First time for me to try Caribbean food. There are a couple of Caribbean restaurants on the Deptford high street. This one has one of the highest rating. There are plenty of seats available in the restaurant. It looks quite clean also there are staff wiping the tables constantly. The order system is a bit challenging. There might be two queues, one is for ordering, one is for picking up. I had to mix of ox tongue and beef steak, a large one for £12. It is so filling. Big fan of the Ox tail but not so much of the beef steak because it was quite chewy. I would highly recommend the ox tail. It is really well dude the meat is very soft and tender with good flavour. The sauce goes extremely well with the plain rice. I normally go with rice and plantain. If you like Asian food, this would be fitting your taste as well.
