Great country pub the acceptable amount of beer and real ales on tap. Food was great, and the atmosphere very relaxed and staff did there best to accommodate our large dog 🐕 easily recommended!!
Amy whom served us was lovely, the food was really nice, dogs are welcomed, toilets were clean, food wasn't the cheapest but it reflects the quality. I had a burger and the base of the bun was still dry at the end of the meal (ie the burger was not full of fat), the bacon (for me) was underdone but the chef was very happy to make it crispy for me. Definitely recommend.
I can see why is has a good reputation for their Sunday carvery. Don't want to shout too loud in case we can't get in there again because it's too busy! The beef was cooked to perfection, still pink in the middle. We spent a weekend in the area and visited this pub every day, with our dog, who was made to feel very welcome. Lovely pub, great food and great staff.
