Nice pub. Food was good, but just a little more garnish on the plate would cheer it up a bit. I had the veggie beetburger which was tasty.
Absolutely lovely pub, we stopped on a journey home for some lunch and I had an excellent Fish Finger sandwich. Lovely staff, decent prices and dog friendly with a good car park! Would recommend.
Me and my partner stopped in here on Saturday at 12:30ish for a bite to eat, and what a gem we found. The people were lovely, it was decorated very well and the food was delicious and very filling. We had a sandwich and chips each plus the salad that comes with a sandwich and we were both very full and happy. It was a lucky dip as we were driving home but we both wished it was closer to our house as we would easily re visit every month.
Our small dog was kept on his lead and sat under our table, it’s so cozy that it’s easy to access outdoor space if they need it.
Had a tasty meal on a quiet Saturday lunchtime. Reasonable choice of menu but the specials were good selection and we had tenderloin pork in a mushroom sauce. Friendly staff. Reasonable price.
Lovely pub. Huge outdoor area with seating area, play area and playing field. The waiter was really nice, managing quite a busy lunchtime mainly alone. We ordered the sourdough baguettes which were well presented and came with a lovely side salad and chips. My only grumble was that it was quite cold in the building and I ate with my coat on.
