A superb meal with perfectly cooked calves, liver, and spot on seasoning of the mash and spinach. The Thai fish bon bons were just the right hint of spices, too. Well kept pint of ale and a good wine selection. Really friendly staff who knew what they were doing. Very clean and warm interior, and there's plenty of parking I can't wait to return.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Old House At Home Pub, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. Originally, my wife and i had plans to dine at the Oak room at Tylney hall a nearby 4-star hotel we were staying at, but after finding the atmosphere there uninspiring and the menu rather lackluster, we walked out of the oak room and drove 5 minutes to try The Old House At Home instead. It turned out to be an excellent decision. From the moment we stepped into the pub, we was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The rustic charm and cozy ambiance of the place instantly made us feel at home. Unlike the sterile dining room at the hotel, The Old House At Home was friendly and relaxed vibe. The decor is a charming blend of traditional and modern elements, with wooden beams, and comfortable seating that invites you to settle in and enjoy your meal. The staff at The Old House At Home were friendly, and genuinely seemed to care about providing a great dining experience. They were helpful to recommend dishes and ensured that everything was to our satisfaction. The menu at The Old House At Home is a wonderful mix of classic pub fare and contemporary dishes. Overall, The Old House At Home Country Pub provided an unforgettable dining experience that far surpassed the unexciting offerings of Tylney Hall. The combination of delicious food, welcoming atmosphere, and excellent service makes this pub a true gem. We stayed at Tylney Hall and came here for dinner one evening. A really lovely place to eat with delicious food and great service. We wouldn't hesitate to go again.

Food is unbelievable and the venue is great with friendly staff. I only have the atmosphere 4 stars as it was quiet but that might be because we were the first table to arrive. We will definitely be going back!
