âThis was the first time I tried Korean barbecue and it was fantastic!! Rex and Jerald were very helpful in talking my friend and I through the whole process. They provided great customer service. I really enjoyed the food and would strongly recommend, especially on a quiet weekday when the waiters have the time to explain the process and provide recommendations.â

âKids friendly place for a Sunday roast and the Service was good and quick. My beef roast disappoint , although veg are perfectly cooked and the Yorkshire pudding tasty, I only had 2 slices of beef thinner than ham slice ! In comparison the kids had bigger meat portion.â

âWe came here for a christmas dinner and had an amazing experience. The christmas decorations were lovely, the staff (Charlotte?) were super friendly and helpful, and the food was brilliant. They handled allergens effortlessly, with plenty of choice for gluten free. Thoroughly recommend.â

Giggling Squid - Wimbledon

âI love the food in a Giggling Squid, hence why we came here, Iâve never been to the Wimbledon one despite it being close to our folks. I would definitely go there again. I shared a selection of starters with my wife and in-laws, all were very good and extremely tasty. For main I had the Melt Beef, as recommended by the server, this was brilliant, full of flavour and perfectly cooked as I have come to love about this chain. They had an amazing beer on selection called the Mad Squirrel which I think was unique to this branch which I really enjoyed and I didnât think it was too expensive either. The service was a little lacking to begin with, we waited quite a long time for our drinks, but they got better throughout the experience. I wouldnât say it was so bad it ruined our experience and I would be happy to come back. The decor is just beautiful and makes you feel very light and relaxed, youâll understand if you go.â

âNice restaurant, staff & service was great. We drank an orange wine which was delicious. I had moules et frites but a little dissapointed with the dish as the sauce was very thick & very rich. It needed more wine or some lemon on the side at least+ not enough chips . A piece of bread or baguette would have been nice to mop up the sauce. It was rather noisy as it was Sunday lunch and the loos albeit clean, they were a bit smelly. Good value for money & I would visit again to try something else to eat at a different time of day though.â

âFood was 10/10, service a little slow but they seemed under staffed. The lighting was very bright like a canteen style in main room which was a shame. Very noisy for Sunday lunch, staff banging pots and putting away cutlery very loudly for entire time. I love children, but lots of screaming kids (aged between 7-12), staff did nothing to ask parents to keep children calm to not spoil others meal out. Felt like I was in a loud canteen and not a relaxing pub.â

âOne weekday evening, I visited this place with people I care about, and I was genuinely surprised to find such an atmospheric spot in Wimbledon. The ambiance exuded from the interior itselfâelegant yet understated, luxurious without going overboard. It struck the perfect balance. The staffâs service was as delightful as the foodâs flavors, which made me savor every bite, something I hadnât done in a while. The prices were fair, and itâs a spot Iâd love to revisit with loved ones right here in the neighborhood. Itâs a place that can easily turn an ordinary evening into something a bit more memorable.â
