I called Highway Plumbing and Drainage to resolve a blocked drain. They were with me within three hours and resolved the issue quickly. They also checked to see that there were not any potential longer term issues. They were polite and professional, the service was reasonably priced and I would not hesitate to recommend them or use them again.

I had been renovating a flat but unfortunately had an issue with a drain blockage. I was in need of fairly urgent assistance. Alvin was on time, polite and sorted out the problem in a quick and efficient manner. He had all the kit that was required to help clear the drains - with his camera (and some dye I put down the toilet) I could see the drains working again and the problem was resolved. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this excellent (and fairly priced) service.

I contacted Ashley from APV Heating when I needed my boilers servicing and had a few teething issues with the heating temperature when it was turned up in the colder weather (combination of radiators and underfloor heating). Ashley arrived when he said he would and is extremely knowledgable and hard working. The boilers were serviced and the issue between the radiators and underfloor heating was resolved too. Ashley also followed up his visit with a message checking that everything was working as it should be. I would thoroughly recommend APV Heating and I will now use Ashley for my heating services etc going forward.

Ash recently did a landlord gas safety check. He responded quickly and politely. Communication between myself, the tenants and Ash was super easy. He completed the check and issued the certificate promptly. Have already booked him to service the boiler and complete the landlord gas safety check for next year!

If you're looking for a plumber who is totally committed to his client, look no further than Julian. Having a major boiler malfunction ahead of a -1C weather forecast is not to be recommended, but Julian did everything possible to get replacement parts and spent a good part of the day rebuilding the boiler with better quality components. Harrington Heating and Plumbing did a fantastic job renovating a shower room and bathroom in my difficult, originally poorly plumbed Georgian flat. I was told by several plumbing companies that certain things could not be done due to the lay out of my flat, particularly the non removal of the saniflow. Francis overcame this problem (amongst many others) and ran a new waste pipe out of the house, so I now have a fully functioning quiet flushing toilet, without a saniflow!
