A friend and I had a lovely lunch here on Thursday of this week. We both had scampi and chips, the chips were excellent as was the scampi. The service was excellent too. Staff were very friendly.
Lovely old building with a friendly warm and welcoming atmosphere. The special of venison and mushroom with mash was amazing!! Great food. Dog Friendly 🐶
Good service and lovely Sunday Roast. The pub was warm and cosy. The staff were friendly and professional.
We'll run establishment with friendly enthusiastic staff. The venison burger was excellent. Great beer as well. Nice and warm from a real fire on on a cold evening. The language at the bar was at times coarse which detracted from the atmosphere, apart from that it would have been 5 ⭐
We stumbled upon this pub and what a find, we had a lovely lunch, food was fabulous and we cleared our plates.Service was brilliant, the pub was quiet at the time but the had a nice atmosphere and staff were very accommodating.
