We used Ginger to cater our wedding day and the evening before. Everything was perfect, from initial menu planning with Sally and her team to creating specific individual menu requests, (they were amazingly creative and thoughtful every step of the way), through to a wonderful tasting of multiple options, refining menu choices, always on hand in the months leading up to answer any and all questions we had and to make sure everything was exactly as we wanted, and then bringing it all completely smoothly to life on our wedding day. We had so many guests say it was the best wedding food they’d ever had. The presentation and taste of all of the food was perfect. Can’t recommend Ginger highly enough. Anyone in the process of deciding between caterers, you cannot go wrong with Sally and her team, we wish we could have all the food again!!

Exceptional culinary experience from start to finish! This catering team knocked it out of the park at our wedding. The crab starter was delightful, setting the tone for an unforgettable meal. The beef Wellington was simply the best we've ever tasted - perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. Dessert was a showstopper, leaving our guests raving. Their creativity shone through in the afternoon tea-themed cocktail hour, adding a charming touch to our celebration. The late-night snacks were a hit, keeping the party going with delicious bites. Absolute Perfection! Our October ‘24 wedding at Somerley House was outstanding from start to finish. The food tasting was one of our favorite parts of wedding planning. We felt so spoiled being able to sample so many delicious dishes and desserts. By the end, we were so full that Sally practically had to roll us out the door 😂. On our wedding day, the catering team knocked it out of the park. During cocktail hour, they passed around a variety of hors d’oeuvres, and we received fantastic feedback from our guests. Everyone raved about how great the food was, and the team went above and beyond to accommodate those with allergies, offering thoughtful options for everyone. Many of our guests even mentioned how friendly and personable the staff were, taking the time to chat about all things british culture and getting to know them. A couple staff members even brought a selection of hors d’oeuvres directly to me and Sam (my husband), which was such a thoughtful touch. The wedding breakfast (dinner) was equally flawless. The team expertly managed a variety of dietary needs, including gluten and seafood allergies, without compromising the quality or flavor of the meal. The trio of desserts they served was so incredible that I’m still dreaming about it today! As an American marrying a Brit, we knew it would be challenging to balance two different sets of cultural food expectations.
