A lovely treat. Great environment and the food was delicious.....particularly the prawn starter. The air-con unit did cause a little draft in my neck but was adjusted when asked. The strawberry/coconut cocktail was simply divine!!! Staff were so attentive and lovely. We wish we lived closer!!!

Even while living in London, I always find myself wanting to visit Sorrento every few months. This time, I decided to order a Caesar salad for the first time, wanting to get some vegetables in my meal. I was surprised by the size of the chicken! It was tender and delicious, and the kids loved it too, eating plenty. Since I had a good portion of meat with the salad, I chose a seafood pasta for my main dish. The firm texture of the pasta and the rich sauce paired perfectly, making it an incredibly satisfying dish. At the end, I tried some of the tomato sauce pasta that the kids couldn’t finish, and it was also delicious. Simple pasta dishes really highlight the true essence of great flavors. I heard that some customers come here several times a week—and I can see why. No matter what you order, everything is delicious, making it a place you’d never get tired of visiting!

El Pic was fab and the staff were so attentive and helpful. Our favourite was the pork belly but it was tough to choose. It was all delicious but the stuffed jalapeños and croquettes were delicious too! We will definitely be back.

My partner and I went last night to celebrate, and we had an absolutely wonderful experience. As a vegan, I’d already checked the menu and saw there were a few options for me, but I was thrilled to find that nearly everything on the vegetarian menu could be made vegan! The staff were fantastic – they took the time to walk me through the menu, offering suggestions with an impressive level of knowledge about vegan ingredients that I haven’t encountered at many non-vegan restaurants. The staff were attentive and friendly, stopping by and chatting with us as they passed our table. One standout moment for me was when I asked about vegan wines and they knew exactly which red wines were vegan without having to check, which made me feel so welcomed rather than being an inconvenience. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully prepared, and it really made our anniversary celebration extra special. Overall, we had an amazing dining experience and will absolutely be coming back for every celebration – I can’t recommend this place highly enough!

We held our company christmas meal here on Friday and it was absolutely excellent. The lady that served us (apologies I didn't catch her name) was superb, really attentive and on the ball. Everyone was lovely. There were 12 of us who all ordered a variety of different dishes, all of which were spot on, there were no issues with any of the order and the food was delicious. Thank you for being patient with us all and thank you for making our evening great! We will be back!

Absolutely delicious food, and the best part would be the fantastic staff with their wonderful service and attention to detail. We haven't dined there in nearly 15 years but as chance would have it, myself and my husband had a rare afternoon together in Camberley. Rather than sit disappointed in a noisy and formulaic chain restaurant we managed to book a table on a Saturday at this lovely spot. From the moment we stepped onto the threshold, we were welcome and given a lovely choice of tables. We sat in the outdoor area which was covered and very tidy. Drinks offered straight away and plenty of choice on the menu. Not once did we feel forgotten OR rushed. A fine balance that was absolutely achieved. Delicious food, wonderful service and a fair price for the rare date day. My only gripe would be the loo (beautifully refurbished recently but the lock on the ladies toilet was very jammed and many guests struggled to open it. There was also only one loo so timing was of the essence) If we ever have the chance, we will return! RECOMMENDED!!

Had a lovely birthday meal here our first time here at the sapori di casa great authentic Italian, for starter I had a prawn dish which was to die for and my partner had mushroom bruschetta which was also very tasty, for mains my partner had a wild salmon past dish which was creamy and so tasty, I had wild boar sausage risotto which was lovely but one thing I would suggest that I was going to mention to the waiter Bobby but I did not as I could not fault the flavours, I just would have liked more wild boar sausage as I had 2 tiny pieces in my risotto but apart from that could not fault the dish. They also brought me out a birthday dish dessert and wished me a happy birthday which i thought was top notch on the restaurants part! Great service Great company Great food We will be back :)

This place is amazing! The staff was so welcoming, I felt like I was in 🇮🇹 . It's a bit pricey, but the food is sooo good. You should definitely check it out!

Excellent authentic Italian food and great service to go with it. Really lucky to eat here as I was staying at the adjoining hotel but would definitely come again if passing through.

We visited as a family of 4 today to have the festive menu and wow the food was amazing! All of the dishes had so much flavour and the meat just fell apart. There was also lots of it so it was very filling but well worth every penny. The cheesecake was one of the best I have ever had and I would say this has probably been one of the best meals I've had out in a while. The staff were lovely and attentive and it was just a nice atmosphere. Thank you for an amazing meal, we look forward to coming back in the new year! Merry Christmas to you all

Went for a Christmas meal, have to say one of the nicest meals I’ve had for a long time, all homemade and each course delicious. So refreshing to have a local place that isn’t just a chain menu. Far surpassed any expectations, would throughly recommend, just chained hands too so I hope you go and give it a try !

Came here last week for dinner, amazing food and service. I had the Thai green curry and my partner had the Steak Dianne. Food was delicious as always and huge portions!! Service was quick and the staff were lovely and very accommodating. Bora went above and beyond for us and we had a great evening!

All brilliant here. Lunch , yeh it's just great here, food really good , atmosphere just right , staff awesome, breakfast is also spot on , real ales , this pub is all you need.

We were so happy to find an open place on Sunday evening. The vibe was great and the staff friendly. It was pretty full and busy which is always a good sign. We had 2 courses each with a drink and coffee afterwards and spent abpu 35 Pounds each. It was worth every penny....the food was delicious, beautifully presented and a pretty good sized portion. I'd love to come back....

A fantastic little pub with low ceiling but packed with history and atmosphere. Good selection of beers and food on the menu, and a large outdoor dining area. I would recommend if you are dining indoor on a Friday night to make a reservation. The baked cheese was a great starter, and the fish n chips perfect.

I visited this very nicely decorated pub to celebrate my mum’s birthday. The Roast lamb was absolutely phenomenal, easily in my top 5 best I’ve ever had. The blood orange sorbet was a very unique menu offering, and very very good. Service was also top tier. The place was absolutely rammed with not many front of house staff working, but they handled it perfectly and provided a very high standard of service. I genuinely couldn’t fault this place if I tried 👏

Now *dog friendly*!!! Lovely evening at Heron on the Lake. Busy yet the service was great. The Steak and Stilton pie and Lamb Shepherds Pie was delicious and served promptly. We are visiting in December and the Christmas menu looks lush with new Christmas cocktails too. Great atmosphere.

What a lovely experience! Just had a visit to celebrate my birthday and we all had such a nice time. Our server was so inviting and as helpful as she could be nothing was too much to ask. (I didn’t manage to catch her name but she was fantastic) the manager offered me a free drink as he noticed we was celebrating and he was always happy to stop at our table to make conversation and interact with my two year old daughter. It was a nice change to see management around the restaurant as this is a rare experience in a lot of places these days. The restaurant had a very relaxed atmosphere and the food was delicious. So many great options to choose from on the menu. Perfect evening out and will definitely be returning. Heron on the lake has always been a go to restaurant for us and the recent refurbishment has given it a lovely fresh feel.

Last night I threw a surprise birthday for my wife. Natalie, Megan and Darren were brilliant. Service was great. Organised, BBQ food was tasty and made sure we were properly catered for with all dietary requirements. Atmosphere was great, music and photos were amazing and the decor in the mead hall looked on point. Everyone had such a great time. Really recommend.

I chose Meade Hall for our wedding as it was local to us and we’d actually been to a function there before. Natalie has been absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process, made everything a breeze and I couldn’t have asked for a kinder and more welcoming events manager. On the day the I had the pleasure of Polly, who helped run the day and made sure everything went smoothly. She was so incredible and the venue looked perfect, even better than I had ever envisioned. Staff working our wedding were polite, friendly and professional. The food was on time and delicious! My little boy gave it double thumbs up (the gold standard). I would like to offer personal thank yous to everyone who helped make our wedding so special. Resident DJ Darren was amazing and had us on the dance floor all night. Highly recommend this venue for any celebration, 10/10!!! Love Lucy and Ryan

My experience was fantastic. We had a lamb roast it was amazing. I highly recommend to go .We have had other food there and it's been the same amazing .Staff really nice and nothing is problem for them .lovely family place. Plus thay make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in .Gary the owner very nice indeed .Thankyou for the amazing food and atmosphere.

Me and my family went to the thatched for dinner and it was honestly the best meal we've had out in a long time. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection, I had the new salmon dish and it was amazing 😍. My kids loved their meals, eldest had the corn dogs from the street food menu and said they were delicious and my youngest had chicken nuggets and chips and finished the lot even though the portions were huge and he's a fussy eater. Great atmosphere, the staff were all very friendly and lovely and the prices were very reasonable considering how big the portions are!! Will definitely be going back hopefully on a Sunday to try their roast dinners 🤩

My Sister and I often go to the Thatched Cottage, for a coffee and wine, or a meal. We had a roast today Roast Lamb OMG The veg yum the meat tender crispy toasties. Lovely. We love it there been to events etc busy at particular times . Great car park lovely seeing Gary and the staff. Go there whenever we need friendly faces and a kind word. Well done Thatched Cottage keep it up. X

We checked into the Ely and was pleasantly welcomed by the Lovely and Witty Glynn. Fabulous Lady. Oh my goodness what a fabulous Receptionist she is. Made us laugh from the moment we stepped in the door to the moment we left. Nothing was much trouble for Glynn. She went out of her way to make our stay the BEST EVER. EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH Would very be fitting for Her. What an access to this place. We also met Michelle lovely Lady. The rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed. The food in the Restaurant was lovely as was Breakfast. All of the restaurant Staff were so nice and Friendly, thank you all. The food was unreal and the pub itself was lovely. All the staff were so friendly and helpful! We had Amanda as our server who was extremely kind and attentive. Our group of 6 had a brilliant evening and we’ll definitely be back :)
