Popped in with my mother for a lovely pub style steak ciabatta.. well got a lovely bit of steak with a plastic bag melted onto it (fake American cheese). Where was the lovely cheddar? The red onion chutney? Katie Prices baps have seen more butter than that ciabatta.. don't even get me started on the side salad.. saw a couple snails hanging on the plant pot next to me watering at the mouth. If you order here.. I hope you like rocket and ummm only rocket all by itself! Fire the chef or send him to culinary school.. not the pub grub I was looking for 😘 Such a shame because the venue and atmosphere were stunning. The food let it down massively!
In for late drinks and always made to feel welcome by the staff... But then we're not the type to cause trouble. It's a friendly pub, the food isn't too notch cuisine but is overall pretty good... Sometimes a little stingy on the chips with a burger.
Lovely cozy pub in a small town. We stumbled upon it while on a drive. Excellent food at very reasonable prices. Substitutions are allowed in food items. Great deals too. Ample parking.
