Celebrated my Uncle’s birthday. Brilliant staff and couldn’t do enough. The food was absolutely scrumptious and so tasty. Will visit again that’s for sure especially as we live in Dorset.
Took my Mother in law for a meal. Lovely staff made her feel very welcome. She gets flustered as she has a walker. This was not a problem at all. Amazing high quality food.
Went on Saturday night for a meal. The food we both had was delicious (amazing steak & ale pie) and generous portions. Staff very friendly too. Highly recommend.
Ate a lovely lunch here on Friday shortly after new year. Pub has recently changed hands and we were keen to try out new menu. Food was largely delicious, well prepared and presented. Pie of the moment (steak and onion) was particularly nice. Burgers were good as were chips. Mushroom stroganoff looked great but sauce was a bit bland. Pub was a bit cold so we kept coats on but new secondary glazing should keep it much warmer when heating is on. Will definitely come again. We didn’t stay overnight so can’t comment on the rooms.
Great Valentine's evening. Food was amazing, so big thanks to the chef Jim, the steak was cooked to perfection. Thank you to the Manager Helen who made us feel really welcome and the waiting stuff were so friendly. The location is lovely, in a charming village. We will definitely be back.
