Visited couple weeks ago and was served by young lad jake was very polite. The salt and peppa chicken was to die for food was well presented. Didn't wait long for the food. Will visit again in very near future. Thank you

I stayed here for a one night staycation. Location is great, just off the A3. The stay was WONDERFUL! The room was lovely, with an amazing bathroom, with lots of personal care items. We ate at the pub for dinner and breakfast and both were delightful. We both agreed that the whole stay was such a pleasant surprise and we will aim to stay at more Fullers pubs in the future. Staff were friendly and the room was great!

My mother has stayed at this hotel multiple times when she comes to visit me. The staff are really helpful and friendly especially Sara and Michael, nothing is too much trouble and due to her limited mobility to step in and out of a bath they always ensure she has the same room with an easy access shower. One one occasion where she fell ill with the flu I requested that she was checked on regularly as I was unable to do so and again this was no trouble to them. I cannot recommend this premier inn enough

Had a last minute stay here due to unforseen circumstances, And booked for the wrong day. Receptionist Stuart done everything he possibly could to ensure we had a room. I highly recommend this place. Staff are very friendly and helpful. And rooms are very neat and clean.

Stayed for one night, booking online super easy, I called in the morning to get early check in which was processed. When we arrived Sara greeted me by name and said she was expecting me which was a great touch to make me feel special. Anything we asked for they delivered quickly and with a smile 😁 Would stay again!

Room was fine. Mattress very comfortable so slept well. Cleanliness was top rate, good quality furnishings and bathroom fittings. Nice and quiet location, room had good temperature controls. Great value for the price we paid. Could improve: toilet paper is cheap and nasty (why can't you have rolls - yes I know some people nick them), loo seats need replacing from the looks of two in the rooms we had, TV controls need checking for batteries.

We only come on a Wednesday for the quiz and are made very welcome. Food is all ways great.

Popped in for a drink whilst walking out dog as they are dog friendly. Greeted by friendly staff and management. Very dog friendly and a nice atmosphere inside the pub. We will definitely return.

I wanted to reward myself with a nice roast dinner and I was not disappointed at all! I was greeted when I first arrived by the front of house staff who were very friendly, I was then shown to a table where they were able to accommodate me very quickly without a booking, the inside decor is lovely and clean and the views are great, then to the food, the beef was scrumptious, a lovely amount of veg which was all fresh, and all in all very delicious, the staff throughout ensured I had everything I needed and you could tell they genuinely cared and took pride in there work, Top job everyone, I will not hesitate to return or recommend you guys! Thank you

Just had a pint at The Red Lion in Chalton, and it was a roaring good time! The staff are like pub wizards, magically appearing with perfectly poured pints and a smile. The pub itself is a cozy den, perfect for plotting adventures or just enjoying a laugh with friends. The beer? So good, it could make a lion purr. I tried a local brew that was so refreshing, I felt like I could conquer the world (or at least the pub quiz). The regulars are a friendly bunch, always ready with a joke or a story. If you’re in Chalton and need a pint, The Red Lion is the place to be. Cheers to great times and even better beer!

One of our favourite country pubs to go to, they have a restaurant area and a bar area with plenty of parking and outside seating when the suns out too! The log fire is a beautiful addition to the pub and we love spending afternoons here. The food is delicious, good portions and the wine selection is great. 🩷I recommend the Rose Malbec!

Had a lovely evening meal. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Vegan burger was the best I've ever had, so so tasty. Puddings also delicious.

Unfortunately the pies and Vegan Wellington were off, but a nice meal all the same. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Took note of our dietary requirements and warned where a dish we had selected would not suit. Very helpful after our "accident" with our latte.

What a fantastic place sort of tucked away behind a big long bush . Lovely setting, gardens, interior, toilets ( important) And most of all fantastic food & great friendly service. We couldn’t fault anything. Even had linen napkins & fresh flowers on the tables. It’s all about in the detail and these guys have got it!! Well done ..Will return.. 😊

I’ve ate in on multiple occasions and every time I have been blown away by the quality of the food. The staff are incredibly welcoming and polite. I have also ordered from here and the food came quick and hot and the drinks were perfectly cold, my personal favourite is the bbq, cheese, bacon and chicken nachos. Would highly recommend!!!

It was refreshing to find a new local cafe that isn’t trying to be fancy. Closer to a greasy spoon than something chic. Service was quick and friendly, food was what I expected.

Feed me Seymour have been providing mixed sandwich / savoury platters for our site meetings for several months and they are superb, would definitely recommend.

Had a fantastic breakfast here previously, and also went today for some lunch. Super friendly, relaxed atmosphere, staff are fantastic and the food was perfect! Got a BLT and was easily the best I've had (see pictures for proof that's it's value for money! 🤤)

I really love the food at the Ship and Bell. Small menu done really well. There is something tasty for everyone and very good value. I’ve never had a bad meal there. The home made tagliatelle with mushrooms is so good. The service is perfect. The people are lovely, friendly and welcoming. Go for a meal there, you will be very happy.

I've had my 30th birthday party and my dad's 60th birthday party here, and both occasions were great. The staff are friendly, helpful and great with communication. The buffet food was also lovely on both occasions! I would definitely recommend to have an event here. I come here for some lunches and occasional evening meals, the food is lovely and the staff are a great team! Fletcher is one of the great team members 🙂

Last week 19 of us went to dine at the Ship & Bell in the evening. From the time of booking with Lauren, to arriving at the pub, I had first class communication ref our booking and expectations. On arrival we were welcomed with happy cheerful staff. Lauren said that starters would be served at 19:10 which was very punctual. The food was excellent and very good size portions. We were not rushed between courses either. The staff certainly delivered above and beyond. All of my party have asked me if we can return in the New Year. We will be back. Thank you Lauren and all the Staff.

17 of us went to the Ship and Bell Horndean for an evening meal. I can honestly say the staff are lovely and nothing is too much for them. The food all arrived at the same time which is no mean feat for so many people and was delicious. A super meal at a reasonable price and it's dog friendly. We will certainly be returning. Just remember to sign in your car reg number at the bar so as you don't get a ticket!

Great Sunday lunch Good variety of meat, veg and extras….great service from Ben…very prompt as we arrived just before a number of groups. Only comment - it’s could have been warmer but wasn’t so bd we needed to complain or return for reheating. Pud choice was good too.
