It's changed a bit in the 30 years since I worked there but it's still a popular boozer with a lot of character. It's been modernised and comes across as a bit of a higher end bar, with a good selection of drinks and a nicely covered beer garden so you can sit out whatever the weather. I understand my old boss's daughter runs it now and she learned from the best.
Fantastic old school pub, great atmosphere, friendly staff, best sports pub in Southampton by a mile!!! Fantastic selection of snacks and beers with endless entertainment to fill your entire week or weekend.
Such a fantastic pub, well done Lee and Stella for doing such an amazing job at the Peg - always look forward to calling in whether it's for a quick drink or for an evening of entertainment, keep it up guys!!
Fantastic pub with a fantastic atmosphere ❤️ This is my local I live just across the road & I love having this pub on my doorstep, Jess & the team are fantastic always smiling always happy to serve you & a really nice atmosphere when you walk in. They have a lovely garden which is perfect for sitting in in the summer time & lovely heaters to keep you warm in the winter time. Me & my friends go here for a few drinks & we end up spending the whole evening there and have the best time. The live bands are great & a very pleasant friendly pub. If you haven't been already then please do, you won't regret it.
