Went here for the first time the other week, wasn't sure what to expect but had seen all the 5* reviews online. The reviews definitely matched our experience. We went for the platter for 2-3 people for £56. This was lovely food and good value for money and was enough between the 2 of us! Staff were lovely and fast service as we went mid week. We will definitely be back and glad this great place is local to us. 🙂

Popped in for a light lunch and had a delightful feast! The lunchtime menu had a great choice and we had a beautiful selection of dishes. The staff were polite and attentive, and our food was served quickly. Will definitely return again.

A really nice place with friendly attentive staff. All the food was great but the lamb meat was out of this word, melt in your mouth tender deliciousness! can't recommend it enough.

What a wonderful experience on my birthday. We have never tried a Turkish restaurant, so on my birthday I suggested we try one out. We chose Yaprak because of the reviews and OMG, we made the best decision! Service was excellent and swift, food was absolutely delicious and we were looked after by Annette, who was a marvellous host! I will visit with some girl friends and definitely with my family again.

Hands down the best fish and chips shop around great portion sizes perfectly cooked and they also do burgers and kebabs

On our last night of our holiday we had fish and chips and chose Holbury fish bar to get them from. Delicious tasty fish, chips were perfect and friendly, helpful staff during these testing times. Thank you.

Ordered lunch special fish and chips for £4.50 (Feb 2023). I wasn’t expecting a huge piece of fish, but the fish was a decent size and freshly fried. Not a huge quantity of chips, but adequate for a lunch special, and very tasty. Definitely will visit again when visiting.

Tonight was my second visit here and it was absolutely wonderful. We travelled far and its 100% worth the drive. The food was freshly made and the servings were very good, the atmosphere was pleasant with the staff so cheerful. We left with full tummy's and a smile on our face and looking forward to going back again, Well worth every single penny 🥰

Birthday meal recommended at Amalfi! Glad we took the recommendation. As soon as we walked in, we were welcomed by the staff. The food was amazing. I had quattro stagioni pizza. (Four season pizza). I have had many of them over the years, but I can honestly say, it was the best Quattro Stagioni Pizza I have had. My wife had a specially made gluten free Antipasto platter. She was absolutely over the moon with it. Service was excellent, helped us choose our wine. Atmosphere was cosy. The table we had was very romantic too. I asked to take a photo to say thank you and they gladly obliged.

Came here the other day with a few friends. First walked into the restaurant and was greeted nicely by the waiters. We started with cheesy garlic bread which was delicious and melted in our mouths. We then followed up with mains which was firstly Gnocchi pesto & muscles and then spaghetti bolognaise. Both pasta was to die for and a great size portions. The desserts came out shortly after due to great service and we were all pleased with the pana cotta and cheesecake. The pana cotta was delightful and we all enjoyed our desserts. The atmosphere was great and brilliant music playing in the background. The best authentic italian restaurant 😄 !

My favourite Italian in Southampton by far !!! Our latest visit was Amazing , Food is always fantastic and the staff go above and beyond to accomodate. My son is in a powerchair, they basically rearranged the restaurant so we could navigate through the doorway 😁 Thanks once again for the delicous food and superb service. The wine was great too 😋

Absolutely fantastic chip shop. Service is always fast and serve with a smile. The cod is fantastic, and as someone that prefers chips slightly more done (not burnt, but with a subtle brown) I am never disappointed with underdone chips. Even with the current cost of living, the chip portions are always generous and well worth the £3.50 I usually get for a medium. Whenever I have to go to another chip shop I am generally disappointed, but that is never the case here!

Impressive. Haddock and Cod fried to order. So hot they had to be allowed to cool down before eating. The shop operates a ticket system and one waits for the order to be cooked. I have not seen this outside of Germany. Thoroughly recommended.

Lovely establishment. I noticed how impeccably clean it is as soon as I walked in. The staff were lovely and polite, made conversation with me while I waited for my food. The food itself was lovely! The chips were cooked beautifully and came in generous portions. My son had nuggets and they were real chicken, big thumbs up! Love that you can get chips in a box too, as we took ours down the road to eat on the beach. Would absolutely recommend this place and will definitely be visiting again!

Cosy and comfortable for a lovely Sunday breakfast with friends. Staff were really friendly and went that extra mile to make us feel welcome. We weren't rushed at all. The food was delicious and very obviously freshly prepared. The fresh apple juice was incredible!! Amazing to see proper fresh apple juice!!! Bagel was exceptionally prepared and bacon was delicious. Halloumi was soft, but well cooked. Ingredients were of high quality. The mex hash side was a lot more than we expected for a side, I reckon this could be a small breakfast by itself rather than hiding away on the sides menu. We did find it quite expensive, especially with the additional service charge that is automatically included. (We were happy to pay though because of the service)

I found this gem by chance looking for a coffee shop, as I don’t live in the area and was giving a friend a lift. It looked inviting from the outside with easy parking and then the staff were very friendly and welcoming inside. I sat in a cosy corner to people-watch and looked at the menu. There were two sides to the menu, a vegetarian/vegan side and a regular side. It was a lovely surprise to find so many vegetarian options and also to find that all the options were available all day. The staff were attentive and my order was taken quickly. I ordered a large latte and the Wild Mushrooms Eggs Benedict with greens and truffle oil. My latte was perfect and large - so many large options are not very large in my experience! My food came quickly, was piping hot and totally delicious. It was all beautifully cooked and full of flavour and I enjoyed every mouthful. There were also some amazing looking and sounding cakes and pastries available, but I managed to resist - just! The whole experience was a joy - and even the toilets were good! I only wish it was closer to where I live, as I would definitely be a regular visitor.

Found this place after a bit of an Internet trawl for bunch and ended up really happy with our choices. Really lovely food with good provenance and friendly service. Can't believe it's so close and we have never been, we'll be back to sample the rest of the menu.

Great food & service in a modest-sized restaurant. Simple interior and furnishings. Just a shame that at the end of the night the chef didn't want to converse or acknowledge my presence. Makes such a difference if the chef checks that everything was okay. Encourages one to return.

First time at the Nook & Cranny and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Food was delicious and well presented. A bit pricier than what we would usually go for but worth the money. Will be back and recommend to others.

Seashells is a real favourite. We booked view of the pier and shore for 6 adults. The specials were impressive. Great staff, well trained and attentive. The steak pie was excellent and my friend loved his fish pie. All served with chips if you want. Their coffee is great. The Baguettes are yummy.

We love seashells wonderful staff attentive and always smiling. Our food tonight was simply delicious, perfectly cooked and presented. The chocolate brownie is heaven on a plate. Love the new decor bright and fresh with lovely firmiliar views over the river. We have never been unhappy with the food or service at Seashells. We went to a Michelin star restaurant for our anniversary a total disaster and said we should of gone to seashells....enough said

We stumbled across this place during a visit to the area. Up the stairs to an open bar area, with dining at the back. Views across the water and a smoking veranda. The staff are friendly and attentive. A small but well put together menu. The food was out promptly and was to a very reasonable standard. The beef burger could have done with a touch more seasoning, but we had no complaints. All round a nice experience. We would definitely come back.

AMAZING! If you have an allergy please come eat here! They don’t have those silly allergy menus but instead their own separate dairy, gluten exc menus so you feel included in the meal instead of being that one person scanning through each item in that silly flip book! Food is also super fresh and tastes 10/10. Constantly changing their menus and have beautiful views if you can grab a window seat!

Great service and drinks. Only issue is the baby changing facilities is only on one side so to change the baby you have to go outside and back in through another door which is a bit of an inconvenience, especially if cold and raining. It's also great that it's dog friendly!

Another great lunch in the New Forest. Friendly welcome followed by lovely food. Generously filled sandwiches cleverly served in individual boxes. Side order of fries in their own box with salt vinegar and sauce sachets. Will return again as new menus arriving in a couple of weeks.

Nice pub if you wanna stop off for a drink in the forest. The food was a let down. Burger was burnt (see picture) and some of the food had no flavour.

My experience is definitely a good experience, I've been bout half a dozen times and tried most of the dishes now, and my favourites aren't, what I usually go for, so it's best to have a stab at another choice if your hungry. Very good choice of fresh crunchy vegetables , ginger/garlic etc which is Number one factor why i live this thai food so much. Also value for money. Meals for one, meals for the family, it just works and its a fabulous change. 👌 Many thanks

Great food, well priced and lovely service

The food absolutely delicious everything was full of flavour and tastes fresh and the service top notch I had the bet yang along with dumplings and skewers and when asking in my naivety does the bet yang come with rice or noodles they said no but gave me a tube of rice anyways I will be going

There is a bit of a wait but it is worth it for this freshly cooked, mouth watering food.
