“Food is DELICIOUS - we went on a Saturday for lunch, and the vegan options did not disappoint. Generous portions and original ingredients. Loved by Don Bourguignon pie. The Not Dog pie is also great. Amazing decor for fans of video games / movies / series. Toilets are Star Wars themed. They have old video games available to play too! Couple of suggestions: Cleanliness - high chair for our child was really dirty, we had to use several baby wipes before we could sit him down in it. Waiters completely ignored him too (which seems to be very common in the UK... but children are people too!) Lots of great paraphernalia but a lot of it looks pretty dusty/dirty! Otherwise, we will be back to try the rest of the menu, thank you 😊”

Josie's
28 Jewry St, Winchester SO23 8SA, UK
Phone: 01962 582690
“After visiting Josie’s in Winchester town centre now on multiple occasions I can assure anyone who goes an outstanding brunch selection! The menu is fantastic, not only are there multiple options for breakfast/all day brunch but everything is very reasonably priced for the quality and portions provided. I’d highly recommend this cafe to anyone looking for a great local brunch spot, I’m not directly for the area but I happily travel for places like this. The location of this particular cafe js slightly out the way of the town centre, however you will find there is normally a 30-45 minute wait time for a table (Approx for 2 people) which does allow plenty of opportunity to enjoy a walk in Winchester town centre while you wait!”

“This place is a hidden gem. We dropped in for an unexpected mid week lunch. Fabulous service, really professional but warm and friendly, nothing too much trouble. Callum is the manager, a great poach from The Ivy in Winchester. Food beautiful, plentiful and piping hot using local ingredients. Contemporary refurbishment of the pub and attached accommodation but pays homage to its period is gorgeous. Asked to see the on site accommodation which are the cottages attached to the pub. They are great value and beautifully refurbished too. Board games, blankets, hot water bottles, biscuits for dogs in the bar all add to the great welcome. The owners have got this spot on and clearly know what they are doing. Can’t recommend this place highly enough!”

Staff were attentive, polite, and very friendly, and the whole atmosphere was lovely! we ordered a mixture of meals from the normal menu, and the daily specials - all of which were truly delicious! my dad particularly enjoyed the venison sausages, and the pulled pork burger I had was to die for! portion sizes were excellent and great value for money, and lots of choices. honestly, couldn’t praise the staff and food highly enough - will certainly be returning, and the kind of place we will tell all our friends about! out of this world!!”
