Martin from mace 8 has done several plumbing jobs for me - this time installing a hive heating system. He arrives when he says and does what he says efficiently and professionally. I would happily recommend Martin to anyone - a brilliant, friendly professional.

Martin answered my initial call very quickly regarding an issue we’d had from a previous plumbers visit. He was clearly busy but took the time to talk me through what would be needed to help fix the issue which provided me with much needed reassurance! Martin and Harry re-piped our whole heating system as part of a renovation project - loft to garage. Throughout the project they were friendly, professional, tidied up after themselves, on time and always in communication despite us having to push the install dates around due to other work going on. No job was too big or small and Martin solved a lot of legacy heating issues when he uncovered them without hesitation with clear costings. Very happy with the job, costings and communication and would fully recommend Mace8.

Martin & Harry were absolutely brilliant throughout their visits! Initially I had a leak in the kitchen that another plumber didn’t fix - Harry sorted this straight away! I then had a full central heating system fitted & I honestly couldn’t fault them. Martin talked me through everything step by step & was so helpful as this is an expensive fitting!! Heating works perfect & the hot water is ace. Would recommend these guys to anyone & will definitely only ever use these guys for plumbing / heating things! Thanks guys, you were both brilliant x

Josh worked quickly and cleanly for my elderly parents and identified the water leak and damp problems to be rectified. From initial quote through to finished job everything went seamless. We had a complete new bathroom suite, replacement floor, walls back to bare brick, replastered and tiled. Matt & Paul have done a fantastic job of replacing our bathroom suite and retiling the floor and walls, as well as retiling our kitchen floor. I called GPC on a Saturday morning, to ask if they could come out to investigate why my gas fire wouldn't light. They rang back later that afternoon & arranged for their engineer to attend on Thursday afternoon,They did say were busy & gave me a slot of between 3-5. The engineer arrived at 5.30 & apologised for being late but other jobs had taken longer than planned. He tested the gas fire,carried out a test on the chimney breast in the loft, then stripped everything out of the fire & discovered it was covered in rubble & dust & all the jets were blocked. He cleaned everything out of the fire & out of the gas jets,got it all working again, rebuilt it all, carried out another smoke test & was happy that the fire & flue were working as they should. He was very polite,professional & made no mess at all considering how bad it was at back of my fire,he covered the carpet with a large sheet & vacuumed everything up that had come out of the fire. Great service & work carried out. Will be glad to recommend this company to anyone who needs quality workmanship carrying out.

I made contact regarding a new boiler quote, there was no obligation but the cost was super competitive so just over a week later my new Gloworm boiler has arrived. The lads were brilliant, on time, very clean and professional. Ensured my Hive was all set up. My boiler of 22 years packed in. Lee came round the day I rang him and took a look and the advice was to replace it as mine was so old the parts needed were likely to be now obsolete. He did offer to have a look though. He also gave me a quote for a new combi boiler which I was put under no pressure to go ahead with and was given time to think about the quote which was very reasonable and I chose to take this option. One week later, I now have a new combi boiler. Ollie and Jamie arrived on time and fitted my new boiler, taking away the old one and the hot water tank out of the airing cupboard. They were brilliant lads, very professional and very clean and tidy. They also made sure it was all working and connected to my new hive thermostat and that my app for hive on my phone was working to control the new boiler. Couldn’t be happier. House is warm again and the hot water is instant 24/7 and seems to run faster than it did before Thank you so much to everyone. From a first visit to completed installation I couldn’t fault anything and the actual installation only took 7 hours too

A great service from start to finish. I called to book In a boiler service and was greeted by a very helpful lady who explained the different options available to me along with prices. The service was booked in at a convenient time to myself. On the day I received a message to advise when the engineer would arrive. I have used Union Plumbing and Heating for my first time buy on a property. Not knowing where to go, and knowing the boiler had issues, I wanted a service and repairs making. The engineer was really nice and polite and respectful when he attended my property. The pricing was resonable and one of the packages is exactly what I had in mind. The communication with the head office was spot on as well. I'm really pleased with the overall service of the UP&H and I have already recommended to friends and family.

I called union to fix a radiator in my bedroom, it was fixed but stopped working 3 weeks later. Union came back and sorted the problem and fitted a new thermostatic valve. I didn't have to pay anything the second time. I was very happy about this and would reccomend.
