A very pet orientated practice, by which I mean the animal's welbeing comes first. The vet is really thoughtful to the animal's feelings. My pet is very nervous but everyone there tries to make him feel relaxed and at ease, and I cannot ask for more.

Nikki the vet was great with my little Leon. He had never been to the vets before, so we were both anxious. She was very kind and patient with him. Going back in a few weeks for more vaccinations and neutering. I am confident Leon will be exploring outdoors soon thanks to Parkside Vets.

All the staff go above and beyond to ensure the animals in their care are looked after with professionalism and love. I can't praise the care highly enough. They have always respect the age and temprament of all our cats, and offered appropriate treatment. They have always explained any treatment or options available and answered our questions fully, however silly they may seem. I thank them all but especially Nicky who juggles the care of all my families cats with a smile.

Your veterinary team was an absolute lifeline for our girl. The compassion and dedication they exhibited when she was diagnosed with Evan syndrome were beyond commendable. Every member, going above and beyond their powers, worked tirelessly to save and stabilize her. Moving out of London, your clinic is the only thing we truly miss. Thank you for being the best caregivers for our furry family member(Luna)

Top tier! Lovely place. Really caring, everyone who works there is so caring with the animals. It’s a joy for the four legged friends to go here- my little husky received her spay surgery today, and still left as if she’d had a nice time. She was well looked after and I think she will heal up well. Highly recommend Anne Nelson vets to any pet parents.

I recently took my cat to the vet, and I couldn't be more impressed with the entire experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff made both my cat and me feel completely at ease. The receptionist was exceptionally welcoming, greeting us with a warm smile and kind words that immediately put my nervous cat at ease. She was incredibly efficient in handling the paperwork, ensuring a smooth check-in process while also taking the time to ask about my cat's well-being and listen to my concerns. The vet was equally outstanding, demonstrating a deep level of care and expertise. They took the time to thoroughly examine my cat, explaining each step of the process in a way that was easy to understand. I never felt rushed, and it was clear that the vet genuinely cared about my cat's health and comfort. My cat, who is usually anxious in these situations, remained surprisingly calm thanks to the gentle handling and reassuring atmosphere. What truly stood out to me was the seamless coordination between the receptionist and the vet. The receptionist ensured that all necessary information was communicated efficiently, and her friendly demeanor made the entire visit a pleasant experience from start to finish. I left the clinic feeling confident that my cat had received the best possible care. I highly recommend this veterinary clinic to any pet owner looking for a compassionate and professional team.

Fantastic service, the vet was gentle, patient and answered all our questions and addressed our concerns. Consultation time should be a bit longer so anything that’s not routine can be dealt with effectively also a longer time means we don’t cut into another’s appointment. Our precious cat is on the mend ❤️‍🩹

I loved the care my cat received at Mitcham Veterinary Surgery when he needed some teeth extracted. He was seen promptly and cared for beautifully. Staff took lots of time informing me about follow-up care and the cost seemed fair. I didn’t gasp in horror at the total as I’ve done in past experiences with other practices.

Rating: 4.5 (786) Price Level:

I took a cat I'd found sadly on the side of the road on a walk to them at the weekend and they very kindly took it in without question. One of the other vets in South Croydon had refused to help but PDSA kindly did it without question - they even took the time to write down where the poor thing was found so I knew they actually cared about scanning it for the potential owner. Really friendly and professional team.

I am so grateful to their services. I wouldn't be able afford to take my cat to another vet. I do give donations whatever I can manage but their services are priceless. It is a shame that it's CEO doesn't give enough to the people who give real service and care to pets.

This vet practice is so lovely. Having my two puppies registered here offers real peace of mind. All the vets we have seen have been just amazing with the boys. The reception staff are always warm and interact with the pups. They’re always very generous with the treats too, which the boys appreciate. The puppy plan and level of care is excellent value for money. You don’t feel ripped off with the treatment costs either. And they bent over backwards to correct a admin mistake and took full responsibility. You can tell everyone there really cares and loves animals.

The Pet Vet Morden

P: 020 3780 7903

Rating: 4.2 (260) Price Level:

Our cat Bramble was seen at The Vet over a period of 4 days. She was seen by three vets and three nurses all of whom were brilliant. The staff even stayed late on the first day, so she could be seen, as it was an urgent appt. They couldn’t have done more, made us feel very calm and relaxed about it and cared for Bramble brilliantly. She’s now on the mend after a day of fluids and round the clock care. We have been with this vet for about 4 years and couldn’t recommend them highly enough. They’ve been fantastic. The receptionists are also so kind and caring and make you feel really welcome.

The vet service is very good. One star was lost due to waiting 30 minutes past our appointment time. Also, the service does not seem helpful when cats arrive who have opened their bowels. If a dog does this in the vets they are straight out to clean it up. Cats can end up covered in their own excrement and need cleaning as soon as possible.

We have used The Vet Morden since we got our rescue dog when she was 6 months old and she is now 10 years old. The vets, nurses and admin staff are friendly, experienced and helpful. Our dog is a nervous nelly and there have been times when the staff member has come out to the car to see her if necessary. Would highly recommend.

Highly recommend The vet Morden! First went there about 4 years ago when my hamster needed to be put down. Despite not being under them they booked us in the same day, took great care of him and even gave a little card with his paw print. An incredible touch that meant the world. Since then they have looked after my guinea pigs always knowledgeable and careful when checking them over. My dog is also under them and I cannot fault the care at all! From first check up, to her spay where I was kept well informed throughout the day about her progress and condition. Then just the other day they fitted her in last minute on a Sunday when Nala my dog became incredibly unwell. The receptionist was so kind and really helped put my mind at ease. All the vets and receptionist really do care about the animals and are always willing to help where possible. A big shout-out to Millie and Jodie I think there names are on reception who always try there very best and nothing is too much trouble for them! The whole team at The Vet Morden should be proud of themselves for the care they give all there customers and clients! Wouldn't go anywhere else!

I have just registered with this The PetVet (Barnsley) and it is hands down way better than my previous vets. Registering my two dogs was quick and easy and the receptionist, Gail, was extremely friendly to both me and my dogs. Gail took all the details and made the appointments I needed as well saving me time. At a later visit I saw the vet for both my dogs injections and he was kind and friendly to both me and my dogs making the injections these traumatic and also explained things in an easy no nonsense was which I could understand. I would totally recommend them to anyone who wants their pets (and themselves) treated with kindness and respect.

Brought my poorly dwarf hamster here and couldn't have asked for a better, more sympathetic, experience. The vet laid out possible treatment options for me but we also discussed euthanasia given the severity of her condition which is what was sadly decided. Seeing a sympathetic vet who I felt valued my hamster as a living being helped me make one of the hardest choices a pet owner ever has to make.

Recently, one of my dogs had to undergo his first ever surgery, and the level of love and care provided by everyone at the practice was truly exceptional. Their attentiveness to both my needs and my dog’s needs made a stressful situation much easier to handle. Following the surgery, he didn’t seem to realise anything had happened, which I believe is a testament to the quality of the surgery and post-operative care. I’ve been bringing my two dogs to Companion Care Croydon since 2017, after my previous practice closed, and I’m consistently impressed by their professionalism and compassion. Joining the Care Plan a couple of years ago was one of the best decisions I’ve made. The routine urine and blood tests have provided early warnings for potential issues – something I wouldn’t have thought to book and pay for separately. The inclusion of flea and worm treatments, along with some free consultations, makes the plan excellent value. The practice has also been incredibly supportive during urgent medical situations. Whenever I’ve had to bring one or both dogs in, they prioritise our needs and ensure that I’m fully informed of all treatment options. I’ve never felt rushed or pressured, even when making difficult decisions. In fact, there have been occasions where I’ve had to specifically request more expensive treatment options because this practice always strives to try and keep costs low while still providing the best and required care for their patients. When one of my dogs had a bad reaction to a new type of annual vaccine, I rushed him back to the practice without having any time to call in advance, and when I presented him at reception they rushed to get him seen and sorted within 10 minutes, which was truly amazing service. The reception staff are consistently welcoming, and the nurses and vets are kind, caring, and professional. Even when delivering less-than-ideal news over the phone, they handle it with the utmost courtesy and sensitivity, making it easier to process and plan for next steps. The free parking is a huge bonus, especially in Croydon, where parking can be a headache. The recent expansion of the reception area has also been a welcome improvement, adding to the overall positive experience. I’m genuinely happy with this practice and highly recommend them to anyone seeking compassionate and professional care for their pets.

I took my gorgeous little cat Taco in for dental surgery last week followed by a check-up a few days later. The service there is second to none. The reception area is clean and inviting (great revamp) and the receptionists are very friendly and welcoming. The exceptional vet Obi and fab nurse Katie carried out the procedure and took superb care of my baby as did the rest of the team out back post-surgery. I would highly recommend taking your pets here - they are treated as if they are one of their own. Thank you all at Croydon Companion Care for being so FAB-U-LOUS!

Short Summary: Past weekend our dog was unwell so we had to bring her in at 9pm. Things got worse for her and throughout we were kept up to date and informed through the whole process, couldn't recommend these guys enough! Long Version: Our initial phone call was greeted warmly and we were invited to bring our dog in for a consultation, the Doctor took the history and symptoms, described what he thought the issue was and gave something to calm her stomach and stop her being sick. We were advised to keep food and water away to let her stomach settle, re-introducing water slowly after a couple of hours. Unfortunately things got a bit worse so we had to bring her back in at 3am and saw the same doctor who again was very respectful, logical and reassuring. We had to leave her for 24 hour observations and received several phone calls over that time to give updates (all positive thank goodness) about how her recovery was going and collected her the day after. Your pet in in good hands - thank you Beckenham Medivet!

Wonderful service from the lovely receptionist who helped with my emergency enquiry for my injured cat, to the lovely vet Christina who was so helpful and efficient. She was really informative about the injury, it's probable cause and an efficient and effective treatment plan for my precious cat - who is now much happier having had some pain relief and anti-inflammatory medication. Huge huge thanks.
