Lovely new coffee shop. We visited after saying we needed to for a few weeks but the half term easter deal of £2 waffles got us through the door! We sat outside in the sunshine, between us and our friends we got a range of coffees and food. The staff were friendly, chatty and welcoming. We had a transport max two year old who loved watching the lorries, planes and different array of vehicles pass by. Dog friendly and people friendly too!

Have been here twice now.. both times excellent... Breath of fresh air in Gosport to have a welcoming modern feeling approach to coffee and snacks .. Really enjoyed the toasted sandwich...

Our first visit and it's got a lovely selection of cakes and savoury sandwiches or rolls. A lovely cup of tea too. I had a cookie pie which I have heard so much about Ans didn't disappoint

Lovely little cafe / take away, staff are wonderful and really helpful. If they don’t have it and then can make it for you they will ( wraps / rolls etc ) really good selection of cakes. Small, but well worth a visit. Limited seating, but lots of parking, easy access for all and a toilet. I found the pricing to be really competitive too.

Lizz is simply special, the food and service impeccable. We arrived and the restaurant was extremely busy but within 10 minutes we had drinks and munchies on the table. We went for two starters one of which we sent back but the problem rectified in minutes in a very professional manner.The garlic mushrooms were extremely nice and very hot which was fantastic.My wife went for a vegetarian dish which she absolutely loved. I decided on chicken skewers which were done to perfection and the seasoning of the chicken superb. We absolutely loved it. The staff were very polite and attentive even tho it was extremely busy. We loved the experience but some friendly advice book your table in advance. Thank you for such a pleasant evening and beautiful food and it doesn’t break the bank it’s extremely well pitched price wise. The toilets were extremely nice and a lovely bar area to chill. Dinner for Four. Lovely atmosphere. Great service and attentiveness. Quality of the food was excellent. Best lamb Shish I’ve had. The portion sizes were good. Felt suitably full after 3 courses and had 1 drink each. Prices were a little high at £190. Will definitely go again but stick with 2 courses for affordability. Overall the experience was excellent.

This is truly one of the finest restaurants in the area. Despite being open for just three months, the level of service and attentiveness is absolutely exceptional. We visited Lizz restaurant on Saturday evening for the first time since it opened, we have always seen how busy it is when we drive past and I started to see my friends had all visited and every one of them have said it was brilliant. It really is decorated beautifully and to a high standard also, I have visited this place previously for many years and think this restaurant is by far the best move yet. We were greeted but lovely staff and every member from there on was very helpful, friendly and had great service skills. Drinks were served quickly and we didn’t wait long at all before food was served to our table. Everyone on my table was happy with their food as it all tasted fresh, great flavours and all served hot. We were extremely happy with the whole experience and will definitely be back. We all left feeling full and content with a lovely meal out. Advice to book as it was busy but you wouldn’t known as we didn’t wait long at all and the service was no different I think to if we were there and it was empty!

First time order this weekend absolutely amazing food, quick delivery especially for a Saturday night. Milkshakes were good too, rhubarb flavour always a go to as a nice change but will be back for a milky bar one next order! There's so much on the menu we'd like to try so we'll definitely be re-ordering!

This burger has blown away every other burger I've tried in my travels around the country. Everything from the shakes to the fries to the burgers was delicious. They were healthy, tasty, and abundant. Amazing beyond words!

First time order. States on website 4 free wings when spend over £20. Had another saying its when you spend over £30. Need to change the website if that's the case, but they still put the wings in so thanks for that. Chicken was very good and better than a well known chicken restaurant haha. Def be ordering again.

We just placed a big order, nothing was missed and it was all hot. The best burger place in Gosport! It was all so tasty! Big portions. The milkshakes were delicious 😋 will definitely come back soon and recommend to others!

We had our Wedding Reception at Arty’s after getting married at the local Registry Office. We arrived with a small group of our closest family and friends and were welcomed by Amy on arrival. Amy helped us through the entire process and was a dream to deal with. We hired out the function room and it had all been decorated in our colour scheme and set up perfectly! The food was fantastic and atmosphere was great too! Thank you so much Amy & the team!

Great venue for a meal or just a drink. Excellent menu and well priced for its location. Very friendly and welcoming staff and very nice decor, with art available to buy. Views over towards HMS.Victory, the Spinnaker Tower and the nearby Marina. You can also view the passing ferries. Highly recommended for couples, groups and singles...Not certain about families? Well worth a visit, but be aware it's slightly off the beaten track and car parking (unless displaying a disabled persons Blue Badge) appears to be permit holders only.

Awesome food, fast and friendly service, a good range of drinks, a cool location (we could see HMS Price of Wales and the Spinnaker Tower from just outside) and reasonable prices. What on earth else could you want? The salads and pizzas were especially good (and large).

First problem find a parking space! Yes there is 4 hours free parking but there are just a few spaces to the far side of a large resident's car park. From there head to the waterside and you will find the cafe adjacent. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Service was good and fast. We had the dish of the day which was a new to us flavouring but was excellent, as was the baked camembert starter we shared. Desserts 🍨 were tasty. Prices were acceptable.

I was recommended TCT by many local people as having the best Sunday roast in town. I can confirm that they do indeed have a fantastic menu on Sundays, the staff are very friendly, and it was a great experience. It was my Mum's birthday, and they put up a banner and some balloons for her. I cannot recommend this establishment highly enough.

We went here for a Sunday lunch as part of my wife’s birthday celebrations. Really accommodating when making the booking for 8 people. My mother-in-law got in the few minutes early as we had a birthday cake to bring out and they were more than happy to stash it out the back until needed. Amazing Service. We all had 3 courses. All was brought out in a timely manner. Food was freshly cooked and piping hot. Really polite and friendly service throughout. Quite a few of us went for the Sunday Roast - great portion sizes. The Roast Potatoes were the best we’ve had on a long time! Had two kids with us aged 11 and 8 - and both loved their kids meals. Puddings were no exception. The staff brought the cake out with the candles lit, singing happy birthday. Also offered a knife and napkins etc in case we wanted to cut it up for members of our party to take home. Just an amazing experience from start to finish - very grateful to the staff for making it such a memorable birthday meal. Won’t hesitate to return and recommended to others. Thank you to all the brilliant team there.

A traditional English Tavern for a weary traveller needing the comfort of home. This Tavern has a warm welcoming feel, like a hug from your Grandmar. The Tavern is clean, the food and drink are affordable, and the staff are genuinely nice. If you want a craft beer and a funky hipster vibe, this is not for you, and that's okay, Portsmouth will accommodate you.

Wow. Honestly the wait time was short and sweet. The food was incredible especially the prawn toast and shredded chilli beef and the service was so polite and welcoming. 100/10 will definitely being coming back!

Best Chinese I’ve had in years. Ordered egg fried rice, shredded chilli beef, salty chips and seaweed. The beef was crunchy and flavourful, the rice was delicious, chips were crispy and salty, seaweed packed a punch. 10/10. Will be ordering from here in the future!

Popped in for dinner here when visiting family and couldn't recommend it more. The food was delicious (I had fish and chips) and the portion sizes were huge - every table took home doggie bags. For pudding, we shared the cheesecake which was tasty too!

A decent meal, which was obviously freshly cooked. Beautiful location with lots of space indoors and outside. We had the burgers, but the fish dishes being served to others looked amazing. Definitely coming back

We've been here a few times now when visiting The Wife's family. It's a lovely little place that we've often popped to for a coffee or ice-cream but the salad was really nice. It can get busy in there and it doesn't have a toilet but it's well worth the visit.

Very simple but nice hotel. Nothing special but was great staying for a couple of nights. Rooms were very clean had no problem with them and staff were polite. They also have an early breakfast if you prefer to be awake and raring to go around 6. Also had the reception decorated for Halloween which brought me a smile. Great pub for dinner right next to it and an ice rink and Starbucks close by as well. Would go again it was an easy and relaxed stay!!

Stayed here with the wife and kids while visiting relatives in Gosport. To say I was shocked by the level of kindness and hospitality delivered by the here is an understatement, from check in to check out everyone we spoke we extremely helpful, Breakfast was fresh hot and plenty of it. Located next to a leisure centre and ice rink with plenty of shops and parking.. Don't let the outside of the building fool you on arrival (it does look grim) but the team and inside are amazing

About what you'd expect from a chain hotel; clean, functional & quite nice for a few days. The area is quite quiet so you can expect undisturbed sleep, & there are basic 24hr fast food places in walking distance, although it's a bit out of town; nearby pub is nice but was ridiculously busy when we were there. The breakfast cafe is, unfortunately, pretty small, & this is a bit of a pain; a guest in a wheelchair had significant issues getting around it, but the staff were immediately on hand to help them. The staff are the highlight of this branch; very sweet & pleasant to be around.

We came back for a second time because we stayed at this hotel two years ago. We really enjoyed our stay at both times. The breakfast is really good and the hotel crew is very helpful and friendly. The only comment we have about the room is that it would be nice if we could open a window. Besides that everything is great!

Had a wonderful afternoon of Jazz, cocktails & lunch. The venue is lovely with stunning views, food was delicious as were the cocktails and the service is great.

We went on a Saturday evening to celebrate our wedding anniversary. All the staff were incredibly polite and welcoming. The food was superb, very well presented and tasted amazing. We enjoyed a few cocktails as-well which also were great. Salted caramel martini 🍸 was our favourite. Will certainly be going back again for another meal.

Service and atmosphere were fantastic - faultless. However, the starter and mains were VERY small. Closer to what I'd expect from a tasting menu. My husband's lamb could have done with a little more scorching on the outside and needed more seasoning and something else on the plate! A shame as we really couldn't fault the service and setting. The food largely just needs to be more generous! Puddings were great!

We’ve had a fabulous meal at The Lightship. The setting is unique and beautifully presented. We had the steak as a main which was cooked to perfection and very generous in portion size. The food was delicious and all in all it was a very enjoyable meal and stunning venue for a Saturday night out. Highly recommended.

Just back from the most incredible meal on Lee seafront. Roast beef and amazing roast potatoes along with more veggies than you can shake a stick at followed by the most delicious white chocolate and pistachio cheesecake with pistachio ice cream I've ever tasted. If you’re from around the Lee on Solent area I really can’t recommend the Sunday lunches at On The Water highly enough.

THE best roast dinner we've had. All the family agreed! The beef and pork were melt in the mouth and everything else was perfect. And so much. We will definitely be returning! 🤤

Such a wonderful place on the beach. Dog friendly. Lovely interior and beautiful design. I just wanted to have a hot chocolate on my walk. I went in and I was seated, but long minutes passed by and I had to chase an employee to give me the list of the drinks. I mean, come on! I told when I arrived that I would like to have a drink, why the lady couldn't give me the menu withouth chasing her up, when the place wasn't busy at all and there was enough staff on duty. I wasn't impressed how bored and not customer focused the ladies were there. I wasn't that welcomed and I felt like I could just stand up and leave, noone would notice. I wrote this review to give a honest feedback and a chance to improve. The employees should be way much more proactive and welcoming. I liked sitting inside, loved the place, but not the service. There is a kids corner too with books.
