Atmosphere and cleanliness was spot on, 10/10, service was impeccable; staff are attentive and listen so orders are accurate and the food was amazing. The Lara special grill plater can easily feed 3 people unless your a hungry man then it will feed 2. Great tasting food around and fresh off of the grill. If you are celebrating a birthday it’s defo worth booking as they also sing their own version of hbd with you. Toilets are also clean and maintained.

Been few times to this restaurant since 2020 and most recently in December 2022 when it seemed renovated. Visited on 17/01/2025. You have to pay for parking at the Iceland car park which I was made aware of when I was seated which you previously did not need too. Was given the complimentary bread and the sauces - bread was not as good as other restaurants I’ve been too where you are also provided with hummus. Ordered the Lara Mix Grill and Chicken Beyti. The quality of the meat is very good here. The chips portion could be bigger as we did replace it instead of having the rice. Interior was nice but seating is cramped. Service was good despite it being loud.

Place and the staff named Shamil was amazing. Me and my friend enjoyed our time here. We had starters, mains, dessert and everything was delicious. The drinks offer 2 for 1 was good deal and the drinks we had was very refreshing. Shamil was extremely polite and friendly, he was attentive and kind. Thank you Shamil:)

I had a lovely experience at Banana Tree Battersea. I invited a friend for a lunch who never has been to Banana Tree and she loved it. The service by Shamil was fantastic, very attentive. We went for a lunch menu with dumplings for starter, Pad Thai+ Mango Chicken and coconut pancakes for desert, very delicious and well presented. Thank you Shamil for your service.

The food was delicious, loved the new dessert bao bun. Vibrant atmosphere and lovely waiter Shamil. Definitely will come back.

Lovely atmosphere and love the old school feeling and having to call and make a booking etc. As the menu changes I suppose it really depends on when you go how happy you will be. We weren’t overly impressed with tonights selection but have friends who have gone and had the beef wellington and said that it was to die for. So I think it can be hit and miss due to the menu selection

We really enjoyed every single dish! Especially beef Wellington. House red wine was lovely as well. Casserole Croute restaurant is cozy, it reminds so many places in France! We will definitely be back and recommend to friends!

After living in S.E. London for 12 years, we finally visited here June 2022, glad we did too. A little cute restaurant on the corner, sitting outside in the summer, aided with a Picon Bière, was lovely. Such top quality food, the portions were very good too. The service is inexcusably French too, so don’t mess about! ;)

At least fourth time of visiting. I have just noticed either the chef changed or the seasonal menu is not the best this time (September 2024). Absolutely very French and nice take on the courses. Note the portions are quite big. Reserve beforehand or low chance finding a table.

We hosted our wedding in the bridge room and the staff were so helpful and made it absolutely perfect. We were able to set up the room the night before which was very helpful! Every guest made a comment to me that the food was so good! thank you for accommodating such a special day!

Highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to host a party, nothing was too much trouble and they made sure that our event was exactly how we envisaged. Review of The Prince Albert I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Prince Albert, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. If you're in search of the best Sunday roast in town, look no further—The Prince Albert truly excels in this department. The roast was nothing short of spectacular, with perfectly cooked meats and a delightful array of accompaniments that made every bite a joy. It was a comforting, hearty meal that left no room for disappointment. To top it all off, I indulged in their toffee pudding, and it was simply divine. Rich, warm, and incredibly satisfying, it was the perfect sweet ending to an already fantastic meal. A special mention must go to James, our server, whose exceptional service truly elevated the experience. His attentiveness and warmth made us feel right at home, and his recommendations were spot on. Overall, I had an excellent night at The Prince Albert. I left feeling thoroughly satisfied and eager to return for another round of their incredible offerings. Highly recommended! Fabulous Sunday roast. Lovely roast beef, red cabbage, crushed roots (swede etc mash), plenty of gravy and an outstanding Yorkshire pudding which tasted as good as it looked. The only thing that let it down was that the roast potatoes weren’t crispy. Great wine selection. Really friendly service especially from from Tom. Dog-friendly. Loved it!

Best place to have a party or wedding day

One of Gordon Ramsay’s flagship locations. Dishes were great but felt little underwhelmed. I’ve eaten at his hells kitchen and other restaurants and found them to be little better overall. Also sticky toffee pudding with a little overcooked and dry, but the staff was helpful and didn’t charge for it, but still, I would’ve expected better from his flagship locations.

This is the trendiest place in Barking.Staff is always polite and friendly.Nice view of River Roding from the terrace,plus they have my favorite cider which is very hard to find.

An uncut gem of a place this bar is. This quaint cafe and bar is off the beaten path as it is too far away from the hustle and bustle of the main Barking town area. Considering the location, this cafe serves the artistic community nearby and therefore has a character of its own. We had a coffee and a glass of wine that we enjoyed sitting outside while taking in the view of the canal. The lady and gentleman who were managing the place are laidback and polite. They were playing uno while the customers were chilling at the place, and that was a nice thing to see. This is a place just to chill and unwind. So if you happen to stumble upon this place, I would recommend grabbing a drink and just relax for a bit. It's worth it.

Stopped off for a coffee and a pint, arrived just as they opened, had a lovely chat with the owner (Del Boy). I wish you all the success in your business, you deserve it. Very chilled out vibe, worth a visit

My first time coming here, visiting my friend and she took me here, was so nice, lovely atmosphere, where you can sit outside and just enjoy the view, beautiful at night time! the cocktails were amazing and worth the money, the owner was very welcoming and lovely, I would 100% come back again.

We had a great time attending a Halloween event for dogs (Paws at the Table) here! We ate from the brunch menu and enjoyed the vegan burger and a fried chicken burger, along with 2 tasty coffees. The truffle fries smelled and tasted great, and something about the fries chicken burger felt really elevated - maybe whatever the sauce was? The vegan burger was also yummy. The staff was great, very attentive, and the decor was really chic. I loved the sofa seating, too. The dog event was good fun and I love being able to go to places where my dog can come along! The only slightly "meh" was the mango sticky rice - it was a bit bland and didn't include the delish condensed milk syrup that most mango sticky rice includes. I'd recommend trying something else, is all. Otherwise we had a good time here!

I booked here for me and friend to eat at one of the Omakase mystery menu nights they held and I was more than impressed - service, food, drinks and atmosphere were all top tier! From the off set walking in, the hostess who greeted us and sat us at our table was super friendly and very knowledgeable on the menu. The food and presentation was impeccable, you can tell the chefs have a real passion to make each dish as amazing as the last! And lastly, the cocktails they had to offer were delicious and so many of them I’d never heard of before - if you’re someone who likes a cocktail…this is the place to go! Thanks for having us!! It was a good dinner at Wright Brothers. Despite being pretty busy at peak hour we were served fairly quickly. The food was good, service was alright. We found the serving staff bit lost and not understanding the menu very well. We're given the wrong information regarding the steak size. Also the indoor seating area has some sort of odour like you have from raw meat. Anyhow the overall experience was good.

I went with my friends to Wright Brothers in Battersea. We sat at the bar because we initially just planned to pop in for some drinks. We started chatting with Juan, the bartender, and he’s such a lovely guy. He made one of the best cocktails I’ve ever tried! Juan was really friendly and chatty, and he even offered us some scallops and oysters, which were absolutely delightful. The scallops were definitely some of the best I’ve had in London. He made us feel so welcome, and we had loads of laughs throughout the evening. Before making the cocktails, he suggested some wine that was exactly to our taste—it’s clear he really knows what he’s doing. I highly recommend trying his special cocktail! I told him the flavors I enjoy, and he created something truly amazing. A real talent. I’ll definitely be coming back—it’s a bit pricey, but worth every penny!

Came here with friends during the evening on a weekday. Atmosphere was was calming and staff were very nice to let me in 15 minutes before my reservation time. For starters I ordered the onion soup, which was very delicious, and for mains I ordered the Gazette burger which was surprisingly very tasty (worth the money spent).

The second time I ate here after my dentist appointment to do some work and a couple of online meetings. Mushroom risotto is so yummy. Very filling and I highly removed it. It is so good that both times I ordered the same dish 😁 Staff were SO accommodating and very friendly. They ensured I sit somewhere quite close to the socket so I can use my laptop.

If you’re looking for a great beef tartare, done the old skool way, you’ll be in luck at Gazette Battersea. Although it’s slightly hidden away behind a condo near the Thames, they have a nice outdoor seating area when the sun’s out, to get in the French vibe. The tartare is prepared in front of you so it’s served wonderfully fresh and each bite is packed with juicy flavour. The seafood bisque was tasty and the ingredients were fresh. The service took a little waving occasionally, probably as we were outside, but they were friendly and attentive when we had their attention. It’s a nice place to relax and have wine with some great tasting French treats.

hired a private room & Shannon SORTED US OUT. The venue is GORGEOUS to begin with but they let you come in a little earlier & decorate before our booking time. She even got together a customised menu for the party! Made our night very special. Food came out on the dot & was AMAZING. All guests were shocked at the all the Halal food they offered (food cooked with alcohol was considered when meeting dietary requirements - you don't get that often.) Hannah was our waiter for the evening and was really looking after us. We were never waiting too long to give orders or even for the drinks to arrive.

What an amazing experience, I have reviewed many venues in my time and the staff here made out experience. The vegan food was on point, the bottomless brunch was flawless! Can't recommend enough, we are fast drivers and the free drinks came fast!

We went for a Sunday roast but I then decided to have the grilled halloumi burger which was a good choice. Not only it looks pretty but it was delicious as well. My partner had the roast chicken and was happy, too. We will dine here again.
