Went here for lunch with my family. They're extremely dog friendly and have treats and toys available on a little stand by the door. The staff were lovely and very friendly. We had 2 haddock and chips which were very tasty and 2 ravioli. Overall. Lovely place.
Staff friendly. The main meal wasn't the best. Processed turkey. Brussels hard and roast potatoes undercooked. The bread & butter pudding is extremely tasty. Won't let that put me off coming back tho. That's my opinion.
Beautiful old building, Bar and bedroom areas very clean. Staff on hand to help with any questions and very friendly. We feel very comfortable and our four legged family member ( Lenny) very welcome . look after with fresh water bowl place in bar area for them. Dogs allowed in bar area for you to have evening meals and Breakfast. Thank you for a lovely two day break.Meals all very high quality .
Stayed for a Saturday night in February 2025. Excellent. Newly refurbished with wow factor, still remaining true to its heritage. Room was great, bar, service and breakfast all excellent. Would highly recommend.
