Alan is a fantasic vet. Front desk are lovley..animals always come first..alan did everything he could to help my dogue de Bordeaux when he was diagnosed with kidney disease. Everyone has a smile and always came to greet rogue and even at the end one of reception staff put me in a private room when I got upset and came and sat and spoke to me..lovley practice lovley people

This is purely the best vets in town. They look after my elderly rag doll Valentino, who had a bad experience at a previous vets. They go the extra mile for him and have kept notes even down to scent cats love and are sure to have it on there hands when they see him. They are so caring and patient with him. I have also just adapted a dog that I found dancing in the traffic, they helped me with checking him over and what to do. They now have him on their records and have welcomed him with open arms that he loves to see them. He is all chipped vaccinated n ready to love life. Thank you all at Westwood Vets, Garforth. Can’t recommend this vet enough. After using beechwood vets which were a total rip off and unfriendly staff we moved my dog to this vets from a recommendation. My dog is very anxious about attending the vets and the vets and staff here are very friendly and have the animals best interests at heart. We took my dog as he had a lump on his chin the vet took a look at it and said it was likely a piece of bone that had grown out and there was no point doing a biopsy as with my dog been anxious he would need sedating- many vets would have said to do the biopsy to get extra money! The best part of all the vets didn’t even charge us for this consultation! That is how you know the vets are good and caring about animals and not out to rip you off!

Lovely, friendly staff. The receptionist are great and helpful as well as the vets who are very knowledgeable in rabbit care- (hard to come by for rabbits) I would highly recommend this vets. When Monty has his injections or checkup or even operation. They always make sure to fully check him over regardless, and inform us of how he is getting on. I can’t fault the vets here and we are glad we signed up.

The staff at this veterinary practice have been fantastic, not in only caring for my dogs, but ensuing a dignified and peaceful end to one of my dogs life. The showed compassion, empathy and love for both myself and my dog in her last moments. I will be forever grateful to them, thank you does not cut it.

My beloved dog, Max, was only registered at Palmer and Duncan a short time before we had to say goodbye to him on Friday evening, but the patience, care and compassion shown by all staff we met during that time was outstanding. Thank you so much for making such a difficult time that little bit easier for us. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone in Ossett with a pet.

Palmer and Duncan vets have always been very efficient and informative in dealing with our dog Willow a working stock retriever and Sooty and Mittens the young cats. Mittens they saved when she had emergency major surgery after she swallowed a length of sewing cotton that got stuck in her gut. All the staff are very friendly and bubbly. When your pet needs extra care they were good to refer to another practitioner. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Been using this surgery from the day it opened. The staff in the reception are brilliant, always pleasant and helpful, nothing is a problem for them. Also the Vets are very good, they are kind and care about your pets, they explain everything to you about your pets illness and do everything they can to help. Amazing veterinary centre. They really care about your pet. I've been to other vets with previous dogs we've had and the first thing that comes out of their mouths is are they insured! Not with Sandbeck. They talk to you like they really care. They take the time to really get to know your pet and give you time to ask questions if you're unsure of anything. Would highly recommend Sandbeck veterinary centre. I live quite a drive away and will not go to anyone else with any pet I own.

I have been using Sandbeck vets for a few years now. They are genuinely the nicest practice I’ve ever had the privilege of using. All the vets are very knowledgeable but super friendly too and the relationship is that of a personal touch. I have dogs with complicated conditions but they strive to always do their absolute best and nothing is ever too much trouble. They go way and beyond and I cannot be more grateful. As a dog owner for a very very long time, I never come away from there feeling that I have been fobbed off. I genuinely and honestly cannot recommend these guys enough!

I couldn't ask for a better , more thorough vet than Emily Legate. The surgery is amazing and the staff are highly knowledgeable and very reasonably priced which is an added bonus but ultimately I use this veterinary surgery because I had a years worth of unsolved issues with my prescious boys ear, in one visit we had swabs taken then discovered he had a deformed ear canal in the offending ear , then he was booked in swiftly for an ear flush under anesthetic, Emily filmed the ear canal and debris in it ,for me to better understand the situation with his ear. I can't praise these guys enough and they have my recommendation to any one who wants caring, thorough up to date and highly trained veterinary care . It's a big thumbs up from me and Roman dog. I wish I could put 10 stars !!

We have been bringing our pets here for years, and we keep using cross green vets. Worming, jabs, and any concerns they have been great.

I absolutely love this vet. It's independent and works with the owner to care for their ill animal. It's not just about money. The vets are very nice and the receptionist always books me in very quickly. She also deals with me freaking out over email quite a few times (sorry but thank you). I really love this little vet practice. It's how all vets should be run.

The best vets all the family has had the pleasure of using. The prices are very reasonable, ample parking at the side/rear of the surgery. Appointments can be booked in advance and also given same day or within a day or two upon phoning. We have over the years had to use the out of hours service for the dogs and we are always impressed with the high quality of service provided. We are always kept informed if any of the animals have to stop overnight or have been in for day surgery. We would not take our animals anywhere other than cross green vets !

They took in our exceedingly poorly 4 year old dog. They were so caring, and understanding. Every day we had 2 updates, they were clear and understandable, and really did set our mind at ease. They were easy to contact when needed, and coming from Bolton, we were able to visit quite a way outside of their open hours. Very very happy with them... Our dog? 6 days in ICU, and now back home and recovering...!

We wre referred to Paragon when our diabetic dog Jasper developed cataracts. Jasper is 14 years old but wasn't enjoying life being unable to see. We were given a consultation with James Rushton. He examined Jasper very thoroughly. He explained all the risks and costs of the surgery. We were kept informed at every stage of the process. We can't speak highly enough of Paragon and would highly recommend them.

My little dog is being looked after at Paragon Referrals with the Cardiology team. They have been absolutely amazing every time. I have tried several places before but this place is exceptional. I never feel alone during my little girls difficult journey as I know that she is in the best hands. Andrea, Sophie and the team at Paragon were superb. When my dog Chloe was suffering an acute gastrointestis and I was at a loss that she would survive, they stepped in and cared for Chloe and bought her through her illness. I was reassured right from the start and felt in safe hands. The hospital is an impressive state of the art facility and the I felt that he we received highly skilled care. Everyone was so kind, to both Chloe and I. I was also supported at home with aftercare and it was a tremendous assistance to be able to speak with the vets on the phone when I needed some help or advise. Couldn’t recommend more, thank you to all the team.

Fantastic vets, really caring and informative. I wouldn't go anywhere else. My dog had a herniated disc and lost the use of his back legs - Greenwood & Brown supported us through his 6 month recovery and he's now back to normal, all thanks to the great care he received.

Absolutely amazing receptionists and vets! After vets 4 pets and jollyes both made errors and caused me distress, Greenwood and Brown slotted me in within an hour, saw my pup, explained all of my concerns, gave her 2nd vaccinations and ive never felt in such good hands. Theyve absolutely got a new customer in me and ill recommend them to anyone.

It was ok to he fair, We both thought we were losing him. But the female veterinarian gave us a tad of hope,and grate!! I still got my boy. He's a tad weaker than normal at minute

Very understanding and none forceful lokenother vets can be. We have a 2 year old and a 13 week old dough de bordeaux (Feb 2025) I know they probably love all the pets that come to see them but they make our two feel so special, even asking if they can take pics and feed them treats. The dogs even like coming here even if it's for injections. The keye family

Excellent place. Friendly staff, responded quickly to emails and through telephone call, appointments booked in advance to accommodate. Staff always willing to help or give an advice. Got puppy a good deal on vaccinations, micro chipping, de worming for bundle. Highly recommend

We took an injured little owl in on Friday, and it was looked after by them . Now, it is in a sanctuary recovering . Will definitely use these vets for any injured animals as 100%care given .

We've got quite a few pets, and over time we needed to take some of our cats and dogs to get checked up or due to any other reasons. Each time the staff was helpful, professional and kind. We never needed to keep coming back what was administered was always good. If You are looking for a place where if need be your pet will get good care, this is the one!

Chantry Vets, Brindley way is a lovely, caring and friendly veterinary hospital. It is scrupulously clean and very well maintained. The staff are really kind and understanding and they are so lovely with my little Jasper. The care received is second to none, they are so helpful and take the time to explain procedures or after care. I would definitely recommend to friends and family!

We couldn’t be happier with Chantry Vets! We went through the fear free clinic in 2022 as Theo was nervous of the vets after previous experiences at another vet practice, Megan is fantastic with him and other staff including reception/vets are all very understanding and kind, we’ve never once felt judged. We now have annual boosters with zero hassle, they even have Bluetooth stethoscopes so I can handle Theo whilst the vet listens, 10/10 and would recommend to anyone wether your pet is nervous or not.

Today I attended medivet Pontefract for the first time with my nine year old spaniel after a bad experience with a neighbouring practice. Our vet was Dr cardos, he was brilliant, honest and very knowledgeable he had Rosie’s wellbeing at the forefront of the appointment. I’m really glad we chose Medivet! Thanks! :)
