Beautiful hotel and room, many Christmas trees at Christmas. Service was not as personable as it should have been, the restaurant in the evening is pricey (especially drinks) but good food. Sadly the open fires were never lit which would have been nice in Winter in December. Breakfast is excellent if you're staying overnight. Great location in the heart of the New Forest.

The quintessential place to stay in the New Forest. Feels like you are right at the heart of everything with beautiful walks guaranteeing pony sighting. The rooms are spotless, beautifully decorated and with a nice homely feel. The bathroom is lovely, clean with all you need including conditioner, all smell lovely. I appreciated not having to unpack my own shampoo/conditioner and soap. Shower had great pressure. Towels were of great size and good quality. The bed was super comfy. The included breakfast offers you a continental option plus several hot ones on a menu. We ordered the Eggs Royale and the Mashed Avocado and both were delicious. Coffee as well. I cannot wait to come back to the New Forest and stay here longer. It was the perfect break in the countryside. Thank you to everyone.

I would thoroughly recommend The White Buck. The food here is delicious and the service was friendly and warm. We stayed overnight in a lovely room and the breakfast buffet was ideal for our needs. We were surrounded by the gorgeous New Forest and the village of Burley is only about a 20 minute walk away. It was the perfect overnight getaway.

We visited here in early March. The hotel was just great, as was the service. We hired bikes in nearly Burley and cycled many of the trails in the forest. The restaurant was great, with a wide choice of meals. We certainly will be returning in the not too distant future.

4 of us have just spent our second stay at the White Buck and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were very helpful and the food delicious. We must especially mention our waitress Elise who was very informative and helpful. Her friendly service helped to make our two evenings in the dining room most enjoyable
