18 of us for Sunday lunch. Lunch was outstanding. Really good value home cooked food. Freindly staff managed our huge family party with a hitch Food was all hot. The 3 meat option was Huge.

A traditional English Tavern for a weary traveller needing the comfort of home. This Tavern has a warm welcoming feel, like a hug from your Grandmar. The Tavern is clean, the food and drink are affordable, and the staff are genuinely nice. If you want a craft beer and a funky hipster vibe, this is not for you, and that's okay, Portsmouth will accommodate you.

I was recommended TCT by many local people as having the best Sunday roast in town. I can confirm that they do indeed have a fantastic menu on Sundays, the staff are very friendly, and it was a great experience. It was my Mum's birthday, and they put up a banner and some balloons for her. I cannot recommend this establishment highly enough.

We went here for a Sunday lunch as part of my wife’s birthday celebrations. Really accommodating when making the booking for 8 people. My mother-in-law got in the few minutes early as we had a birthday cake to bring out and they were more than happy to stash it out the back until needed. Amazing Service. We all had 3 courses. All was brought out in a timely manner. Food was freshly cooked and piping hot. Really polite and friendly service throughout. Quite a few of us went for the Sunday Roast - great portion sizes. The Roast Potatoes were the best we’ve had on a long time! Had two kids with us aged 11 and 8 - and both loved their kids meals. Puddings were no exception. The staff brought the cake out with the candles lit, singing happy birthday. Also offered a knife and napkins etc in case we wanted to cut it up for members of our party to take home. Just an amazing experience from start to finish - very grateful to the staff for making it such a memorable birthday meal. Won’t hesitate to return and recommended to others.
