A truly great London pub. Always busy for a reason. Classic red carpet and wood panelling. Amazing selection of beers from around the world. Bar billiards table to be found in a corner which is now a rare find. Outside seating area is good too. Kinda hipster these days but a good place anyway. Also inexplicably hot in the pub. Could go either way leaving the doors open.
Had been told we had to visit The Dog & Bell at Christmas... and we were not disappointed. I can see why it takes two weeks to decorate inside and out. Sampled a few of the still ciders and wasn't disappointed. Nice to find a pub you can have a conversation in with a great atmosphere.
I really enjoyed the sausage festival with a great variety and beautiful people. I really loved the atmosphere and ambience of the pub. I will definitely go back again for great food and drinks
The Christmas feel / how they set the pub inside and out is quite something and one of the best in terms of atmosphere in the city. The service was friendly and nice when arriving but it was very busy which isn't a surprise either. We also ordered food and was a little disappointed with it but don't be put off as it's all very worth the visit. Solid A**** LDT x
Fantastic pub. Friendly staff and a really nice ambience. Big garden and space out front. Dog friendly. Live music on offer. What more could you want? I had a good vegan burger for lunch and thoroughly recommend this place.
