had to use the out of hours service for the dogs and we are always impressed with the high quality of service provided. We are always kept informed if any of the animals have to stop overnight or have been in for day surgery. We would not take our animals anywhere other than cross green vets !

I couldn't ask for a better , more thorough vet than Emily Legate. The surgery is amazing and the staff are highly knowledgeable and very reasonably priced which is an added bonus but ultimately I use this veterinary surgery because I had a years worth of unsolved issues with my prescious boys ear, in one visit we had swabs taken then discovered he had a deformed ear canal in the offending ear , then he was booked in swiftly for an ear flush under anesthetic, Emily filmed the ear canal and debris in it ,for me to better understand the situation with his ear. I can't praise these guys enough and they have my recommendation to any one who wants caring, thorough up to date and highly trained veterinary care . It's a big thumbs up from me and Roman dog. I wish I could put 10 stars !!

I'd just had a bad experience with another vet practice (not in Otley). I was nervous about trying another after moving, but I couldn't have felt more reassured. The staff were so lovely! I wasn't rushed, the vet went out of their way to make my cat feel comfortable, and gave me lots of great advice. So grateful to have such caring, professional and reasonably priced vet practice nearby who truly put animals before all else. Can't recommend them enough.

I absolutely love this vet. It's independent and works with the owner to care for their ill animal. It's not just about money. The vets are very nice and the receptionist always books me in very quickly. She also deals with me freaking out over email quite a few times (sorry but thank you). I really love this little vet practice. It's how all vets should be run.

The staff at this veterinary practice have been fantastic, not in only caring for my dogs, but ensuing a dignified and peaceful end to one of my dogs life. Palmer and Duncan vets have always been very efficient and informative in dealing with our dog Willow a working stock retriever and Sooty and Mittens the young cats. Mittens they saved when she had emergency major surgery after she swallowed a length of sewing cotton that got stuck in her gut. All the staff are very friendly and bubbly. When your pet needs extra care they were good to refer to another practitioner. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

My beloved dog, Max, was only registered at Palmer and Duncan a short time before we had to say goodbye to him on Friday evening, but the patience, care and compassion shown by all staff we met during that time was outstanding. Thank you so much for making such a difficult time that little bit easier for us. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone in Ossett with a pet.

Been using this surgery from the day it opened. The staff in the reception are brilliant, always pleasant and helpful, nothing is a problem for them. Also the Vets are very good, they are kind and care about your pets, they explain everything to you about your pets illness and do everything they can to help. I can recommend them to anyone needing treatment for there pets

I have 2 very difficult cats and a small baby. The staff could not be more helpful. They handle my insurance claims for me and can always be guaranteed to have a smile for us... even as they reach for the plasters lol! I wouldn't trust anyone else with my cats care and can't recommend them highly enough.

Used this vets for years having dogs . Now having lost my last dogs due to old age, now have a cat 17 years old and becoming concerning. The lady vet we saw was absolutely spot on . Listened and discussed the problem which was heartwarming. The lady in question was called iris and was one of the best we have ever seen. Could have gone down the road of blood tests and xrays but at 17 years old is too much. Cats have 9 lives, maybe he's on his ninth.

A very friendly and helpful vets. They took us on when our vet in Dewsbury said they didn’t have enough vets to help us. We rang every vet in the Wakefield area to get Milly her booster and her nails cut under sedation (she won’t let anyone near her paws) and they were all full. Yorkshire Vets said they could help. Really happy with them.

There is always a warm welcome and staff are really cheerful and friendly. The vet was training also on our visit and simply could not have been more professional towards us and our dogs check up and subsequent booster. Excellent service and was talking to the trainee at every part of the examination too. Very professional.

Could not rate more highly. My elderly cat was seen straight away - the receptionist was very compassionate to my obvious distress, and the vet was calm and experienced and able to treat him and clearly explain how to care for him with his medication. He is now starting to get better and I am delighted. Even if there hadn't been such a happy outcome, I feel confident they would have dealt with everything in a gentle manner and done all they could for us. Fabulous vetinary surgery!

We had to take our cat, Nectar, to Holly House out of hours, and the care we received was exceptional. The team was professional, compassionate, and incredibly thorough, which made such a stressful situation a little easier to handle. After waking up to find my 23 year old African Grey very weak and in respiratory distress I rang round trying to find an emergency avian vet appointment. After being advised he needed to go into hospital we made the trip to Holly House. Everybody was amazing, explaining everything, keeping us informed about his progress and the cost at all times. I was happy he was in good hands. He made a rapid recovery and I would like to thank everyone for taking care of him.

My dog Wally was very poorly and we almost lost him with a pneumonia and stomach issue. These are the best vets I've ever been to. Communication was clear/objective, and the caring is in the little things they did, like a nurse running to Tesco to get tuna to get him to eat at least something. Shout out to Francisco, Jenny, Katrina, Cathy, Tom, Dan and the ones I didn't get the name of. Everyone was outstanding.

The staff are really kind and understanding and they are so lovely with my little Jasper. Chantry Vets have been exceptional both with us and our dog from the minute I made my enquiry with them. We met with Lisa who performed a TPLO on our golden retriever. Our consultation was so informative, and I left feeling much less anxious than when I walked in. Leaving our dog with them overnight was not an issue as I knew she was receiving the best care. Every member of staff I’ve spoken to has been lovely and happy to help (especially Storm!), even post procedure if I’ve had any questions or concerns. I cannot recommend them enough.

My dog was so unwell that she was shivering/physically shaking, she had diarrhea, she was whining, and clearly very uncomfortable. The veterinarian very kindly interrupted her lunch break to see my dog more immediately on a Sunday when I rushed her to the hospital. She had high sodium levels, her gut was inflamed and full of gas, she was nauseous, not eating properly and dehydrated. The anti sickness injection, new probiotic, and diet plan have done wonders for her and she’s now out and about again - no whining on the bus because she isn’t nauseous anymore/getting any travel sickness because her gut health is generally better (no more diarrhea or sickness), and she is more focused and has more energy for games and agility. Please avoid communal water bowls folks, as gastroenteritis is going around. Thank you Chantry Vets! ❤️

We never needed to keep coming back what was administered was always good. If You are looking for a place where if need be your pet will get good care, this is the one!
