A beautiful hotel and lovely rooms. I got married here in April and stayed in one of the two bed apartments for two nights. The apartments have everything you need if you want to cook and the whole space was to a very good standard with beautiful views of the golf course. The dining facilities and the pool area are lovely (leisure facilities were busy on the weekend). Breakfast has a wide selection of food and staff are very welcoming and attentive. Great for a relaxing break and will certainly be back.

We checked in online via the link provided and arrived before the 3pm checkin to use the gym - room was ready so we where able to get to our room. Gym facilities are very good lots of space and equipment. The spa was busy but staff constantly checked numbers and after a very short wait we entered the spa and pool area steam room sauna hot beds and pool busy but no wait for anything. Free drink voucher to use in either bar and dinner at 7.45 nice relaxed well paced service. Breakfast was good plenty of choice and tasty. Room was excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend a Old Thorns package.

Had a lovely time at Old Thorns for a couples Spa weekend. The Spa itself is very clean and well run, and the facilities are also great from pools to the saunas and steam rooms. The hotel staff are great and the rooms are not bad, despite a bit of damp we noticed. Overall our experience was good, not rating a 5 as we found the Hotel food in the Kings Restaurant to be very bland, underwhelming and very few menu options, specifically dinner. Breakfast was pretty good. In saying that, do try out the sports bar and Oties, a lot more food options but not the cheapest.

Booked for our ten year wedding anniversary and so glad we did! Team were really friendly and accommodating and left us a nice surprise and card in our room on arrival. Food is about normal prices but the portions are big so you definitely get value for money. The area and views were lovely and we chose this hotel specifically for the spa facilities and the location being about an hour or less from all major attractions. Would definitely recommend for couples, had a wonderful anniversary thank you !

Great food and plenty of it! Go out of your way to try out Creative Kitchen at The Shed. Really impressed by the curry goat, tender and incredibly delicious. What's more the portion size is very generous. Couldn't be more satisfied, especially for a very reasonable price. Curry, rice and peas, plantain, coleslaw and two dumplings for £11! Definitely worth checking out. Treat yourself.

Free 2 hour parking. Play park and well-maintained walking gardens and lawns Plenty of clean outdoor and indoor seating with bins nearby. Good, clean, fresh food. A lot of smiles and friendly faces. Ice cream / coffee shop / desserts / noodle bar / sandwich bar / burger bar / sweet shop and a lot more. What more do you want! Pleasantly surprised by The Shed - it’s a great little place for lunch or to take the kids.

Love this place! I'm moving to whistlewood on Saturday. We popped up to see the house Saturday gone, and we went for a drink in the Tap and grabbed food in Issaya. Had a lovely atmosphere. Can't wait to spend more time here with my family.

Consistently great good. My son is a huge fan of a post-swim katsu curry and the kids portions are perfect for him. Service always very friendly too.

Strongly recommend, great food, generous portions and affordable. I had the sweet chilli chicken which was delicious and also tried the Katsu curry which was just as good. Can’t wait to visit again and try some more dishes.

First timer. I ordered a large bowl of spicy chicken and sweet and soure mix with rice. Food is in-between the good and really good, portion was huge. I couldn't finish and I am a 120kg dude. Service is friendly and quick. I will come back.

Had a Massaman curry, my son loved it, the best dish he's ever eater (his words), I had a sweet & sour chicken and it was good too. Friendly service, I definitely recomment this place.

Extremely tasty food. Very clean. Great decor and friendly helpful staff. I'm vegetarian and my girlfriend is vegan and coeliac and we sti felt like we had choice. The staff were extremely helpful with this and their colour coded plate system for allergies put my girlfriend at ease. They also seemed to have an excellent range of drinks. Just called in on the spare of the moment, Monday night is burger night, amazing value, two well presented, well cooked burgers, each with a lovely basket of fries, served with a smile, garlic ciabata starter, washed down with a pint of Guinness (had to on Patrick's night) and a soft drink for the wife, all for under £40. We've eaten here 3 or 4 times and not been disappointed. Lovely friendly atmosphere and made to feel very welcome.

We have lived close by for years and this is our first visit. Dinner with friends. What a lovely pub! Very pleasantly surprised. Taken to a table tucked away in a corner, perfect for catching up with friends we haven’t seen for a while. The menu isn’t extensive but it is a good size, meaning that the chef can concentrate on presentation rather than having to contend with a multitude of dishes. I had the pork belly, it was perfectly presented and very tasty. Others at the table had the pie of the day, chicken and leek, and fish and chips. All good sized portions. Eton mess Sunday for my dessert and local ice cream for the others. Now that we have discovered this little gem so close to home we will be back.

Visited for Brunch on a saturday at 12, £32 per person for food, and unlimited drinks. The food was delicious and the Mimosa's were perfect! The decor inside is so nicely done as well. Cant wait to go back!! Visited again for the Coronation afternoon tea, absolutely lovely at only £16.95 each plus £7 for prosecco!

The food here is fantastic and the portions very generous. Staff were friendly and welcoming. They took into account my dietary requests with ease so I couldn’t fault this place at all. Fantastic!

Went for a 10.15am brunch for the very first time me after a lovely dog walk at Waggoners Wells. Coffee made by Katie was fantastic. Cooked breakfast was delicious using locally sourced produce. Staff were warm and welcoming and made the whole experience a special occasion. Dylan the Springer was welcomed too and personal water bowl provided. We will be back!

So glad they’ve open up in Bordon. Lovely tasty food 🥘 and a good portion sizes. Large menu with good range of vegetarian options. I tend to order online and get a delivery and never had to wait too long. So far haven’t had a bad curry from here.

Had take away on valentines night and they handled the busy night really well. Food was excellent and hot, no complaints from us

6 members of our extended family met at The Half Moon bar and restaurant today. We were served by a very polite and pleasant gentleman. Our meal was delicious and dessert yummy. The Half Moon is located by Petersfield in Hampshire and is an easy venue to reach for our group who lived within a 25-mile radius. Certainly would recommend.

My friends and I came here for a Sunday roast after a walk nearby and loved it. They had very good portions and the prices were reasonable too. Would’ve loved the potatoes to be crispier and the side vegetables to be roasted instead of boiled, otherwise, everything was fine. And they also allowed our dog, which was definitely a plus 😊

Love the food served here. It is always piping hot and served with a friendly demeanor. We did not wait to long for our food either. The waiter was very attentive. Reasonably priced too. Also excellent for a takeaway too

The best lamb chops I've had at an Indian restaurant and the lamb roshan is probably the most delicious Indian meal I've ever had, it's unbelievably tasty!!!

Staff and food are amazing have been going there since i was a young lad and has never failed to produce outstanding food and service the dhanmondi is the best indian around and i highly recomend!!!
