Really lovely pub and fantastic food The venison suet pudding was outstanding
Lovely pub, came in with our dog and we’re drenched and cold; to be met with a lovely log fire, and great service! Food was absolutely lovely! The chips were some of the best I’ve ever had in my life! Only mistake I made was getting the large ham, eggs and chips! Absolutely huge portion! Well worth the price
Nice older location with a warm, inviting interior. The staff were friendly and were good at chatting. Service was prompt and my food came out quickly. Didn't have time to partake in a full meal but I did enjoy my Whitebait which also was the first time I've tried the dish. It was quite tasty and I definitely would eat it again. Nice location and it was an easy walk. I'd recommend a visit to this pub!
