“I was visiting Winchester from London to visit family for Christmas and had an amazing experience at Turkuaz, atmosphere was just perfect and the service was brilliant - the team couldn’t be more friendly and attentive whist giving us some great food and drink recommendations. Food was delicious and portion sizes were just right, highlight for me was the octopus dish which felt really unique. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!”

“Turtle Bay is always a great vibe, and I’m find the food and drink never fail to deliver great flavours. I’ve been several times over the years and I have always had an enjoyable visit. My recent visit was good, albeit the service was a bit slow and things did take quite some time. The food however was excellent, and I would highly recommend the Jerk Salmon - it was sensational. The cocktails are great, and if you catch them on 2-4-1 they are a bargain. The Reggae Rum Punch is always a winner. If you’re looking for some flavoursome food and good drinks, Turtle Bay is always a great shout.”

“We are staying for the weekend locally and was recommended here from our host. Called for a last minute booking and although fully booked they manage to get us a table in the conservatory. What a quaint space and perfect for us with Christmas decor and low Christmas music playing. Serving mulled wine as well. My party had bangers and mash, paneer wrap, pie of the day (proper pie fully encased with Turkey, ham and leek) and Lamb with dauphinois potatoes. Our plates said it all as they were all cleaned up. Two of us decided to have the lemon cheesecake for desserts and it’s one of the best cheesecakes we’ve had. Food was delicious and nice portion sizes. Highly recommend and will return when we return to Winchester. Enjoy 😊”

“The restaurant is nicely laid out, being open plan, with tables are functional and not flashy and are reasonably well spaced apart. The kitchen is also an integral part of the restaurant, providing fabulous aromas to add to the experience. The menu is not extensive, which to my mind is a good thing. As expected, all of the dishes were nicely presented, with the hot dishes cooked perfectly. The oysters were very fresh and habeen shucked just prior to serving. I ordered the shellfish ragoût for my main dish, which was delicious. The service is as one would expect from a high-end restaurant - our server was really polite and efficient. This wasn't a cheap night out, but I was very happy to pay a premium price and the 12.5% service charge for top-quality food and the attentive staff.”
