It is inevitable at some point you have to say goodbye to your beloved pet and sometimes that requires some intervention. Everyone at Tender Paws were absolutely lovely. They were so kind and treated our beloved dog of 14 ½ years in such a dignified manner. They provided us with a quiet place to spend the last moments and were very supportive. We were given time alone to say our final goodbyes and they carried out our wishes. This is always the hardest part of dog ownership but we were comforted that the team at Tender Paws were sharing this moment with us.

Tender Paws are the most amazing vets. All the staff are friendly and kind ,showing a genuine concern for our dog. They never fail to amaze me with how incredibly caring they are everytime they treat our dogs frequent ear problems. I recommend them to everyone and feel extremely lucky to have found them during Lockdown when our dog was a puppy.

My poor, little Willow. I miss her so much already and my heart breaks more and more everyday without her. Anna P and Daisy, they Showed my Willow real love and emotions, made her comfortable with heat pads, blankets, cuddles and strokes and really did put Willow in the heart of everything they could. Even filled her belly till the very end (nothing would cheer willow up more than food). I could see they found it hard also as it was such a sensitive subject for any human being, however they kept professional, direct and most important of all they made me and my partner feel comfortable leaving Willow in their hands. We appreciate the hard work and strength you all have working in such a rewarding but yet such difficult career. Our gratitude is great. Thank you again Daisy and Anna.

Excellent care and service and not just for pets. I checked-in and was struggling to talk due to a heavy cold. As a pleasant surprise I was offered a hot mint tea to sooth my symptoms. I would not hesitate to recommend Paxtons.

All the staff here are lovely and you can tell they really care about the animals they see. We found a visibly unwell stray cat hiding in our garden and took her in to get a check up and some treatments and everyone has been super nice and really helpful. I want to especially thank Louisa, Eliska and Cat for doing everything they have over the last few days, and I'm sure we'll be in again very soon with a much more healthy cat thanks to everyone here! 🙂

I'm actually speechless. These guys are like having a privately tailored Veterinary service revolving around your needs and the needs of your pet. They were sooo wonderful, accommodating, kind and professional too. I went in with my 3 Yr old Chow chow for a dental surgery. My fluffy hates going to the vets she gets terrified and starts shaking immediately. Not this time. She was so comfortable with the team at Urban Vets, that she even accepted treats from them! ( never happened in her life). She did not tremble or shake in anyway which is a first ever for her. I was so at ease with the staff that I felt comfortable leaving her there the whole day. The dental procedure went extremely well too!! I cannot recommend this place enough. Really an amazing team there. Will recommend you guys to my Chow chow whatsapp group with 350 members!! All the staff go above and beyond to ensure the animals in their care are looked after with professionalism and love. I can't praise the care highly enough. They have always respect the age and temprament of all our cats, and offered appropriate treatment. They have always explained any treatment or options available and answered our questions fully, however silly they may seem. I thank them all but especially Nicky who juggles the care of all my families cats with a smile.

Both my cats have been under these amazing vets for just over 10 years, and no words can describe how professional and understanding all the vets and staff have been towards my cats and us, especially a recent event on 13/12/2024 with our older cat who sadly was diagnosed with HF and I must say they really are amazing vets cannot thank them enough for there care of my cat and making us as a family feel not to anxious and giving us total understanding of the condition to the meds to payments so so helpful. Olivia was my vet. Very friendly lady, treatment advised made a huge difference to my cats health. Knowledgeable and willing to try treatments to help. I have used Parkside over the last 25years and have always been helpful. Obviously costs are an issue but I know my animals are safe

I found Paxton vets for my 2 bunny rabbits after moving from the USA to France to the UK. It is very hard to find experienced rabbit veterinarians (especially in a new country). But Paxton Vets treat them so well, with such gentle kindness and always listen intently to my concerns so I feel heard and understood. They are clearly knowledgeable with rabbits and I trust them. Whenever I have a question the vet herself gets back to me (same day) via email with the answers I need, suggestions, etc. It is clear customer and pet care are of top priority here at Paxton Vets (Gipsy Road) - many thanks!

Simply incredible care from all the team at Anwell. After a poor experience from another vet we came here & so glad we did. Looked after a very poorly Greyhound so well. Talked me through all the tests needed & upfront with very reasonable costs. After an X-ray it was clear that she had an incurable tumour. Greg was incredible with his compassionate way of dealing with both us & the way we had to have her put down. Made a horrendous time as smooth & peaceful as it could have been. I would highly recommend Anwell to anyone.

Mayow practice was recommended on my local Greyhound group and I registered very easily and quickly. My hound has been very poorly and was treated by another practice as I was out of London. I felt very reassured during our consultation with Alice that she knew what Lenny needed immediately and how this could be achieved. She literally had him eating out of her hand and he had eaten very little in the preceding days so that was a wonderful thing to witness. He is not out of the woods but hopefully on the road to recovery. The staff definitely have a soft spot for greyhounds!

We had the best experience today at Mayow Veterinary surgery. Our greyhound ripped her dew claw on a walk and they saw us immediately. The vet, Alex was fantastic. He was incredibly kind and gave her the best care. He also gave us a lesson in how to get a fussy dog to take a pill! The nurse, Kate was also great as were the friendly and very welcoming receptionists, Toni and Vanessa. All round a great experience and we were so grateful to get the claw removed and the paw bandaged so quickly. Thank you!

Top tier! Lovely place. Really caring, everyone who works there is so caring with the animals. It’s a joy for the four legged friends to go here- my little husky received her spay surgery today, and still left as if she’d had a nice time. My cats had their annual check-up and vaccinations this morning. They were seen promptly and the service was friendly and professional as always. I was pleased to be told that my female cat didn't need to have her teeth cleaned and x-rayed after all (unlike her brother last year). It's good to know I'm not being encouraged to have costly and unnecessary treatment for my cats.

As ever we had a very positive experience at this veterinary practice. Our 13 year old Staffie Cross needed an urgent operation on his ear to deal with a stubborn haematoma. The staff are wonderfully supportive of us, by explaining all our options and and the risks with the procedures. We've been with them for the last 12 years and are thoroughly pleased with the service.
