Palmer and Duncan vets have always been very efficient and informative in dealing with our dog Willow a working stock retriever and Sooty and Mittens the young cats. Mittens they saved when she had emergency major surgery after she swallowed a length of sewing cotton that got stuck in her gut. All the staff are very friendly and bubbly. When your pet needs extra care they were good to refer to another practitioner. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

After a bad experience with a large veterinary practice we decided our next pet would be cared for by a smaller more personal team. So far we feel more at home with Palmer and Duncan. Angus isn't as impressed as us!

Been using this surgery from the day it opened. The staff in the reception are brilliant, always pleasant and helpful, nothing is a problem for them. Also the Vets are very good, they are kind and care about your pets, they explain everything to you about your pets illness and do everything they can to help. I can recommend them to anyone needing treatment for there pets

The staff at this veterinary practice have been fantastic, not in only caring for my dogs, but ensuing a dignified and peaceful end to one of my dogs life. The showed compassion, empathy and love for both myself and my dog in her last moments. I will be forever grateful to them, thank you does not cut it.

Great practice, helped me to register our cat. They were all really friendly and professional. Even told me that my cat was male, not female. This caused a little laughter. I would recommend this practice 11/10 😺😺😺

Outstanding vet practice, unequalled anywhere. From the initial phone call, to the friendly welcome at the surgery - you really get a feeling of personal customer care. The vet himself, Mr Newbery, is the ultimate professional with an amazing wealth of knowledge over a number of decades, and such a kind demeanour with the animals. I was later speaking with someone in the waiting room, who travels some distance from another county to visit this practice and has done for years. That's the kind of recommendation which speaks volumes.

I have got to know this wonderful vets over the last few months as the charity I foster cats with use them. I absolutely cannot fault them, whether an injection, check over, microchip or major operation every single member of staff is polite and friendly. They clearly care a lot about animals and treat each pet with compassion and love. No question or query is ever too much trouble for them and they have helped put my mind at rest as a new cat fosterer. When my plan ends with the vet I use for my own cats comes to an end later in the year, I want to move them to LVC as I know they will be in excellent hands.

Excellent vets practice. I was introduced to Station House Vets when my 2 former feral kittens were spayed. All staff very professional and caring towards the animals and owners as well. While under anaesthetic they were microchipped. Unfortunately the microchip company insisted I hadn't registered them which was not true, so I called in and practice manager Rachel and nurse Helena very kindly sorted the problem for me. Very pleased I have registered these 2 with this practice.

I just want to let others know how amazing Clare and her team are,on the last day of our holiday, my frenchie Bob had a fit hes never had one before, we rang the vets and clare met us at the practice, clare was brilliant with Bob and with keeping me calm, the care she showed and give Bob was amazing and without it I don't think my fur baby would be alive, I can't thank clare and the team enough for everything they did and the compassion they showed us, you are all angels, Thank you from Jo,Daz and Bob xxx

Living in Northumberland and having an animal emergency on a Sunday afternoon miles away from home I was panicking a bit. I thought about driving the 2.5 hours to my vets but on recommendation was told to try Station House Vets. I am so glad I did…. From speaking to the vet on the phone to walking into the surgery I was put at ease, I knew my dog would be well looked after and he was. He was admitted for the night the vets called with regular updates and I even received a photo message of him. Five star plus service, all the staff from receptionist to nurses to the vets are amazing!!! Highly recommend Station House Vets, so much so he is now registered with them! Thanks you so much!

Excellent vets. One of the small chain of Whitecross vets so has a different feel to one of the larger groups of vets - feels more personal and small practice - like vets from years ago - this is something for them to be proud of. The consultation didn’t feel rushed like I have experienced elsewhere.

Thank you to all the staff at white cross! Whenever i call to enquire about appointments for all the stray cats i help , they have always gone above and beyond to book in (even when i have to rearrange sometimes) without making the kitties feel less important than our own pets. I'd just had a bad experience with another vet practice (not in Otley). I was nervous about trying another after moving, but I couldn't have felt more reassured. The staff were so lovely! I wasn't rushed, the vet went out of their way to make my cat feel comfortable, and gave me lots of great advice. So grateful to have such caring, professional and reasonably priced vet practice nearby who truly put animals before all else. Can't recommend them enough.

The best vets all the family has had the pleasure of using. The prices are very reasonable, ample parking at the side/rear of the surgery. Appointments can be booked in advance and also given same day or within a day or two upon phoning. We have over the years had to use the out of hours service for the dogs and we are always impressed with the high quality of service provided. We are always kept informed if any of the animals have to stop overnight or have been in for day surgery. We would not take our animals anywhere other than cross green vets !

I absolutely love this vet. It's independent and works with the owner to care for their ill animal. It's not just about money. The vets are very nice and the receptionist always books me in very quickly. She also deals with me freaking out over email quite a few times (sorry but thank you). I really love this little vet practice. It's how all vets should be run.

We had to take our cat, Nectar, to Holly House out of hours, and the care we received was exceptional. The team was professional, compassionate, and incredibly thorough, which made such a stressful situation a little easier to handle. They explained everything clearly and treated Nectar with such kindness and respect. It’s reassuring to know that such great care is available when you need it most. I’d highly recommend Holly House for anyone needing out-of-hours vet services. Thank you to the team for everything you did for us and for Nectar!

My dog Wally was very poorly and we almost lost him with a pneumonia and stomach issue. These are the best vets I've ever been to. Communication was clear/objective, and the caring is in the little things they did, like a nurse running to Tesco to get tuna to get him to eat at least something. Shout out to Francisco, Jenny, Katrina, Cathy, Tom, Dan and the ones I didn't get the name of. Everyone was outstanding.

Fantastic vets, really caring and informative. I wouldn't go anywhere else. My dog had a herniated disc and lost the use of his back legs - Greenwood & Brown supported us through his 6 month recovery and he's now back to normal, all thanks to the great care he received.

Absolutely amazing receptionists and vets! After vets 4 pets and jollyes both made errors and caused me distress, Greenwood and Brown slotted me in within an hour, saw my pup, explained all of my concerns, gave her 2nd vaccinations and ive never felt in such good hands. Theyve absolutely got a new customer in me and ill recommend them to anyone.

We recently took our dog, Cleo, to see Badr and we couldn’t be more grateful for the care and attention she received. Cleo can be quite anxious at the vet, but from the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was calm, and the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. It was clear they genuinely care about animals and understand the importance of making them feel safe. Badr went above and beyond to make Cleo feel at ease, taking time to gain her trust before starting the examination. They spoke softly to her and let her approach at her own pace. The patience and gentle approach worked wonders; Cleo relaxed in a way we hadn’t seen at previous vet visits. During the treatment, Badr explained each step, which put us at ease as well, knowing she was in skilled hands. Thanks to Badr, Cleo had a positive experience, and we now feel confident bringing her back for future visits. If you’re looking for a vet who is not only knowledgeable but also exceptionally caring and skilled at handling nervous pets, we highly recommend Badr and their team. The best vets, I am so glad my dogs are registered here. They are so lovely and genuinely care for the animals, not just about money. I have been many times now for my dogs Coco and Bruno’s vaccinations and now castrations. The care and service they provide is amazing, from booking them in at reception right through to follow up appointments. The staff are the best and go above and beyond as my dogs are anxious. I never feel rushed at the appointments either. Bruno had his castration today and I explained I was anxious, they said they would call as soon as he was done and I got a call from the nurse before lunchtime. You all work hard and should be proud. My daschund is extremely anxious in the vets, I was thinking they wouldn't get him to cooperate with having his annual vaccines but the vetinary nurse calmed him, he didn't require a muzzle, which is the source of his anxiety, and he did cooperate. I'm grateful that the staff were patient. Thank you.
