Lovely birthday visit to The Dew Pond. After a very warm welcome by owners Julie and Keith, we enjoyed drinks outside on the decking, overlooking the garden and surrounding greenery. As usual, also enjoyed some delicious cheese straws while perusing the menu. I went for the cheese soufflé, beef and a very refreshing espresso ice cream - perfect way to finish in the warm weather. Service from Marie and Emma was a particular highlight - considerate and professional but giving enough space to enjoy yourself. Would highly recommend at any time of the year but particularly as we come into the warmer weather, it’s a beautiful place to visit.

What an excellent evening. Started with a convivial drink in the salon adjoining our room. Service unobtrusive and efficient plus a wonderful menu of impeccable dishes. Every member of our party was impressed, even the most jaded reviewer...
