Been here now two weeks in Row on Sunday! Can’t fault there Yorkie Wraps!! and BBQ wings! Easily my new favourite place too eat out!! Amazing!!! Will definitely be bringing family here soon.

Wow! What a great find, called in for Sunday lunch and it was simply amazing! Succulent roast beef, with the perfect amount of veg! We shared a cheesecake for dessert, which was the best that I’ve had in a very long time! The service was brilliant, and the owner was checking on tables to make sure everyone was happy! I would definitely visit again when in the area!

Hidden in the heart of this little town, we found an absolute gem—small in size but huge in character. The atmosphere? Effortlessly cool and laid-back, the kind of place where time slows down just enough for you to truly enjoy the moment. The chips? Perfection—crispy, golden, and downright addictive. But the real star? Pauline. Her warmth and energy made the experience unforgettable. If you’re ever in town, do yourself a favor and drop by—you won’t regret it.

First time visiting the Hogget and was very impressed. Small cosy place to have great food. Food was amazing, as where the waiting staff, waitress was very friendly and we had a joke over the cheesecake (which was amazing!) Will definitely be back soon!

My husband and I stayed at The Red Lion the weekend before Christmas. We had a wonderful, relaxing, and festive stay. The bedroom was beautifully styled, clean and cosy - it had everything you would need and more, including a coffee machine and robes. The staff were attentive throughout, they went above and beyond to provide us with a good and personal service. We were lucky to enjoy breakfast and dinner at the pub, and all our meals were of excellent quality and tasty. We will certainly be back again, thank you to the team at The Red Lion.

Came for Sunday lunch, meeting family halfway and the red lion is our go to spot. I’m coeliac and their gluten free options are amazing. Pretty much all of the puddings are gluten free. I had an amazing sticky toffee pudding Great gluten free Yorkshire pudding I rarely get this option in pubs ! Staff are great and well trained in allergens. Service is always lovely !

Popped in for lunch. I opted for a rib eye steak that came perfectly medium rare, as requested. Washed down with a pint of London Pride ale. It came with crispy fries, mushroom and a well cooked tomato. My partner chose salmon supreme from the specials board. Chicken supreme is on the main menu. The salmon was perfectly cooked, not over done. The supreme sauce was supremely tasty. The chef certainly knows what they are doing. Warm, friendly service.

We had a great visit to this pub, we've driven past a few times and thought it would be nice to call in. Great old pub with very good food. Will call in again when in the area. The outside area looks great even mid winter.

What an amazing place. The staff and atmosphere is outstanding. The food is incredible and caterers for varying dietary needs. The best gluten free fish and chips we had in a long time. Would definitely recommend and will return.

* dog friendly * I've cycled past this hundreds of times and never registered it before. Wow! What a beautiful pub. Two floors, vaulted ceiling, fireplaces, lovingly restored building. Set on a lovely little pond the Mill House sits on top of a water wheel which you can see from inside the pub. In the summer I bet this place is stunning. Enough about that, the atmosphere, food, service excellent. We had the camembert to start, lamb and pie for mains and banana waffle to finish. Plenty of parking and impressively the menu boasts 6 low alcohol beers and ciders. We've already booked another visit. Might be back again for the dog walk (3rd Saturday). Just off Hook J5 on the M3. Book ahead.

Stayed in my camper here for 3 nights this week after a recommendation from a friend. Food is just what I wanted, simple and beautifully cooked. Food you eat when you’re hungry and cold! And the burning log fire helped with that too! There is a side salad but I asked to not have it when you see pics. Staff were genuinely friendly, I can not rate this place more highly. I will make this a regular visit going forwards. Thanks for the hospitality!

Brilliant evening had here. I ordered pork belly which was all absolutely delicious . The staff are friendly and polite and atmosphere was fab with l lots of laughing, I’d definitely say visit and sit by the toasty fire x. Great place ,

Stopped by on our travels, had a meal and drinks and stayed in our campervan in the carpark (I believe in better weather you can park on the grass). The meals are large portions and the fire was on keeping the place cosy. A few days later we stopped by again on our travels back but arrived too late to eat, luckily they remembered us and let us stop in the carpark again. Will return.

Excellent breakfast. All top quality ingredients, as expected. Cost of drinks were a bit high, we thought. £4.50 for a glass of orange juice. Freshly squeezed and very nice but quickly adds up on the bill. Would highly recommend, though. Would love to visit again and browse the shop, butchers, fish mongers. Shame we are not local

Stopped here twice on Friday once for breakfast and then again for afternoon tea. The food and service were excellent and will define visit again when in the area.

I had breakfast at the farm shop with some friends this morning, and it was such a delightful experience! The place was buzzing with energy, creating a lovely atmosphere that made our meal even more enjoyable. The service was spot-on—friendly and efficient, which is always a plus. Now, let’s talk about the food: it was fantastic! Fresh, flavorful, and just what we needed to start the day. After breakfast, we explored the farm shop, which was charming and stocked with local goodies. We even wrapped up our visit with a fun gin tasting in their spirits room, which was a highlight! Overall, it was a wonderful morning, and I can't recommend this place enough. I’ll definitely be back soon, and I can't wait to share this gem with more friends.

Food at the restaurant was amazing! Service was great, nice and friendly. The food in the shop is overpriced for what it is. Considering it's high-end, you'd expect the products to reflect that. Lots of their products are "ultra processed" - read the labels and you'll see. Shame to see high end products with chemicals in them.

We came for Sunday lunch today. I don't often eat a roast dinner out so I opted for the chicken a la creme, but my boyfriend had the lamb shank roast. My chicken was well cooked and there was a decent portion, but everything was pretty bland. I put a lot of salt and pepper on, but it needed some flavour. It wasn't bad, but not as good as it looked. Boyfriend's lamb was nice. The star of the savoury was the saganaki shrimp starter...yum! I had sticky toffee pudding with custard and homemade biscoff ice cream for pudding and it was fab. I'd go back to try other menu items and more desserts. It is very expensive, but the service was very good.

The minute you walk in the door of this pub you know that someone professionally knows what they are doing. Attention to detail. Proper hospitality, and needless to say - beautifully kept beers, good choice of wines by the glass, attentive friendly service, and good food. Leo and the team are excellent.

Amazing country pub and restaurant with roaring fire on the go. We have just had the most amazing meal there, all freshly cooked, good portion sizes and great value for money. The waitress was very good; friendly and welcoming. A great experience - would really recommend

I now have a new favourite pub. Staff is friendly and professional, food is great and the atmosphere very cosy.

Food was good, although the chicken wing portion is very stingy for the price, mains were nice, good portion size. Friend had bruschetta, which it wasn't.. cherry tomatoes cut in half with basalmic vinegar on ciabatta bread.. My main gripe was the service, it took 20 mins to take our starter order (pub was virtually empty) received them nearly an hour after sitting at the table.. The young ladies serving were polite and friendly.. easily fixed, to make a better experience for next time.

I had a good meal with a traditional prwn cocktail and avocado starter and a halibut fillet sitting on a home made mash potato with asparagus. The criticism would be the small quantity of fish for a 25.95GBP dish.

Called in without booking at 4pm when the restaurant was quiet although the restaurant filled up quickly from 5pm. Had a fantastic experience, lovely authentic Italian food, great service, ice cold Peroni and good wine of which the owner is very knowledgeable. We had the garlic mushrooms in a Gorgonzola, white wine and garlic sauce, Arancini, lasagne with fresh pasta and ciabatta. For dessert, espresso crème brûlée and lime and coconut cheesecake which was awesome. A lovely experience with excellent prompt service from all staff. We will definitely return when we are next in Hampshire.

Second time visiting and it was just as great as the last time. The servers are all very polite and diligent, the food was incredible and atmosphere was very comfortable. Will definitely come again at the next opportunity.

Great attention to detail. Lovely food. Very accommodating to individual taste and food preferences. Amazing recommendations. Whole family had a great experience and food was fantastic. Pizza was delicious. I see why so many people return here as their regular Italian spot. We have now added this as our go to Italian. Thanks to all the staff- great place.

My partner and I had an absolutely stunning dinner last night at El Castello. We were quite a late evening booking on a Sunday and so were the last table in there for a while but at no point did we feel rushed at all. We both had a starter, main and dessert and couldn't find a single thing to fault. I would particularly recommend the Specials Mussels starter and my partner loved his King Prawn starter. We will absolutely be back and have already recommended to friends and family. Thank you!

Very presentable food, but in all honestly, if you’re a spice lover, it doesn’t tick the box. Flavours were plain in the curries without any real kick and some of the food like the Sag Aloo tasted re-heated. It was nevertheless, a pleasant meal with nice Kingfisher bottled beer and the Poppadoms were outstanding. UPDATE 2025 Under new ownership and miles and miles better 👏

Had a takeaway Saturday evening, absolutely fantastic, wasn't sure what to expect with the takeover but I was not disappointed.

About time Odiham had a decent restaurant! Amazing food, served hot and quite clearly fresh! Lovely wine .... what more can you ask for except great service which they also delivered on!

The Bel & Dragon is a great little spot if you’re looking for a laid-back yet stylish place to grab a drink. The vibe is relaxed, with a mix of cozy, rustic charm and modern touches that make it feel both welcoming and a bit special. The staff are friendly and know their stuff, so if you’re not sure what to order, they’ll happily point you in the right direction.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Bel & Dragon in Odiham. The room was characterful but comfortable, and included complimentary extras such as sloe gin and chocolates which were a nice touch. The food at dinner and breakfast was delicious, while the staff were attentive and friendly. We hope to come back!

Stayed 2 nights for a family wedding, end of November 2024. A splendid place. Excellent food & drink. London Pride & Hogsback Tongham Tea, outstanding draught beers. Very comfortable room in the main building, a lovely old building so mind your head! First class pork belly one night and 'wedding breakfast' second night. Brilliant organisation, and perfectly cooked & served. Staff: fabulous. Nothing was too much trouble. Terrific waitress /server, the ever smiling Rosie was a credit to the hotel. Overall a memorable stay.

This is a gem of a hotel. Great service by friendly professional staff. A great team in the kitchen delivering consistent delicious dishes. 10/10
