Out server Vanessa was so sweet and ensured we got plenty of food and drinks. Per the Chef, try the Pata Negra, and the octopus. We couldn't have been happier with the decision to follow his recommendation. Highly recommend this place. Try this place out if you can get a reservation.

The Barbary is a great place to enjoy a meal with a friend. The staff are very attentive and explained the menu thoroughly. The food was amazing and the chef explained the preparation of each dish, answering all our questions. The wine selection is fun, too, with lots of interesting choices. Would recommend going a few times so you can try everything!

One of the best meals and dining experiences I’ve had across the globe. The vibe of sitting at the counter and watching the chefs at work was immaculate. The food was unparalleled. I’ll come back here every time I visit London. This should be any local or travelers priority when seeking dining in London.

An excellent restaurant serving the best of North African and Mediterranean cuisine. The venue is very intimate with seats around a bar (of sorts) surrounding the chefs and staff as they work their magic. Some highlights were the lamb, the taramasalata style dip and the bread (Jerusalem bagel and naan).

Wonderful restaurant , the staff are lovely the food is gorgeous try something different to what you normally get . support your local businesses they have been our favourite restaurant for many years .

Lovely staff. Very friendly and the food is amazing. Lovely and fresh. Specials night is Thursday and Sunday. You can sit in to eat or take away to enjoy at home.

New Years Eve - family of 4. Great service and lovely, fresh food. As a returning customer recently I don't honestly know why we went elsewhere. £150 for poppadoms, 4 starters, 4 mains and 4 cobra.

By far THE BEAT Indian cusine in the north east. The friendliest staff who remember you when you haven’t visited for a while. The food is SO tasty and huge different varieties of curries. 11/10 you will not be disappointed!

Came here for the pub and ended up staying for classic British pub food. Cocktails were on points and also had the steak meat pie which was divine. It was the special for the night but they also had chicken meat pie on their usual menu. The greens were a bit salty. Also got a side of olives and those were amazing, huge green olives with the perfect crunch. Great place to have some drinks and food!

Charming stay in London for 5 days. Good intimate atmosphere with a staff attentionated to People. Just some quick fixes on the rooms may improve the already nice experience, like efficient flush for toilet, shower that does not drop all night or windows with not broken mechanism.

Me and my fiance came for a Sunday roast and it was superb, food was delicious, staff were attentive and friendly. The whole place gave off such a relaxing and gorgeous vibe, can't wait to come back 11/10!

Ordered the pizza burger, as you can see it comes in this interesting crust which was surprisingly very good. The food was great and nicely priced. Staff were lovely and friendly. Hand cut chips were amazing!!

We took grandkids on Friday 3rd Jan 2025, lunchtime, fabulous food nice clean restaurant, plenty of space busy but very quiet so we could have conversations, 4 meals 3 of which were steak, peppered sauce got a thumbs up from everyone less than £70.00, we will certainly be visiting again.

First time visit. We both tried the 3 course lunchtime menu. Very impressed. Great food. Great value. Generous portions. Will be returning again in the future.

First time in since the new owners took over, very welcoming when we walked in , had fish and chips served with mushy peas and tartar sauce,they were absolutely lovely. We will definitely be back

Absolutely delicious food and friendly staff food is amazing and needs to be tried Battered blk pudding in peppercorn sauce and steak pie with fresh veg and homemade chips also had steamed ginger pudding with custard

Food was pretty decent but the service was great, very helpful staff with a good sense of humour for an evening out with persons on a holiday break. Sadly not a lot of atmosphere as just happened to be a quiet evening, but we enjoyed it thoroughly.

In for food for the first time really enjoyed it. Had cornbeef pie and wife had paramo was welcome by friendly welcome staff. Will be back

Food is really nice, the lasagna is delicious, good portion and reasonably priced. Service is good, staff are really polite and attentive. The only thing I think spoils the place is some of the tables look shabby.

We went for Christmas day dinner and it was lovely. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The service was great. Went for Sunday lunch, and it was pricey, but everyone enjoyed it. Good portion size.

Four of us went for a meal here. The service was fabulous. Nothing was too much effort. The food here was the best that I have ever had in a pub style eatery. The menu has something for everyone. From squid, game, steaks, pies and decent vegetable options. I can’t speak for their deserts as no one on my table ordered any. The food portions were good. I couldn’t finish all of mine. Every one else on my table had a clean plate. They asked if anyone had any type of allergies. I have never been asked this before in a pub. If you get a chance to go I would definitely go again. Good value for money.

Very pleasantly surprised by the food. Very tasty, and not at all like a typical pub chain experience. The menu has some imaginative dishes. The vegetarian garden plate was absolutely yummy, and I'm not a vegetarian! My husband's sea bass was delicious. Service too with a smile and humour.

Arrived and checked in the Premier Inn and tried to book a table online, unsuccessfully. Needn't have worried, they had availability and made us feel very welcome. Absolutely fantastic meal at Toby Carvery in Washington! The meat was cooked to perfection, with a great selection of juicy roasts. The veg was fresh and plentiful, and the Yorkshire puddings were light and fluffy. The friendly staff made the experience even better. I particularly loved the little touch of the cinema light boxes in the entrance reading "THANK YOU FROM TOBY ♥WASHY♥" and "BOOK NOW ★FOR★ CHRISTMAS". Such a fun and festive atmosphere! And I couldn't resist complimenting "Good gravy!" to the server, who hilariously replied, "Oh, thank you. It's just brown and water." Classic Simpsons! Overall, a brilliant carvery experience. We'll definitely be back!

My wife Kath and I took advantage of the Thursday steak night special and the food was excellent. We chose to take the included nice bottle of red wine home with us. The lad behind the bar who greeted us couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful. A good "front of house" gentleman. The staff were friendly and pleasant especially our waitress Erin. Under new ownership the interior has been completely refurbished with lots of space. A slightly more formal restaurant area and a bar area with some comfy chairs. A high standard of food and friendliness that deserves to do well.

We went to the mill house as a last minute decision on Friday. We were greeted at the door and sat at a table straight away, no waiting around. Our drinks order was taken. We weren’t rushed to make a decision on what to eat (there was so much choice) we both went for the bistro steak and then a sticky toffee pudding to share. The steak was one of the best we’ve had 😍 great value for money. The peppercorn sauce was amazing too. Great service. Would definitely recommend and will be back soon.

Went for a Sunday lunch - food was lovely, definitely going back to try something else. Staff were excellent, we were served by Luke and he could not of done more for us. Inside had a warm homely feel with a great atmosphere.

Heard it was under new ownership from this week , used to be our favourite date night pub so we came to try it out . It was fantastic refreshed refurbished and the food was just amazing Good honest pub food but elevated !!! I had feather made of beef and my husband had fish and chips ( the biggest fish he’s ever been served !) It was tasty fresh and service was and friendly . If you loved this pub years ago go back what the new people have done is spot on you won’t be disappointed or out of pocket Really good prices too !!!!
