This is a great English pub, good selection of ale and lager. The menu is good with a special board. We had a steak sandwich and chips, which were excellent, and a classic burger with chips was also very tasty. Highly recommended.
Booked this pub fairly last minute for a large group on a Sunday before Christmas and not having been here before. It turned out great! The staff really looked after us, being attentive and clear but not rushing us. The food was excellent. I had the bbq ribs which were very meaty and tasty. The menu has a really wide selection. Looks like we found a little gem!
Found this place randomly to meet a friend, and very very glad I discovered it. One of those really unique pubs that have bags of character and charm and make you proud to be British. These are the pubs we need to preserve! Yet the food offers a modern twist with amazing pizzas and burgers among other classic dishes. My Silesian burger was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Great. Great. Great.
This pub was rad. Great outdoor seating full of tables and people with their dogs! Cafe lights lit the area at night. We ordered at the bar and sat down, staff will bring your food out. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The food was great i was super excited about the vegan cheese on my pizza. They had many vegan as veggie options on their menu.
