Can't recommend enough. My rabbit had an abscess and needed surgery, unfortunately, they couldn't remove it all and a month later her leg needed to be amputated. As my rabbit was feisty I couldn't do the post-surgery care by myself and they boarded her and took amazing care of her and let her husbun stay with her for emotional support for free. I am devastated that I moved out and need to change vets as I doubt I will find someone as gentle and professional for my fur babies.

These guys saved me when my regular vet got very Shifty. They are great with rabbits and always a pleasure to deal with, i never feel like I'm being pressured into spending more money or having expensive tests done, it all feels genuinely in the interest of the animals. Would 150% recommend

Really thorough veterinary examination for my sick ferret. The vet is clearly an expert in exotic species and they go all out to do the best for your pet. Where most vets would just offer antibiotics for a chest infection, Matthew offered lots of diagnostic tests to rule out something more serious and even did some dental work while the ferret was unconscious anyway. If you don't have insurance and just want your pet to be treated asap for a reasonable cost, this is not the vet for you as it's really expensive. However if you want human-level healthcare for an exotic pet then 100% this is the place.

Churchill and I saw Matthew this morning he took the time to answer my questions listened to me and then gave clear answers. No hard sell just care and you could clearly see he knew what he was doing. Thank you we will see you next year for our pre winter check 🐢

I have been there since from june coupl of time with my Princess (cat). The very first time Dani who treat my Princess he is kind, he is look after my Princess very carefully, and explaning every treatment for me easy way, all for this I am very greatful. Rebecca She is also kind, she is alway smilling whe I arrive, make me very comfortabel and easy for chating, and She is very helpfull. I will definitely recommend it to everyone. Everyone here is amazing! 10/10, Rebekah and Imogen are THE loveliest nurses that we’ve ever met - actually all of the staff at Goddards have been wonderful. I’m happy that the Barking Branch always look after my 3 pets (Bella, Jeff and Cinnamon) Rebekah is always such a happy and lovely lady to welcome us. Bella absolutely loves Danny! We were very sad when Jose left but Danny has been very kind and helpful, always giving us the best advice and making sure we get the right treatment for our pets! I would 100% recommend coming to this vets!

you can tell the staff really care about each pet that they take on, absolutely amazing service and great staff :) accidentally arrived two hours earlier than my appointment but it was no problem for them, managed to fit me in and send me off within that hour itself

However, Christi let my cat settle and asked informative questions about him. She was so gentle with my cat and done the best examinations for him. Incredible vet - first pet so was a little nervous but the people at Medivet are great! We’ve had Jasper who’s very friendly and insightful, not to mention patient with our pup, so would fully recommend him, but we’ve also seen other vets here and they’ve been equally brilliant! The ladies at reception are great too, always happy to fit us in last minute and v helpful in sending invoices over to our insurance company for us - a 5* service throughout. Would recommend travelling just for your pet to be seen here

Short read: Giuseppe and the medivet team saved our very old dog’s life in a medical emergency with no prior appointment, in the most professional, empathetic and ethical way possible. We’re so grateful. Long read: First thing in the morning I walked in with a very very sick 13.5 year old dog and no appointment. Thankfully there was a cancellation within 10 minutes of us arriving. Giuseppe was so thorough. He said our dog was presenting with clinical signs of possible pyometra. She wasn’t eating, walking, she had a fever and she was in tact. He considered absolutely everything in addition. Our dog had mammary tumours, another large lump on her abdomen, a collapsed trachea, and had been diagnosed with kidney disease earlier in the year. Surgery was the only viable option but also posed a big risk at her age. After finishing the rest of his consultations our dog was scanned and xrayed. The X-ray ruled out further internal tumours but the scan confirmed pyometra. Giuseppe said if we wanted to operate he could do it right away, or we could give antibiotics and wait until tomorrow so we had a little time to think about it. He did everything possible to bring the cost down, including using blood results from a vet we had seen the day before and not repeating them. I was happy for him to repeat them if needed but he insisted. We decided to go ahead immediately, this was a difficult decision. I knew this could be the last time we saw our dog alive but waiting until the next day didn’t make sense knowing how much she was in pain. Giuseppe also said he would try to take off the larger lump on our dog if he had enough skin. By the evening the surgery had been successful, and the good news was the larger lump was a hernia and not cancer. We went in for the final appointment of the evening at 6:45, she was recovering, albeit slowly, but we decided to keep her in overnight at Camberwell. Giuseppe gave us so much time to make the decision, leaving me alone with her to see how she was, he gave me chance to try to stimulate and walk her. The next day he visited her first thing at Camberwell before his consultations at Southwark, calling me in the morning for an update. We kept her in until the afternoon, and by then she was vibrant again. Every single member of the team was kind, reassuring, respectful and professional throughout. You could sense the relief in the room when I collected her. She still has a lot of recovering to do, but she’s already trying to jump around and looking for cuddles and tummy rubs again. I wouldn’t take my pet rats anywhere else other than to the Mead veterinary centre, all the staff are absolutely amazing & the exotic pet vet is simply fantastic. They’re all very understanding

Came in on Sunday due to our miniature dachshund Gracie being in allot of pain with IVDD. She had lost the use of her back legs after a long journey with IVDD having operations and conservative rest. We came to a decision to sadly put her to sleep due to her ongoing battles with pain and paralysis it wasn’t fair on her to keep suffering. Mead are not our usual vet’s but she was in so much pain and discomfort we had to do something that night. The receptionist was very helpful and told me everything we needed to know as we had never gone through this before, and the vet lady was very understanding kind and patient with us especially knowing how sad we were, she let us have as much time with Gracie as we wanted and spoke through everything she was going to do. Was a very emotional day but I cannot thank your veterinary practice enough in helping us with our beloved Gracie whom is no longer in pain, we will miss her very much and will soon be picking up her ashes from yourselves so she can be at our home protecting us when the front door goes with her little growl. I recently joined Mead Veterinary Centre and have had to visit a few times with my dog. The staff are amazing, always fitting me in quickly for both routine and emergency appointments. I’m so glad to have such a caring and reliable vet nearby!

We rushed in last night with our dog monty who decided to eat a marble and became very agitated and ill. The receptionist was so nice and welcoming and gave us lots of reassurance and made us feel it was a safe place for monty! The vets that was on was amazing he was so good and managed to do a miracle and get the ball out of his intestine without surgery. He was so patient and took his time to make the right decision to help monty. 100% recommend this vets as an out of hours emergency will go back if I ever needed to again. Can't thank them enough for helping out boy!

Buddy loves going there.... and that's even after he's had to have some pretty unpleasant procedures so that says a lot! Hi everyone, a few days ago our beloved Alisa have got an operation. We was so disappointed, because we was so wandering about the doctor’s experience on small breeds ( as I know it is more complicated than on a big one). When the nurses realised that our dog is very poorly they was instantly checking her blood and giving further advices. Doctor Debra is a higher qualified doctor with a huge experience and very kind person, we are so happy to see our pet back to life and we owe it to Dr. Debra. Also, I want to say a huge thanks to nurse Elizabeth, she is so passionate about what she is doing, she was so patient to us, explaining and supporting us in that difficult moment. Thank you that you are putting our pets first !
