I visited the local gem, Zia Lucia, for lunch. The rich, flavorful dough and the wood-fired taste were absolutely exquisite. The aubergine salad we ordered alongside was also delicious. A big thank you to Hamid for his excellent service~ ♡♡

Had a lovely time at Zia Lucia. It was a very busy night so the pizzas did take a while but our waiter Sourau was so lovely and attentive that we completely forgot about the issue and he helped to rectify the situation. Can’t wait to come back!

I had an amazing experience at Zia Lucia on Old York Road. The Prosciutto & Funghi pizza was absolutely top-notch – perfectly balanced flavors with a crust that was light and flavorful. The quality of the ingredients really stood out. A big shout-out to Hamid, who took great care of me throughout my visit. His friendly and attentive service made the evening even better. I’ll definitely be back for more!

Since I discovered this little gem in London I can get enough of their food, I had the pleasure to dine here 3 times in a month!! I’m Italian and I lived in Rome for 8 years and trust me when I tell you that this is the best Roman food I’ve ever tasted!! I’m not even able to recommend you one dish because everything is delicious and the service is 10/10, everyone is so nice and kind at the point that It feels like home. Roberto and Beatrice are amazing but I want to mention the whole staff but unfortunately I don’t recall all their names. This became my fav Italian restaurant in London.

Last night, I dined at a restaurant in Zona 2, London, and overall, the experience was a mix of highs and lows. We started with bruschetta and Burrata, both of which were fresh and flavorful. For the main courses, we had Carbonara and Tonnarelli Alla Grigia, and both dishes were expertly prepared. To finish, we enjoyed Mille Foglie and Roch Pistacchio, which were delightful. Despite the quality of the food, the bill was exceptionally high, especially considering the restaurant's location outside Central London. Some of the prices were even steeper than those at restaurants in central London. Additionally, it is intriguing to note that the Aperol Spritz costs £10 at the bar directly opposite Trattoria Trastevere, while it costs £12 at Trattoria Trastevere itself, despite both being on the same street in the same location. The toilet facilities were disappointing. They were dirty, with old furniture and unappealing dry flowers that detracted from the restaurant's atmosphere. I also noticed two waitresses were confused about where to place plates. Overall, it was a great experience, but I'm uncertain if I would return.

Taverna Trastevere has a cozy, welcoming vibe with friendly staff and a good selection of wines. The Cacio e Pepe is creamy and well-seasoned, perfect for pasta lovers. The dessert trio offers a delicious variety, each one sweet and satisfying. A great spot for a classic Roman meal.

Felt very Christmassy. I recommend the baileys espresso martini (see pic!). Justin our waiter was great. Tasty food, great ambience and a last-minute blue light discount topped off the evening!

It’s taken a year to write our review following our amazing wedding at Le Gothique in June 2023. Great people, great place, wonderful food and they were a good mix of accommodating and educating so we ended up making the right choices for our special day. Andrew was great, worked with us for our requirements, always offering advice, listening and accepted when we wanted specific things. It’s a great venue with outdoor space as well as indoor bar and seating, all set within a wonderful historic Gothique building. We held the ceremony in the garden with all seats supplied and Andrew worked with our design agency who set up flowers, archways, seats covers etc. The garden offers choices on seating layouts and arrangements but we used the central tree as out focal point for the ceremony. We brought in London Strings duet who are highly recommended for live classical background. After the ceremony and whilst photos were being taken we served drinks and canapes which we had carefully selected with the team at Le Gothique. The venue has tables and chairs and you have great space outside with overhead covers to arrange how you wish. We had our decorators set out the tables and worked closely with Andrew to ensure all worked for the final seating plan. The food we had chosen (a few weeks before in a tasting session from the whole menu! A real highlight!) was delightful, everything arrived promptly and exactly as we had seen it before. We had allowed guests to have unlimited wines, chosen some specific wines before with the team at Le Gothique and they went down a treat. Their flexibility as the event timings ran late and fitting in speeches was terrific. We brought in lighted signs, a 3D rotating camera system and other specific items which were all well accommodated. Finally we brought in a live band, who were amazing! Andrew has their details… Initially we were disappointed once we realised the band were not allowed to play outside in the garden as discussed in the wedding planning meetings. But actually the band playing indoors by the bar was just great. It worked so well and guests really enjoyed the ability to stay outside in the quieter area or come in for dancing up close to the live band who were busy with requests. We even had the bar staff dancing! The Le Gothique team allowed us to bring in outside caterers (Brazilian supper menu) to complement their own food for supper. Overall, a great venue, amazing for an outdoor wedding and to bring in live classical music and bands, perfect for up to 100 people and we found really well priced. The Le Gothique team all worked very hard to make our day special, not only on the day but at the build up and we cannot thank them enough. Highly recommended and the best day of our lives. Oh and many of our guests said it was the best wedding they had been to! 30deg sunshine and the Provence rose did help also 😊 Thanks Andrew, Mark and the Le Gothique team in making our day so special and memorable. Great job

A Perfect Wedding Venue – Exquisite Setting, Outstanding Service Le Gothique on Wandsworth Common is an absolute gem, steeped in history and charm. Housed in the magnificent Royal Victoria Patriotic Building, this Gothic Revival masterpiece provided the most stunning backdrop for our wedding day. The blend of Scottish Baronial and French Châteauesque architecture, along with the serene gardens, created an atmosphere of timeless elegance. From the moment we arrived, Mark, Andrew, and their brilliant team went above and beyond to make our wedding day truly special. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and warm hospitality ensured everything ran smoothly, leaving us free to enjoy every moment. The food was nothing short of exceptional—beautifully presented, delicious, and met with high praise from all our guests. Combined with impeccable service, it elevated our celebration to perfection. Le Gothique is not just a venue; it’s an experience. We wholeheartedly recommend it as an outstanding choice for any event, especially weddings. We are so grateful to the team for making our wedding day so memorable, and we will treasure the memories forever. Thank you, Le Gothique!

Incredible and beautifully cooked/presented food. Flying visit to London, staying nearby, (looking after son’s dog), so didn’t want to travel far to eat. So glad I booked in at Le Gothique. Staff were warm and accommodating .. and the dog was made very welcome too! Amazing value for money and food was on par with the best I’ve ever had! Will definitely return and highly recommend to others.,

Lovely venue. Large spacious hall with period features. Facilities are not many considering the hall capacity. Parking was easy and very user friendly. Along walk to the entrance if on foot, or using public transport.

Great venue for food drinks and catch major sports. Does a great roast dinner. Been here a few times. Outside garden has a cover over in winter and they take it off in summer. Burger shack is decent. The sandwiches were a little too big as I choose a sandwich as wasn’t overly hungry. The bread was like super thick.

A very nice pub by the river, friendly service, good app ordering as well, very nice inside and out 👍

Smashing riverside pub, very large outdoor area, and decent food. Sunday roast and burger shack are good. Worth a visit, but does cater to a younger crowd so be aware.

A bustling, riverside, character, pub and restaurant which obviously gets repeated custom !!! It was a big rugby day, and most tables were booked - highly recommended - post 4.30pm, but fortunately, I visited enough time before this to enjoy a meal and a few drinks. Service, via the Youngs app, was very quick, although the app didn't show wines by the glass easily, and if you make a mistake, you have to empty the whole basket - APP BEWARE !!! The food was high quality and very nice, drinks too. My only complaint was that - and as it's getting colder - there was an awful draught every time the door opened because the door heater was broken. Hopefully, it will be fixed before I return for a winter burger !!!!

This is my favourite pub in London. I always book here as you're guaranteed a warm welcome from the wonderful team, the food is always excellent and the very friendly regulars are very nice. Luigi is the consummate host. Highly recommended.

Nice pub with good food. Drinks are on the expensive side but the food is reasonably priced and good quality. There’s outdoor seating at the front and lots of tables inside. Each table has a qr code you can scan to get drinks and food delivered quickly to your table which was very efficient and worked well.

Great atmosphere for a Saturday night. Lively but still possible to have an intimate table for two. Luigi and the team looked after us and kept everything ticking over nicely when it was busy. First visit but will definitely go back soon.
