Visited Limewood for a glorious afternoon tea. The sandwiches & cakes were amazing. The staff were so friendly and the service was top notch. There was plenty for two but always more is available. The surroundings and atmosphere was lovely.

There is a reason the Lime Wood is a 5* hotel as the service, rooms, food, staff, spa, location, and everything else that comes with it are top-notch. The luxury of prestine service in a superb setting without being pretentious with it. The dress code is relaxed and the added bonus of a luxury spa on site for various treatments.

Just went to have a drink and look around. Staff all so amazingly helpful and pleasant with nothing too much trouble. The duty manager showed us a range of beautifully appointed rooms. Also the spa staff similarly showed us all that they had to offer. Cocktails lovely too

We had an absolutely fabulous stay at Lime Wood enjoying a dinner, bed and breakfast and additionally a mud bath treatment. Whilst the mud bath experience was mildly disappointing the rest of our time at the hotel was utterly sublime. Warm, friendly, slick service, gorgeous rooms, excellent facilities, and probably the nicest meal my wife and I have ever had. We hated to leave and would highly recommend a visit to this gem of a place in the majestic new forest.

The food in that place was authentic and excellent as was the service by Anton. Would definitely recommend a visit.

My 6th time eating here. I can’t stop coming back. Lovely tapas, great service and thoroughly enjoyable!

WOW! why did I not find this restaurant earlier !!?? 45 minute drive but soooo worth it. Every dish packed with flavour. Whether it was the fish the beetroot, chicken , meatballs OMG , just so tasty . Pulpo has joined my top standout restaurants, El Camino Palma , Burnt orange Brighton and Hearth at Heckfield Place. Well done guys , we will be back very soon . Special mention to our server Amelia, who was lovely.

Fantastic lunch with my son on Saturday! First visit and it won’t be the last. We drove for an hour to get there and we weren’t disappointed. Our waiter was amazing, friendly, and attentive. We had a lot of dishes and every one was so tasty we couldn’t decide which one we liked best! Can’t wait to go again! Highly recommend this great place. Well done and thank you to all the wonderful staff.

Great to see the Bowman open and fully functional once again. Fantastic friendly and attentive staff. Clutter free and now very clean. Improved range of beers particularly some from the Flower Pots. Outstanding improvements across the board except the food. Early days but there are no specials on the board, always a highlight of the old regime. The base menu is limited and similar to many average pubs put pricing is on the high side. I went for the safe option of a burger and chips £17. Dry and limited in flavour. Disappointing. I love the Bowman and will return. I won’t try the burger again but will try to find something that appeals. I hope they address the food issue otherwise it will simply be a stop off on a walk. That would be a shame.

Unreal roast dinner, me and a mate got the chicken and sirloin roast and both thoroughly enjoyed them. Followed by the unreal “bowman brownie”. And to top it off a perfectly poured pint of Asahi and amazing service, all at an amazing price ! Great pub

Been a long time fan of The Hampshire Bowman and can comfortably say that the new owners have kept the rural independent feel whilst introducing a fresh and vibrant character to the place. The ales are crisp and dogs welcome. My only tip: call ahead! Even weekdays can be surprising busy so best to give them a call.

This place is absolutely stunning. It's such a warming vibe as soon as you walk in. Dwayne was such an amazing host to our visit; his knowledge was an unexpected bonus, to say the least. The food was just incredible, too. Cannot fault a single thing. Will be coming here everything I'm back from London

We had a breakfast today with my husband .Everything was lovely. Hannah was so friendly and welcomed us very warmly. Really impressed by the servise.

I stopped off here with little dog to break up the journey, extremely dog friendly, great selection of no alcohol beers including Guinness. Very quaint and old pub with lots of spaces and friendly staff. I was in between meals so only wanted a snack; the mini steak and ale pie was delicious and the mini cottage brochettes out of this world !!

We had a delicious Sunday meal here. Slow roast rib of beef and vegetables. Seasonal fruits crumble to follow. Unfortunately, we had eaten too much already. So we were allowed to take it away with us to enjoy later. The staff were very polite and friendly. And we are looking forward to a return visit very soon🤞. Thank you💐

Excellent restaurant. Great choice on the menus. Brilliant friendly staff who actually look like they are enjoying their job. The only thing lacking is a decent real ale on the bar, just like down the road at the Toby, another one in Mitchell and Butlers empire.

Absolutely fantastic experience! Chloe one of the members of staff here was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming – they truly go above and beyond to make you feel at home. The food was simply outstanding! Every dish was fresh, flavourful, and authentic. Chloe also recommended us her personal favourites which certainly did not disappoint!! Highly recommend this place if you’re craving great Mediterranean food with exceptional service. They also offer an amazing 3 courses for 2 people for just £40!! Will certainly be back again!

I loved this place! I went here for my Great Grandmother’s golden anniversary and Ive got to say, AMAZING SERVICE. They had colouring for children, three course meal and great selection of beverages! The staff were also so kind and the toilets were honestly the cleanest bathrooms I've seen. 5 stars, absolutely recommend going here

Our waitress Chloe was excellent. The food and value for money was very good but they did not have my first choice of risotto with cod. The carbonara was very tasty and it was an ample portion.

We have visited The Thomas Lord on a few occasions now. It’s always our go to place to eat when in the area. Such a lovely pub in a lovely area. We have been all different times of the year and the food and service never disappoint. The Sunday roasts are amazing!! We recently visited again and had the pleasure of meeting Zoe and Nicole who are working there at the moment. Such lovely girls and an asset to the pub. All the staff are friendly with just the right amount of interaction they don’t rush you at all as we have found in some places. We have never stayed here but we will try it one day and i am sure it won’t disappoint. Wish it was our local!! 😊

Beautiful accommodation in a stunning village with a very warm welcome. Perfect stop after travelling over from France to recharge have a great night sleep followed by an excellent breakfast the next morning to set us up for our onward journey. Yvonne and Paula were so attentive and made sure we had everything at breakfast.

Came along for the food and because its part of Lords cricket ground. There were six of us, 4 adults and 2 children and we were all happy with the food and service. The food was nice and the Chicken Kiev was fabulous. Great homemade food at a lovely location.

Called in for a late lunch. We enjoyed a large pizza between us and a very tasty desert, plus drinks. It's a little bit pricey compared to other places. The restaurants location with the wonderful views, a quality up market restaurant with a great chef anf kitchen, kind efficient staff, make this a wonderful place to go for a special occasion or just because...

Had a celebration meal with family on Christmas Eve. We booked last minute so were out in the tented area which was very pretty and warm enough with the heaters. It was busy and had a nice atmosphere with friendly staff. Loved the menu and every dish was beautifully presented. You could pay a lot more for similar in other places. Service was slower paced but we never felt ignored, we like to chat and take our time so it suited us. Felt relaxed but still somewhere you could dress up for an occasion. We enjoyed ourselves so much we were the last to leave!

I took my mum here for afternoon tea yesterday. Excellent. We had a lovely table overlooking the Needles. Even had a tablecloth, which you rarely see nowadays. Staff were brilliant. Very attentive. Food delicious. Highly recommend Pebble Beach. My husband and I go there often and are lucky enough to live just an 8 minute drive away. Met Mike, the owner, as we were leaving. Very pleasant, as are all the staff. Looking forward to our next visit. 😀 Shirley Martin

Always enjoy a bite to eat at Toby carvery, the atmosphere is calm! Our server tonight was a lovely lady, her name was Nicole. She made our visit very pleasant and easy Hope we get her the next time! The food was lovely and affordable! Will definitely be coming back due to the kindness of our waitress

I recently visited Toby Carvery, and while the food was as delicious as always, what truly made the experience exceptional was our server, Nicole. From the moment we arrived, she greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel so welcome. Her attentiveness and friendly personality really stood out—she went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, making the entire meal even more enjoyable. Nicole’s service was impeccable; she was quick, efficient, and had the perfect balance of professionalism and warmth. She even took the time to chat with us, making us feel like valued guests rather than just another table. It’s rare to find such genuine and dedicated staff, and Nicole is an absolute credit to the team. If you’re heading to Toby Carvery, I highly recommend asking for Nicole—you won’t be disappointed! She truly made our visit special, and we’ll definitely be back again soon. Five stars all the way!

Love coming here, the atmosphere is amazing. Our server tonight was a bubbly young lady her name was Ellie, she always makes you feel welcome to the place. Hope we get her the next time we go.

Had our Christmas meal here, food was delicious and the service was great :)

We booked a table for five people. Three of us had steak which was cooked perfectly. The desserts were delicious!! Lucy looked after us very well. Nothing was too much trouble!! The service was fantastic!

Lovely pub, full of atmosphere and really old (grade 2 listed with parts from 16th century) we had perfectly cooked sirloin steaks. Ladies in heels beware, the paving between the car park and entrance has some missing pointing with deep gaps, enough to either wreck your shoes or test your ability to resist gravity if it's dark or you aren't watching where you walk. Lovely pub, masses of parking although no disabled parking bays to be found (although there may be one which is almost faded out so hard to be sure) which is a shame and they could certainly add a couple more as if you are disabled the walk across the car park would be too far for most.

What a gorgeous little hidden gem of a traditional style country pub! Stopped off on the way home. The staff were lovely and friendly, and the food arrived quite quickly too! Nice sized portions and tasted delicious.
