“This restaurant came highly recommended by a colleague, so I had to give it a try. My extended family, a group of 20+ adults and kids, booked the restaurant for lunch. Upon arrival, we were given a private section of the restaurant. The service was excellent, and we were served warm bread with white cream sauce and chili sauce, followed by hummus and salad. We chose to order the platters, going for the two meaty feasts and the special. The food arrived piping hot and beautifully presented. The waitstaff checked on us every 5-10 minutes to ensure we had everything we needed. Both the food and the service were outstanding, so I had no hesitation in paying the 10-15% service charge added to the bill. Our total came to just over £300, and it was worth every penny. There are parking spaces available around the restaurant; if you're unsure where to park, just ask the staff, and they will guide you. The only downside was that the toilets didn't have the usual Mediterranean water hose. I would kindly request that a portable bottle be made available. Thank you!”

“The food and staff were incredible. The menu changes every day but we had the lobster ravioli, snails in pastry, the lamb, Guinea fowl and duck. Followed by the apricots and rhubarb desserts. We went with the wine and champagne that was recommended and the barista definitely knew his pairings! I would recommend going at lunch time, as you have a much more relaxed atmosphere and can take your time, as dinner gets a little busy.”

“I can’t say anything bad about this place. The food is fantastic, the cocktails and the ambience. The personal are very kind and friendly. The emplacement is just amazing with Battersea park next to. I come a lot because I work close and it’s really ideal have such a friendly place. The ambience could be very familiar on weekends and I definitely recommend the Sunday roast.”

“What a brilliant hidden gem,l. Just what barking needs. We popped in about 2pm ish on a Saturday, the staff were polite and well mannered. The clientele was just how i like it which was people who appreciate a nice local business and enjoy the trouble free socialising. There are plenty of drinks to choose from. We went for a few different types of Ales. They do a bit of hot food too. You can sit inside or out. The toilet was clean. They do quiz nights and some live music i believe on certain nights. Definitely worth a visit.”

“I had a great experience at The Table Battersea! The food was beautifully presented and delicious. Definitely Instagram-worthy dishes! Prices are very competitive for London, which was a pleasant surprise. The atmosphere was lively, with a younger crowd, making it a fun spot to hang out. The only downside was the service—while friendly, it was a bit slow. Overall, though, it’s a great place to enjoy good food in a trendy setting.”

“info about £1 Oyster during weekends If you go on Sat/Sun for £1 deal, there are few things you must know. - Oyster deal is 9-11:45 - Only Breakfast menu is 9-11:15 (can’t order main menu) - main menu starts from 12:00 I went but breakfast menu was REALLY disappointing as you see on the image. but oyster were good. I recommend going there around 11:30, order oyster, then order main menu from 12:00 I would revisit only for oyster as it’s so affordable but never breakfast menu. It’s just not worth it. (It actually tookaround 20 mins to get oyster on table)”

GAZETTE BATTERSEA
Unit 79, Sherwood Court, Chatfield Rd, London SW11 3UY, UK
Phone: 020 7223 0999
“If you’re looking for a great beef tartare, done the old skool way, you’ll be in luck at Gazette. Although it’s slightly hidden away behind Chancery Lane, it’s a nice spot to get in the French vibe. The tartare is prepared in front of you so it’s served wonderfully fresh and each bite is packed with juicy flavour. The duck and bavette were juicy and tasty and the ingredients were fresh. The service took a little waving occasionally, probably because they were very busy but they were friendly and attentive when we had their attention. It’s a nice place.”

“I came here for a surprise 40th. Shannon and her staff were great and attentive. They allowed us to put up decorations without touching the walls and allowed us to bring in a birthday cake but forgot to bring the knife to cut it. They were very responsive to my sisters emails and did their best to ensure the celebration went by smoothly. We ordered the £45 charcuterie meat platters, a cheese platter and £25 vegetarian platters. We collectively felt the platters were very overpriced for what it was. The vegetarian platter was barely touched but the meat and cheese went down a treat. The DJ was exceptional for £300 from 10pm to 2am. Our bartender was speedy and polite, we loved her. Unfortunately the bouncer at our room door was away and a stranger slipped in which caused uneasiness and 2 females passed through to the garden who were not part of our party. My sister had to call staff to have him removed. All in all, the birthday boy had a great time. Heartfelt thanks to all the staff involved!”
