I had lunch with my daughter today and we shared a few starters. The food was delicious and the presentation was excellent. Well done to the cook Freddy for such tasty food. So much thought and care was taken with the presentation and everything was cooked just right. Definitely will visit again.

I recently enjoyed a lovely meal at The Royal Oak, where the food, atmosphere, and service all combined to create a memorable evening. I had the chicken skewer, which was absolutely delicious. Although it arrived with chips instead of the advertised rice, I didn’t mind at all—the chips were perfectly crispy and paired surprisingly well with the juicy, flavorful chicken. The side salad was fresh and vibrant, a nice touch that added to the overall dish. Family also tried the steak and ribs, which offered fantastic value for the quality. Both were cooked just right, hearty, and well-seasoned, making them a satisfying addition to the meal. An unexpected treat was the live singer, who added a lively, welcoming ambiance to the evening and made the dining experience even more enjoyable. The staff were consistently friendly and attentive, making sure everything was just right without being intrusive. Overall, my experience at The Royal Oak was excellent, and I’ll definitely be back for more. Highly recommended!

We are a group of Senior ladies that meet regularly here! Never had a bad meal in all the years we have been coming! Friday we were served by Mete who was very sweet! Fish and Chips were perfect thanks Royal oak

Absolutely amazing night, had my husband’s 50th birthday celebration here and it was the best night. Buffet food was delicious, and the staff were so friendly. They couldn’t do enough for us, it was great to have them share the night with us. Lauren has been so amazing with planning the event and will be missed. Mikey, thank you for everything, we’ll see you soon! Thanks also to the bar staff on shift on Saturday 6th July, (sorry not sure of everyone’s names) you are all so friendly, and welcoming. Hope you enjoyed the chocolate lol!
