Really lovely Italian restaurant. The food is exceptional (vegetarian options clearly labelled) with very generous portions, the atmosphere is welcoming, the service is great. Had a really lovely late Sunday lunch with my parents. First time in a long time I have felt the meal was actually value for money. Note booking is essential, several months in advance!

Iāve been coming here for 10 years and itās our families favourite restaurant to go to. Jo is the host with the most, sheās hilarious, inviting and has the warmest personality. Claudio the chef is a true master at what he does, they are a dream team! Our favourite dishes are the Antipasto for starter and San remo for main, but everything is cooked with love and served with a smile. We always have a brilliant dinner here. Make sure you book well in advance is my tip!

There is no doubt this is an exceptional family run Italian restaurant with first class food on every occasion. The dining experience is very good and the food good value. The only aspect not fully 5 star is the exceptional long wait you can experience for food which can often be up to an hour. Most people donāt mind waiting for freshly cooked food, but up to an hour is a little excessive. I have experienced this and observed others who have had to check where their order is. Otherwise this is a full deserving five star experience.

I've been eyeing up this restaurant to go to for a long time and everytime I've driven past it it's busy. I've heard others recommend it and I finally went with friends yesterday. Exceptional Italian food. Really great flavours, came out within half hour which is reasonable considering they were full. I had pizza which was great, and my friends had the mushroom risotto and a tagliatelle dish which was very generous. Tiramisu for dessert was so good too! Lovely staff and service. Reasonably priced. I'll certainly be back! Also lots of vegetarian options for my friend which was great.

What a fabulous restaurant - we had a truly wonderful meal here last night. We had a family incident before and were late, and the staff was so accommodating and kind. When we arrived, we had very cosy table, the staff were so incredibly friendly and warm and the food was out of this world. Every dish was mouth watering and the portion sizes were perfect. What stood out for us was how exceptional value it was. We would highly, highly recommend and will be coming back!

Our absolute go to restaurant. Itās our favourite place and weāve been many times over the years. Weāve been to lots of Michelin starred restaurants and Docket is absolutely up there for us! We always recommend Docket to friends and family. Amazing food, service and atmosphere from Stuart, Fran and the lovely team. We cannot wait to come back again and again!

On September 7th, we celebrated our anniversary with my boyfriend at Docket Restaurant. As we entered the restaurant, we were greeted with impeccable hospitality. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxing, with pleasant lighting and an elegant yet modern interior. The staff was very friendly and attentive. As for the dishes, each one was a true work of art. Our tasting menu consisted of 10 dishes, each unique and incredibly delicious. I was especially impressed by the presentation of the roasted tomatoes in tomato essenceāan unforgettable taste. The dish that my boyfriend enjoyed the most was the steamed halibut, dusted with nori powder, resting in a light crĆØme fraĆ®che sauce, accompanied by turnip, black barley, and puffed wild rice. The soft, flaky fish paired perfectly with the crunch of the wild rice, while the creamy sauce balanced the earthiness of the barley and turnip. Each element complemented the other, creating a wonderful mix of textures and flavors. At this point, the restaurant had already exceeded our expectations; we were very satisfied with the food and the experience, but it turned out there was more to come... The final dish was brought to us and presented by the chef himself, which pleasantly surprised and delighted us, and he also congratulated us on our anniversary. And that wasn't all 𤤠because later we were served a special dessert with a lit candle, and the staff congratulated us on our anniversary once again. It was very touchingāwe made a wish and blew out the candle. This was a special and unforgettable experience for us. I'm very happy my boyfriend chose your restaurant.

This was from last November. The food that James produced was outstanding! Along with Jo the sommelier and the wine pairings it made this visit incredible. What makes it more interesting is that you haven't got a clue what's going to be on the menu!

We have been to Wild Shropshire a couple of times becoming one of our favourite restaurants. The food is creative and delicious with the bonus of an alcohol free creations flight which is an experience in itself. Already looking forwards to our next visit.

This is our third visit and as always we come away having enjoyed the most incredible evening. I'm always blown away at how the team have mastered the most delicious taster menus, be incredibly attentive and personable, and yet still create an atmosphere that is fun, relaxed and welcoming. I can honestly say I've not found anywhere else like it, and quite frankly I've no desire to look elsewhere!! This place is perfect! If you enjoy food with real flavour and wish to explore beautifully paired wines then you must try this place out. But I do warn you, you won't find pleasure in eating anywhere else once you've been as the food here is so mind-blowingly good! And there's plenty of it! We also learned today that 90% of the ingredients are local, and they are focussed on sustainability. Great food and great ethics, well done Wild Shropshire. See you soon!

Absolutely amazing experience! Never had a tasting menu where we've enjoyed every single course until coming here. James seems to really care about the customer experience and is obviously very passionate about the food that he cooks - understandably so! Jo was also amazing and really helped to make our evening worth remembering with some great wine recommendations. Can't wait to come back and would recommend to anyone!

Fantastic cafe and good quality coffee. Some staff are so fantastic and I am always fascinated on how they even remember your name! It does make an impact and makes you feel so welcome! I do wish that there would be more pure Colombian coffee either in brewing you one, or selling as beans. Its great coffee place, and one of the best locally. Thanks for a great service!

Was food delivering in Whitchurch on Wednesday. Looking for a coffee and found Kudos on Google maps. Nice looking place. Clean. Toilet in back. Nice staff. Asked for a black Americano, and was asked if I'd be interested in / try their filter coffee. Was really nice and clean tasting. Filter is a nicer / cleaner tasting coffee, method in my opinion. Plus you don't get quality filter coffee in many cafes. Food looked good. Will be back if I'm in the area again. I do recommend. Parking is a real problem in Whitchurch. Do your research.

We are so thankful to Clock Barn for playing such a huge part of making our wedding the best day of our lives. From the first moment we walked into Clock Barn for a tour we fell madly in love and knew its where we wanted our day! (the gorgeous long driveway too) From the point onwards the planning journey was exciting and supported so well by the team at Clock Barn and especially Georgi. They consider all the little details, listened to our wants and we're flexible and helped us with advice and support. There planner meant that the day was clear, we knew every little detail and so did the team at Clock Barn. So when the day came we both felt so relaxed knowing it was in safe hands. There were so many extra details that I never expected also, from car park attendants helping people find there way and expert service in the dining so everyone's plate is placed at once per table. They really did make everything run like Clock Work! On the day they decorated the place beautifully to our plans, they looked after us and our guests perfectly and really made us feel so special. We used the prep room for getting ready which I'd hugely recommend as it's such a perfect space to spend with your bridal party the morning of. Again all the little details taken in to account like enough hanging space and plenty of seats etc. Then we also stayed in the farmhouse/Hayloft for the night of. Our guests loved the rooms in the farmhouse and how beautiful the rooms were and we were in awe of the Hayloft- didn't want to leave. The best thing in our opinion on the accommodation is the breakfast the morning after. The long table in the farmhouse with close family/friends was so special to reminisce the moments. The breakfast was continental with delicious pancakes but we were well looked after by providing tea/coffee, toast, more jams etc. We are just beyond grateful to the team at Clock Barn for making our dream a reality!

We've had the pleasure of performing at The Clock Barn for a full day Wedding. The indoor ceremony space was set out beautifully, there was plenty of room for guests to navigate their seats and for the photographer and videographer to move around quietly during the service. The outdoor space was perfect for music, afternoon drinks and canapes, we performed an outdoor set in the gardens where there was plenty of shade and outdoor seating. Overall the venue is stunning but equally the events team are so welcoming and friendly, they were very efficient with the room turn around and running of the day seemed effortless for the team, they work so well with vendors which was so refreshing to see! We really hope we get to come back and work at this beautiful venue again soon. If you're looking for a wedding venue that ticks all the boxes this is it! š¤

We got married at clock barn yesterday!!! I literally cannot fault anything. The food wouldn't go amiss in a Michelin star restaurant. The staff were attentive. Friendly. Busy. Our manager Noni was simply amazing. Her attention to detail, Friendly and approachable manner meant everything went without so much a blip. The grounds are kept immaculately. The rooms are to die for. I wouldn't think twice about recommending the clock barn to everyone I know looking to get married. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You made our special day PERFECT.

6 of us went for a pre-christmas lunch. very good food, well presented. wonderful to be close to the log burner, and the sheepskins on the wooden chairs were a treat.

We went on a sleepy Tuesday morning for lunch . Let's start at the beginning. We walked in and were warmly greeted by each of the staff members we met. The young lady behind the bar was an attentive host. Quickly sorted out lunch order and drinks. Both came delivered to our outside table quickly. The food was perfectly seasoned and hot. Zero complaints there. It was a freat experience, and one we will be repeating without doubt. The only criticism I had was that if seated on the patio, you can not open a tab, but this is because last year they had too many people run out on their bills, so rightly they have now withdrawn this privilege. To be honest this is a really minor inconvenience and will not stop us returning. Met the owners on our way out and discovered that motorcycle ride outs will be accommodated so I intend to return with some friends for a Sunday lunch......

What a GREAT find!! This is a lovely county pub with B&B rooms, some above the pub and the others in the outside / garden area, adjoining the pub. We stayed in one of the garden rooms which was lovely. The food at dinner was DELICIOUS, great portions and every course was delicious, we didnāt have breakfast but I am sure it would have been great too!! Thereās a big, free onsite car park which is very convenient . If we are ever in this area again, I would not hesitate to book and stay here - Iād like to book a Sunday next time so we can sample their delicious roast dinners! All of the staff were great, very friendly, bubbly & very accommodating - THANK YOU āŗļø

The Black Bear is well known for being very good for food. Menus are not overly complicated and the produce and presentation good. The service is very good with people who genuinely keen to ensure you have a good experience. This weeks curry week offered a good choice of different curries. The sharing platter was particularly good value as there was plenty for two. The only bit that was disappointing was the naan breads which were comparable to supermarket bought naans. Drinks are a bit pricey at this pub though and meals not cheap. The pub is missing a log burner for cosiness too. Would recommend though if you donāt mind paying higher than elsewhere.

An excellent, friendly, clean pub with superb food and excellent ales. Service was friendly and first class. We had the roast beef and roast pork. I can't remember the ale but it was the local brew. If you're looking for the British pub with good food and great ales then try The Black Bear.

A lovely place. The decor was very smart, clean, and looked new. The food was well presented and tasty. I had the small fish and chips, which was more than plenty. The batter was the best I've ever experienced, very thin and not greasy at all. There is a lovely rear garden, quite surprising with plenty of seating, beautiful planting and a hidden gem on a sunny day, loved the sunflowers. Toilets were immaculate and the staff very warm and welcoming and pleasant. We will definitely go back.

We arrived later than planned but just caught the cut off time for lunch. Jackie served us and was very lovely & looked after us very well. She recommended the lamb & mint pie of the day. It was possibly the best pie Ive ever eaten. Pastry was thin ,crispy & flaky, and the balance of the melt in your mouth lamb and mint was perfect. Served with mash and veg all cooked perfectly with a gravy packed full of flavour. The cocktails are also fabulous , very well executed , not the cheap watery fruit juice versions you frequently receive elsewhere. My picture does not do this meal justice.

What a great tour and great place to visit. The bar and cafe fit in perfectly with the tour. The master class package was more than expected. Starting with a tour the guide Luke was so pationate and knowledgeable. He became known as Ginny Wonka as he took us around. Then onto the cocktail making class which again surpassed all expectations. Best not to drive if doing this tour.

Phenomenal! Iāve wanted to visit for a while and I am glad we got to finally experience it. Our tour guide was Luke who was highly enthusiastic, funny and knowledgable. It ended with a gin masterclass with Ellie, who was witty, knowledgeable and engaging. After enjoying the cocktails we made by the stream, we visited the gift shop and fell victim to some tipsy present purchasing for Christmas. There was a young Asian lady (sorry, didnāt catch her name!) in the gift shop that allowed us to try different samples to help support my purchasing, and a friendly gentleman called Tyler who engraved my gifts. Overall, the experience was unique and definitely one to recommend to friends (already done this haha). Thank you for making this so special!

Good and informative experience. Tour starts off with trying cocktail and video clip of around 15min in their new cinema hall. Then we go around distillery, wonderful views as well. Worth the money.
Rating: 4 / 5
We visited on a tour, we were a little late so missed our gin and most of the video in the cinema. The place is interesting, not sure it has very much to do with the gin however. If you like gin itās a decent day out, but itās a bit more about the history of the site (printed all of the worlds paper money there at one point, India House is where the rupees were printed for example), so itās interesting, but perhaps not all relevant to a gin lover. The greenhouse was designed by the same chap as designed London buses and they donāt use those botanicals but you do learn about how they use botanicals to make the gin. I would suggest perhaps not going over Christmas as everything was turned off and it was freezing cold and not much seating.
